The bed and pillows were super comfortable, the sheets were extra clean, the room itself was very spacious and beautiful, the water pressure in the shower was top notch. The self-checkin instructions were perfectly clear and communication with the property owner was excellent. Location was exceptionally good. The only negative points we found was there was no elevator and we had to climb to the second floor with our 23kg luggage. Otherwise the window overlooking the Via Faenza was not very well insulated from the noise and it's a very lively corner, so we heard everything that was going on outside. The window was of very good quality, it was just not insulated between the window frame and the wall. Otherwise, here's to a very weird quirk about this room, some nights we were waking up because of a very intense clogged sewer like stench... don't know what it was but it deeply disgusted us. Other than that weird, very strong odour, we truly loved every minute we have been there.

- Kamal Kumar (10/5): - Very good room. Spacious bathroom. Short distance from airport. Calling cabs in the morning results in many cancellations or exorbitant pricing. It is better to hail a cab.

- Alyssa (10/5): - Area was so convenient, very close and walking distance to the train station. Quite modern and clean inside! A few things to note: it is close to a bar and can be quite loud at night until about 1-2am; there is no elevator if you have accessibility needs, it is a few flights of stairs up to the guesthouse; there is no conditioner for amenities (I have dry hair lol). Aside from those few things it was a lovely stay, the housekeeper seemed quite friendly. Would recommend and stay again! Make sure to sign and take a peak through the guest book for little tips from other guests too :)

- Andrew (10/5): - Very comfortable bed and modern room with good storage. Room was very clean and quiet. There is no staff on location, so make sure to reach out to them beforehand if you want to drop-off luggage prior to check-in. Also keep in mind that there are a few flights of stairs you will have to take to reach the guesthouse. Overall a good stay and would come back again.

- John (8/5): Great location and spotlessly clean. - Our room was immaculate. Really spotless. Great shower and everything supplied. A good firm bed which might be too firm for some people but perfect for us. It’s a little unnerving to enter the building into a dark and rather basic entrance and then it’s four flights of stone stairs to get to the actual guesthouse. 3 key codes needed to get in so be prepared. Once in it’s very pleasant. No receptionist or anything but the cleaner was helpful in the morning. The location is great. Near everything.

- GLORIA (8/5): Clean spacious room. 4 flights of stairs. - We stayed in room 3. The room was spacious and very clean. The restroom was also very clean. The shower doesn’t have anywhere to put your shampoo bottles so it was kinda difficult having to put everything on the floor when taking a shower. Another thing I did not love was the fact that they don’t let you control the AC system. We got there on March 20ish, a very sunny day and, after traveling and climbing 4 sets of stairs, we found a very hot room, literally 29C. I was told that they have the heater on because it was winter (which it was already Spring by then) and to wait until night time for the weather to cool down. I asked if I could open the windows and that was allowed, but still kinda frustrating not being able to cool down in your own room and to depend on them to control the AC unit. They let you store your luggage after checkout, which is always very helpful. The communication is via Whatsapp and they respond fast. Self check in is also easy to do since they provide very clear instructions. There was water, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shower cap and hair dryer in the room. Climbing up 4 sets of stairs was horrible. This would be one of the biggest reasons why I couldn’t go back to this hotel. Italy is a lot of walking and a lot of stairs everywhere, and I completely understand it. But climbing stairs with luggage is another level of torture.
- Julia (8/5): - Artemide Guest House is more of a completely remote hotel. We didn’t see any staff besides housekeeping and you’re given all the instructions to check-in on WhatsApp the day before. You’ll pay for the city tax remotely before your stay. They have daily housekeeping, but charge you 1 Euro per towel if you change it daily. We just kept the “Please do not disturb” sign on our door for the duration of our stay since we didn’t need anything. No elevator here so you’ll have to carry your luggage up 2 levels. Location is very close to the Firenze S.M.N. Station and about a 10-15 min. Walk to most of the popular Florence destinations so that was a plus. We couldn’t figure out how to work the a/c & heating and the shower doesn’t have a place to put the toiletries inside which was a bit inconvenient because we’d have to open and close the door getting water everywhere near where we put our soap/shampoo. Overall, it was okay for our stay for a few nights in Florence.

I advised the number given, but nothing was done - part of the problem in renting a hotel room without a front desk or security. The room is good and has all we needed… just unlucky the kids next door held a party on a Wednesday night.

Only issue we had was that the corridor was quite noisy so we could hear other guests check out quite early one morning. I’d still recommend this place despite this.

This residence was located close to the train which was very convenient, and in good walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. We stayed in room 4, and our only complaint is that the room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. Otherwise, would highly recommend this residence.

- daniel (10/5): - booked this for our honey moon, as it is a guest house, the team whatsapp me a couple of days before to prepare me for the stay. it is quite near the train station and there are so many places to eat nearby. there is no breakfast provided but there is a small cafe just around the corner which has good coffee and croissant. laundry shop is just a 2 min walk away. this really helped as it was in the middle of our trip in italy.

- abisola (8/5): - I stayed here for 1 night, it was suitable for my needs. The interior is modern, clean and centrally located close to most attractions and just 5min walk From the station. There was a jacuzzi in the room which my daughter made use of and enjoyed. Note that it is self check-in and check-out which was a first for me and but it turned out ok, I had instant help via WhatsApp when I needed it. There are 2 flights of stairs which might be a struggle if you have heavy suitcases. Also, there is no door or divider to toilet which I would have liked.

- ANDREA (8/5): - Ottima posizione, in vecchio edificio a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria e da tutti i siti storico-artistici del centro storico. Ho apprezzato la totale riservatezza (arrivo ed accesso indipendente a qualsiasi ora con codici in seguito ad istruzioni inviate per tempo via email/whatsapp; documenti inviati in precedenza), non è stato necessario incontrare nessuno dello staff, nemmeno per pagare la tassa di soggiorno, con notevole risparmio di tempo e flessibilità. Camera spaziosa e confortevole, arredata in modo moderno, con riscaldamento regolabile. Avendo prenotato la Deluxe, abbiamo potuto usufruire di sauna e vasca idromassaggio, ad un prezzo ragionevole (almeno in bassa stagione): un vero lusso dopo una intensa giornata di visite. Pulizia e accessori più che soddisfacenti (prodotti da bagno, bollitore e macchina Nespresso). Sicuramente la camera può essere utilizzata solo da persone intime fra loro, data la presenza di bagno e doccia a vista. Personalmente, avrei apprezzato il servizio in camera ogni giorno, ma eravamo stati avvisati che non era previsto (forse sarebbe consigliabile metterlo a disposizione su richeista, con un piccolo supplemento). Inoltre, nella doccia manca una piccola mensola dove appoggiare il necessario. Infine, forse per il prezzo pagato, almeno la semplice colazione in convenzione col bar vicino poteva essere inclusa, ma anche in questo caso era chiaramente dichiarato che si sarebbe dovuta pagare a parte.
