Breakfast service was different each morning one more was awful, 2nd was great. no mention of night club onsite and was really noisy early evening

It felt very much like a budget hotel room except for the bed and bedsheets which were comfy. There were no other facilities in the hotel other than dining, the pool was closed.

It was my wife's birthday when we were there and a massive shout out to Nancy A, she left a card, fruit, macarons, water and a cake. Not only did she keep our room spotless, she went over and above to do this for her and after a very long day it was well received. I vote for Nancy A as employee of the year!!!

Front desk, Tim, was outstanding. All of the staff was very welcoming and made you feel at home. There was an issue with my room and they moved me to another room immediately. Bed was very comfortable. I wish the restaurant was open midday.

- rachelnB5951TO (10/5): High End Experience with Professional and Accommodating Staff - This was my first time staying at the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, and overall it was a wonderful experience. From the moment you pull up, you are greeted by a friendly valet team who immediately make you feel welcome. While parking is $80 a day, the convenience and security, along with the ability to request your car with a quick text, made it worthwhile. At check-in, Nina at the front desk truly set the tone for my stay. She went above and beyond by introducing me to the ALL membership program and helping me take advantage of its perks, including an earlier check-in and a discount on the first day of parking. Since I had booked through a third party, she also made sure I received my 20 percent discount on food and beverage, which I really appreciated. My initial room faced Beverly Boulevard, and unfortunately, the street noise made it difficult to sleep for the first two nights. That said, the in-room amenities, especially the Balmain products, were incredible. I am still thinking about that scent. On the third day, I spoke with Nina again, and she kindly moved me to a beautiful room facing the Hollywood Hills. The difference was significant, and I was finally able to rest and fully enjoy my stay. One of the things I loved most about the hotel is how easy it is to settle into a daily routine. The gym is clean, well equipped, and perfect for a morning workout. Afterward, I enjoyed breakfast at the hotel restaurant, where Roman consistently delivered exceptional service. He was professional, warm, and attentive. He remembered my order, my preferences, and even welcomed my breakfast guests. When I mentioned wanting to treat my aunt to a spa day, he immediately returned with helpful information and a coupon, which was such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast itself was fantastic, with high quality ingredients, great coffee, and a beautiful ambiance. The spa experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and my aunt said her massage was one of the best she has ever had. However, the facilities themselves felt limited. The lockers were not functioning, the sauna was not turned on, and there were no additional amenities like a whirlpool. It is a great option for a quick, high quality treatment, but not necessarily for a full day of relaxation at that price. At checkout, I noticed that my 20 percent food and beverage discount had not been applied. Eddie at the front desk handled the situation quickly and professionally by reviewing and correcting the bill without issue. He also explained the 45 dollar daily urban fee, which had come as a surprise too. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and truly felt taken care of by the team, especially Nina, Roman, and Eddie. I am already looking forward to coming back especially when the pool and rooftop will be open. If parking were ever comped, that would make the experience even better too!
- Global_Tourists (10/5): A luxury property with real LA glamour - We were starting a 3 week West Coast vacation, flying into LAX and beginning our holiday with out first 6 nights in Los Angeles. We have visited LA on 4 occasions previously, staying in the past south of the City in Anaheim. On this occasion, we chose to base ourselves at the Sofitel at Beverly Hills. We picked up our hire car at the airport and drove to the hotel (30 mins). We were greeted by the Bell man, our luggage removed from the trunk and whisked into the property. A parking valet took our car keys and we immediately felt that we were in the care of Sofitel ! On entering the gracious lobby, we were immediately enveloped in a luxurious ambience: marble, beautiful furnishings, ornate lighting and a feeling of refined opulence. We were warmly welcomed by a pleasant receptionist and allocated a premium room on the 9th floor. She then gave us a couple of the hotel's souvenir aluminium water bottles and advised that they could be re-filled throughout the property at filtered-water dispensers and she then escorted us over to the elevator, pointing our the bar and restaurant, before saying that our bags would be brought up shortly. We took the elevator to the 9th floor and quickly found our room. Our bags were delivered within a minute. Our room was beautifully appointed and cleverly designed. On entering, we were in a lobby area, with wardrobe & well-stocked mini-bar. To the left was a very spacious bathroom with huge walk-in shower, wc and vanity basin. The bathroom also had complimentary luxury toiletries and amenities together with bathrobes and slippers. A nice design feature was an obscured-glass panel in the shower, which overlooked the bedroom and allowed natural light to flood into the bathroom. The bedroom was fantastic. A huge and extremely comfortable king-size bed - luxurious high thread-count bedding, bedside cabinets, desk, swivel chair and armchair. There were two juliet balconies, accessed through two sets of French windows. The views to Beverly Hills, the Hollywood Hills and......yes....the famous Hollywood Sign were incredible. The room was nicely decorated with framed prints and equipped with a digital safe, effective aircon, iron, ironing board, coffee machine and a range of lamps, which enabled a range of lighting moods to be created. Housekeeping throughout the property was immaculate. Valet parking ($79 per night) is efficient and courteous - a quick call to the Valet a few minutes before you depart will ensure that you vehicle is ready for you at the front door. During our stay, Cher was filming in the lobby with a movie crew. Quite an experience ! I cannot recommend this hotel too highly. In terms of the neighbourhood - The Beverly Hills Center (shopping mall) and famous Cedars Sinai hospital are directly opposite the Hotel. Rodeo Drive is a 5 minute drive, with the sights of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood on your doorstep. Santa Monica and Venice Beach are an effortless 20 minute drive, Malibu is a 35 minute drive. The Hollywood 'Avenue of the Stars' (with the famous Chinese Theatre and it's star-lined pavement) is a 20 minute drive, with The Griffiths Park Observatory (visible from the room) and it's stunning views over the whole City is a further 10 mins drive from Avenue of the Stars. TOP TIP - for the very best photo opportunity of the Hollywood Sign, drive up Beechwood Drive from Hollywood for about a mile and park in the car park behind the cafes and shops at it's intersection with Belden Drive. The sign is right above the car park - and you can enjoy a great brunch at the Cafe. For convenience, we used easily available Uber when dining at night. We ate at Wolfgang Puck's Spago restaurant in Beverly Hills - a little pricey at $350 each for an 8-course tasting menu with wine pairings - and found that Dame Joan Collins was sitting with friends at an adjoining table ! The food and wine were amazing. If you are into celeb-spotting and don't want to spend quite that much, Craig's on Melrose Avenue serves wholesome American fayre for around $30 for main dishes. We had a great dinner there, met it's owner Craig Susser and had the fun of passing Paparazzi who were on the sidewalk outside. The Sofitel at Beverly Hills is a wonderful base from which you can enjoy the excitement of LA on your doorstep. Highly recommended !

