• Saffron (8/5): Good for what you pay for so close to the city centre but some easy improvements could be made - Easy check in. Happy to give me extra body wash when I asked at reception. Very close to the train station and only a couple stops to get into the city centre. The WiFi was really bad, kept cutting out and not working. Loud and creaky floorboards due to it being an obviously old building. I was supposed to have room service mid stay but someone just came in and put fresh towels in, no cleaning done.
• Vivienne (10/5): A very pleasant stay in a lovely historic building - The apartment was very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. It was a lovely bright, spacious space close to a good choice of restaurants, bars and supermarket and within walking distance to the Opera House. If I was visiting Sydney again we would definitely stay here again. Wish we had longer time here!

• Sophie (4/5): Good location, expected better facilities - The hotel is well located in a small street behind kings cross / Potts point. It’s quiet despite being in the middle of the action. The kitchenette was useful for quick meals and the room is decently sized for 2. The internet kept dropping out and if it did work, it was slow and couldn’t load basic google searches. Not ideal for those working while travelling. Asked the front desk about it but couldn’t resolve it despite troubleshooting. Probably a personal preference, but the bed was a Murphy bed and we felt it was too small for two adults. There was a gap between the wall and the mattress so you had to put pillows in this gap to act as a bed head. It felt like sleeping on a sofa bed which we don’t expect from a hotel (maybe a hostel?). We both didn’t sleep well during our stay. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work and nor did a few lights on the walls. The light dimmer also broke off so you had to dim the lights without a workable switch. All this is to say is that unless it says otherwise (or given prior notice), we expect things that are in our hotel room to work.

• Justin (3/5): Very disappointed. - The location is very close to the heart of Kings Cross and a short walk to bars and restaurants. The room was spacious and the bed / pillows were good. There was a coffee machine, a fridge all in good order. The room had a funny smell like someone had been over spraying after shave. The bathroom was tiny, the shower curtain filthy, and the toilet seat did not fit the toilet. We had the air conditioner on, and during the night it started leaking into the room which may it impossible to sleep. Further, on booking.com it specifically states that there is private parking - however, upon arrival we were directed to a public car park, which is a 5-10 min walk away.

• Anika (8/5): Für einen Sydney City Trip zu empfehlen - Die Location des Hotels ist super, es hat uns auch mit Kindern sehr gefallen - mit vielen Restaurants, Cafés und Läden in der Nähe und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut zu erreichen. Unser Zimmer war groß genug für eine vierköpfige Familie. Die kleine Küche war ausreichend gut ausgestattet und die Waschmaschine ein Plus für Familien. Das Hotelpersonal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel hat einen Aufzug - dieser ist zwar charmant aber auch antik, mit Kinderwagen war es etwas schwierig. Die Matratzen der Betten sind ganz schön durchgelegen. Die Sauberkeit könnte sicherlich noch verbessert werden - unter die Betten sollte man nicht schauen. Außerdem wird auf Grund von Nachhaltigkeit nicht jeden Tag gereinigt bzw. die Handtücher erneuert - was wir an sich unterstützen. Jedoch wurde das vorab nicht kommuniziert - in der Woche, die wir dort waren, gab es eine kurze Basis Reinigung.

I love to be able to open windows and get air which I could do in both the room and bathroom! It was a great stay- just felt that some aspects of the room could be attended to. Toilet seat wasn’t hinged on properly- light bulb out in bathroom. Just needs a little extra attention to maintenance and it would be excellent.

• Samantha (6/5): Old building means poor facilities - Spacious room with private bathroom. Located next to many food places and easy walk to train station. Bed was comfortable. Room was not cleaned properly upon my arrival - floor was not vacuumed and had a cockroach that I had to pick up and flush. Dishes were not dried and put away from previous people and tea towels and random pillowcase were wet and on the table. Toilet leaked the entire time and dripping got annoying (Room 23). Shower curtain did not close. Powerpoints in bathroom do not work. Safety switch flipped when I tried to use toaster. The coffee machine had no frother for milk. The "scheduled service" they promised on my 3rd day there was not completed at all, floors were very dirty by then and towels were gross. Fridge froze all our food and drinks. Bathroom door did not close properly. No dish detergent was provided so I had to go ask for some myself. No milk was provided.
• Luise (10/5): perfect stay for a city getaway with an amazing view - Die Lage ist super, man ist überall unglaublich schnell, sei es bei der Bahnstation von Kings Cross oder in der Innenstadt, auch ein toller Spaziergang zu Fuß! Die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Skyline von Sydney ist toll und bietet sich optimal für ein Frühstück oder BBQ oder auch einfach eine kurze Pause an. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch unser Studio war schön groß und hatte eine gute Küchenausstattung!

