• Katharina (8/5): Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel, Zimmer groß genug für London, sehr freundliches Personal. - Die Lage war hervorragend. Zu Fuß konnten wir viele Geschäfte, Cafés, Restaurants sowie Musicals (Hercules) erreichen. U-Bahn Station sowie Bussstation waren in fußläufiger Nähe. Die Aussicht auf die Klimaanlage im Innenhof hat schon gestört. Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel, aber das moderne modernen Lichtkonzept hat die Dunkelheit ausgeglichen. Die Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen, ein Grund, weshalb ich das Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen würde.
• L (10/5): Safe, relaxing, fun - Staff was super nice and would agree to bring me cookies when I asked at 1am!!!! Also - I stayed there one week, and the following week I stayed in an Airbnb nearby. One day I was shopping in Covent Garden and a man began following me around and harassing me. I went to the hotel lobby and the staff standing by the entrance approached me asking if I needed help (I was probably visibly distressed). He was incredibly helpful, and assisted me, together with another staff at the reception, being on alert, offering me to go into the staff room, bringing me water and letting me sit in the lobby while I was figuring out what to do (and they didn't know that I had stayed at the hotel the previous week). Thankfully I managed to make that man lose my tracks before I got to the hotel. So thank you so much for your humanity both when I was staying there and also after my stay.

• Brynhildur S Bjornsdotti (10/5): A wonderful hotel with exceptional service, great breakfast and the perfect London location. - The welcome was excellent from the moment I arrived, and the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and professional throughout my stay. The breakfast was wonderful, and the location is absolutely perfect. I have stayed in many hotels in London, but I feel I have finally found the hotel I will always return to. Honestly, there was nothing I did not like. Everything about the stay felt easy, comfortable and well taken care of.

• Brad (1/5): Not worth the price -- a 1 star hotel experience with awful rooms - The location is fine. No elevator access to third floor. The room was awful. No central cooling or heating with windows that did not open more than 3 inches, no closet or shelf space so be prepared to live out of your luggage, no bathroom mirror over the sink, minimal to no amenities such as 1 towel provided and no coffee maker (but for the cheapest instant coffee plus 1 cup and a warming pot). Inconsistent housekeeping. Overall, it's not suitable for business travel and should be considered a 1-star hotel. If you stay here and you are given a room on the third floor, refuse!

Love a tea and coffee facility in a room esp at the end of the day. Electronics to turn on a light too confusing at times even for staff.

Nous sommes arrivés à 10h et avons demandé si nos chambres étaient prêtes. Une d'entre elles l'était et nous y avons déposé l'ensemble de nos bagages sans rester dans la chambre. Nous avons été facturé de 100 livres pour arrivée anticipée... Il aurait suffi de nous proposer de conserver nos bagages en bagagerie pour que cela nous suffise. Pas vraiment commercial comme manière de faire.

The Hotel restaurant - The Sycamore - served delicious food. Nothing at all. I wish they have locations in other cities, like Paris.

• Sue (7/5): A nice stay convenient to Covenant Garden. - The property was clean and bright and the rooms were well equipped. I stayed in a deluxe and there was a small sofa and bath robes and there was a small perfume sample to take away which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. Although the staff were happy and helpful there was only one breakfast tea in the room, although other types were provided, and when we asked for some more they never arrived. We asked the night before and they said they would send some up while we were out and then we called in the morning hoping to get them so we could have a cup before leaving and then called 30 mins later and the wouldn’t answer the phone. The receptionist finally bought them up directly which was lovely of her but it was too late. Unfortunately It’s the little missing touches you remember.

• Bogdan (9/5): - I’ve been fortunate enough to stay at many five-star hotels across Asia and Europe, and I really must say — and even emphasize — that the reception and concierge staff at Middle Eight Hotel provide the best service I have ever experienced anywhere. The hotel itself is very good overall, although there were some issues with the air conditioning and noise in the corridor. However, the service at the front desk was so exceptional that it made us forget these inconveniences. A truly outstanding team and a level of hospitality that deserves special recognition.

• Gerben (6/5): Great location, but a lack of flexibility - The location is great! The flexibility of this hotel was quite disappointing. I made a mistake when booking and accidentally reserved one suite for four people instead of four separate rooms. The total price was roughly the same as booking four individual rooms. After realizing the mistake, I booked three additional rooms and kindly asked if they could downgrade my 4-persons suite to a smaller room. Unfortunately, they refused. I fully understand that the initial mistake was mine. However, given that the overall booking value remained the same, I would have expected a bit more flexibility and customer focus. A normal room would have been more than sufficient, and this situation resulted in unnecessary extra costs. At a hotel of this level, I expected a higher level of customer care and willingness to find a reasonable solution.

• SK (8/5): Angenehm und sicher in London - Perfekte Lage für Kurztrip nach London, sehr sichere Umgebung, Bus und Tube um die Ecke, ebenso Shopping und Pubs fußläufig erreichbar. Hotel mit 24 Stunden Rezeption und Service sowie Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit. Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder. Zimmer etwas dunkel, auch mit voller Beleuchtung.

• Gayle (8/5): Handy central location - The standard room was lovely, felt much more upmarket than other standard hotel rooms. I really liked that it had a sofa in the room and it was a nice touch getting a gown and slippers. There was plenty space in the room too, and somewhere to stash my case in the wardrobe so I wasn't tripping over it all the time on the floor. The little lighted mirror next to the TV was great for doing my hair and makeup. I didn't like the hi-tech lighting, just give me an old fashioned on/off light switch! I also couldn't figure out how to switch off the air con, it was loud at night which stopped me sleeping.