- Murat (3/5): Unacceptable check-in policy and poor maintenance – not a true luxury experience. - My experience was highly disappointing for several reasons: Check-in Issues: A 4:00 PM check-in time is already unusually late. When I arrived early and requested a room, I was told nothing was available. However, they immediately offered to "find" a room if I paid for an extra full day. This felt like a dishonest way to extract more money. I was told they would call me when the room was ready, but I didn't get access until 3:30 PM anyway. Atmosphere: The hotel felt like a construction site. There were cameras and heavy equipment everywhere due to an event, which ruined the luxury ambiance. Amenities: This is an "eco-friendly" hotel where you fill your own water. However, the machine on my floor was broken. I had to go all the way down to the lobby in the middle of the night just to get water. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber.
- ColinO123 (10/5): Luxurious & Blissful Luxury Room at Sofitel LA - Visited LA for a birthday celebration. Booked a Luxury Room, 1 King Bed, Hollywood Hills View for 3 nights via the ALL Accor app. This was our second stay - we had stayed in a Superior Room with Beverly Boulevard View previously; would the Luxury Room be worth it? We were provided a room on the 6th floor. VIVE LA DIFFÉRENCE! - The Luxury Room had better (roomier) space design especially in the entryway between the closet and bathroom. - The view of the Hollywood Hills from the room was scenic. Views of the surrounding West Hollywood neighborhood was also quite nice. We could see the Pacific Design Center, and Griffith Observatory in the distance, - The bathroom and shower enclosure was spacious (much better than the Superior Room bathroom). - There were two sets of French Doors that opened to balconets (see hotel website photo for this room category). We appreciated being able to let fresh air in plus having an unobstructed view of the lighted Hollywood Hills at night. - We used the hotel's toothbrush kits and shaving kits. The toothbrush kit was very good; better than what was available during our previous visit. The shaving kit had a very nice razor. WORTH MENTIONING - The bed was super comfortable especially with the featherbed topper. Bed linen was Standard Textile Centium Satin (cotton-polyester blend) which felt great. - The Balmain Hotel Amenity Collection (paraben-free) bath amenities were appreciated. - AC kept the room comfortable. Ventilation white noise was around 60 dB which is quite gentle. - Complimentary WiFi was speedy and reliable at 13.8 Mbps Download and 14.3 Mbps Upload. - Hot water arrived at the shower within 30 seconds which is ok. Used the rain shower head mostly. - We had to ask the front desk for spa robes and slippers, They are both very comfy so make sure to ask for them if they are missing from the room. - There is a minibar in the room, but no mini fridge for personal use. The front desk said we could request one without charge. - Our housekeeping staff (Sophia) kept the room in good order. She also provided assistance with using the Nespresso machine. There was also evening turn-down service, but we did not meet the staff who did that. - The front desk staff (Carolyn and Jennifer) were very welcoming and courteous. We really felt welcome as guests. Valet staff were also caring. - There was an armchair in one corner of the room, and a side chair at the work desk. - The room television was a swivel-base 47" LG FHD (1080p) with about 66 channels of programming. Image was clear. Remote control worked well. - Three elevators. Quick every time we needed to use them. - Complimentary light aluminum water bottles provided at check-in. Convenient filling stations next to elevators on our floor. - I like the thoughtful touch of how the Bose Wave was playing relaxing music when we first entered the room. - Plenty of room lighting and all within easy reach. Hmmmmm... - We did not see any USB charging ports in the room. Remember to bring your adapters. - Hairdryer was a Conair 1875 - a budget model. Could be better to match the overall hotel and room grade. - Paper cups for in-room coffee and tea. They worked fine, but non-disposable cups (eg, ceramic ware) may give a better impression. - Pillows were all soft fill. OK for stomach sleepers, but less comfortable for us side sleepers who would prefer medium or firm fill pillows. - Our side of the hotel overlooked a playground of a small school. We could hear the activity from the playground around 8 am until about 9 am. We were ok with it, but others should know about it if they like to sleep in. SUMMATION - We enjoyed staying at this Sofitel very much - even moreso this time because the Luxury Room was better for us in several ways. We appreciate the special touches here as well as the welcoming hospitality.