The room was dull and very tired..the bed was a very small PULL DOWN BED!!! The small bathroom in need of modernisation no shelving to put toiletries and shower head does not cope with water pressure. Bars on all windows an.extreme hazard in event fire!!!!! As there were no other rooms available I was given a 360 aud refund /not even 1 nights cost!!! As they say that room 18 is given to Bookings.com I would appreciate your comments. In my opinion this room is No way a 400 aud roo

Grande chambre climatisée, lits confortables, au calme, belle terrasse avec barbecue et bain de soleil. Quelques soucis avec des nuisibles et avec le matelas du canapé pas très épais, mais le gestionnaire à fait ce qu'il fallait et rapidement.

Did not enjoy the fact that there were noisy roadworks being undertaken immediately outside the building during daytime hours, over which of course the property had no control. There was also considerable neighbourhood noise at night. The double glazing helped but only to a limited extent.

• Alexander (8/5): Nice for a short trip - I was surprised that the property wasn’t a real hotel, more an apartment complex- with limited operational hours, but it worked quite well! Thanks to the staff, we could left some luggage between stays! Thanks for that! The facility’s were in good shape, everything was clean, the beds a bit smaller than usual and the aircon was runny- but we had a nice time there! Quite close to the subway and just a short 20 minutes walk to the opera house. Sheets had some old staines from pressing eventually, but it was okay. Since people are also cooking in their apartments without proper ventilation, the halls smelled of food, and windows couldn’t be opened completely.
• Sifelani (9/5): Thoughtfully designed, offering a pleasant aesthetic and good amenities. - Gorgeous place in the middle of a crammed suburb. Welcoming and helpful staff. Don't know why but I was piqued by the Georgian syle lift, gives a sense of originality and what you see is what you get vibes. Kinda greasly dust on some surfaces - headboard especially, despite not soo obvious to the naked eye. Am soo pedantic with tiny oversites and what the dusting/cleaning clothe missed. Also, two small wayward cockroaches nighttime wandering in the bathroom -was not a surprise- considering the closeness with other buildings, maybe hard to keep them from wandering in, however, the good looking spacious room layout over shadowed the sighting of these.

• Fiona (10/5): Handy location with parking available - The location was handy and we liked having a the little kitchen area to make breakfast. The old style of lift was also really cool to see - although we mostly used the stairs because we found that faster. Plenty of places to eat out close by as well. The bed was on wheels, which didn't seem to lock so as we got into bed it slid around the room a bit. Not a huge problem, just a little odd for a wooden floor.

• Olena (7/5): - Location, friendly reception, apartment size with big window The photos of the hotel do not really reflect the actual condition of the apartment. The apartment needs maintenance, several things didn’t work, like the dishwasher, and some of the furniture was falling apart like dining table and kitchen cabinets. Cleanliness could be improved, especially under the beds, and the lighting was quite poor. The building itself is beautiful and full of character, but there’s no soundproofing at all. We could hear every step and word from the neighbors above, and noise from the nearby bars and restaurants made it hard to sleep. Kitchen supplies, especially the pans, were old and worn out, microwave was dirty. The towels were clean but looked tired and had several spots. One of the apartment walls showed signs of old water damage, which was unpleasant to see.

• Robert (7/5): Regents Court was great for our brief Sydney visit. I would stay there again. - Spacious room. Vintage charm. Excellent location with facilities very close. Friendly staff. The single bed was a bit old and uncomfortable. There was a recurrent mystery noise, perhaps related to cooling system.
• Sandeep (8/5): Good , Budget friendly stay - Near to public car park and other shops, sofa bed gives added ample space for sleeping, reception staff were good and welcoming, value for money. Interior of room can be a bit better, toilet found small, kettle found little bit old.

• Gareth (9/5): - Nice big rooms, good air con and clean The only negative was the bedding. The duvet was just sandwiched between 2 sheets, which meant it kept coming loose in the night. They need proper bed sheets.
• Satya Pavankumar (10/5): Loved it - would absolutely stay there again because of how homey it felt. - It was the perfect location (loved the access they had to the local gym) and was a very spacious room. Sure it’s a bit dated, but couldn’t have asked for more.
