Atmosphere of a totally remodeled hotel that has existed more than a hundred years. Excellent breakfast. Everything exception I needed to borrow an electric cord for my phone and when I returned it in the morning there was a large charge on my phone in case it did not return it. I had no intentions to keep it.

It is in the center of Munich Old Town, and everything is nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

- Darwin (10/5): A comfortable place to stay that is near iconic historical sights, local cuisine and shopping - This is a beautiful hotel, providing comfortable spacious rooms, a fantastic breakfast with lots of options, a cool bar area, and spa area. The hotel is located near several great restaurants including the Hofbrauhaus. Shopping and the clock tower are only a few blocks away.

- Jorjan (10/5): Estadia perfeita ! - Um padrão de atendimento excelente ! Muito bem localizado, podendo visitar todos os pontos de interesse à pé. O quarto era muito confortável e limpo. Tem estacionamento próprio com manobrista, o que facilita muito. Todos os funcionários são extremamente atenciosos.

- Amaury (10/5): Un hôtel génial, cadre très chic et chambre ultra confort ! - Emplacement idéal. L'hotel est vraiment génial, les équipes à l'écoute et les chambres super confortables. Je recommande vivement pour un séjour court ou même un peu plus long, en perso ou en pro.

- Gerhard Ernst (7/5): - Wir haben ein Upgrade auf eine sehr schöne Suite erhalten. Die Einrichtung war neu und sehr ansprechend. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral, man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Zum Hotel gehören zwei wirklich gute Restaurants, die wir auch genutzt haben. Das Frühstück war für uns enttäuschend. Die Auswahl war dem Grunde nach ok, aber meistens bereits nicht mehr vorhanden. Das Nachlegen von Speisen war sehr nachlässig, die erhofften frischen bayerischen Semmeln leider trocken.

- Edward (10/5): Best hotel in Munich Old Town area - The Platzl is the best hotel in Munich. The staff, especially Peter, are generous with their time and know,edge. Room was excellent. Great beds! Breakfast is fantastic. And, the location is perfect for your stay in Old Town. Great restaurants within a five minute walk. Marienplatz station is only 5 minutes away. This will be our go to in Munich. Nothing

The only thing is that the duvets aren’t wide enough - they don’t hang over the side of the bed at all. With two people in the bed, someone is always having the covers pulled off of them.

- Laura (10/5): Great location close to Marienplatz, Hofbrauhaus and Residenz. Vibrant lobby bar - Comfortable beds and great walk-in closet to keep things organized and out of the way. Beautiful spa area with steam room and sauna options. The breakfast was outstanding! The make your own fresh squeezed juice bar was a special treat!

- Roderick (7/5): I would look for a lower priced hotle next time if I visit Munich again. - Good location for Old town Munich. Front desk personnel were friendly. Lots of restaurants near by. Kinda pricey and breakfast was expensive. No coffee available until restaurant opened at 7:00 am. Taxi reservation when departing was a no-show.