- Lisa (7/5): It was okay, would not book again. - The lobby and common spaces are stunning. The staff is very nice and breakfast was included. The room is very outdated and dark unfortunately. There is no lamp in the middle of the room, so even with every lamp on, it still is very dark, which makes it hard to work. The room itself needs to be renovated. I could also hear my neighbors speak, which is annoying when you’re trying to sleep.

- 862jgaru (2/5): 0 stars and pretentious nonsense, unsafe area and BEVERLY GROVE recommendation LOL - Meh - alot of pretentiousness from the staff and a dated boho looking lobby from 2015 styling but with guest rooms that looked like they were from the 1990s - perhaps they got the set from Pretty Woman for a song. I'd give this a miss, the staff had a bad attitude and the pool was broken down with no advance notice to the guests, other than them handing you a piece of paper on arrival! I was also recommended to go to and contradictory directions by two staff to get to Beverly Grove across the street, which is a complete ghosttown. Blargh, there are far nicer places to stay in the area with less weirdo attitude (you work at the front desk of a hotel - Prince Charles would have shown far more graciousness) I arrived about 2 hours prior to their OFFICIAL 4PM check in (which other hotel does this? It's typically 3pm) and they were extremely strict about check in and I was basically told to F off over to Beverly Grove ghosttown when I had two tired young children in tow and insisted my room would not be ready prior to 4pm! That's a grand total of 17 hours in your room before you're booted out to the car that you called down to valet for, that didn't show up for 20 minutes. The man suffering from psychosis across the street from the hotel, threatening a city bus in the middle of the intersection with a large baton and knife was the icing on the cake as my kids and were at the crosswalk to go to no mans land - the hotel's favourite, beverly grove!!! This is not a safe area by any means. Go anywhere else! Management should be ashamed.

Pool was closed which we were not advised about pre booking, LA was under red weather warning so pool would have been welcome. We had to book day passes at another hotel. Hotel was also turmed into a nighclub for 2 of the evenings we were there, guests couldn't use bar or restaurant, again no communication on this. If you have breakfast included, note that its off a small menu choice, if you have the bowl of yoghurt and granola, thats it, nothing else, would be nice to have bread etc.

While maintaining the authentic DNA of Sofitel, the unique character of Los Angeles can be felt throughout the hotel. Rather than repeating the usual comments about the great location or excellent service, I would like to highlight something more meaningful. The hotel provides guests with a safe and welcoming environment, accompanied by attentive and thoughtful service. My sincere appreciation goes to Team Leader Dee, George, the entire Front Office team, and the management team who oversee and guide the hotel. Thank you for helping make our trip to Los Angeles even more memorable and special. If I return to Los Angeles, this will be the only place I consider staying. My deepest thanks to everyone.

The location is perfect, close to everything! Special thanks to Jorge, who made check-in seamless and welcoming during my solo trip, despite my jet lag. Later, when I felt unwell due to the heat and jet lag, Erik and Carlos went above and beyond, providing water, checking on me constantly, and making me feel safe and at home. Their kindness and genuine care truly need to be recognized. Highly recommend!
