kathymP2326JG (10/5): Great location and friendly service - Such a covient location to Chelsea Flower Show and Chelsea in Bloom. Great restaurants within walking distance in Belgravia. Victoria station and underground across street. Staff are so kind and helpful. Steffi in the dining area ordered my omelet every morning and always so helpful. Maricica also provided excellent service for cleaning our room and changing out our towels etc. Concierge provided excellent service to print out Chelsea in Bloom maps!!! The hotel could add filtered water refill stations on each floor to reduce trash and improve service.

Just 5 mins from the station and wicked musical theatre. Lovely neighborhood. I also liked the welcome cookies. I would have loved a lil more add ons like a robe and room slippers.

JandJWarwickshire_UK (8/5): Great hotel but with warning - Lovely central theatre for theatre we were visiting with family. We used a booking in to pay and pre book in and given room number. We arrived at 12 but room was not ready as we were early. We were presented with lounge discount tickets for extras. Lovely Concierge staff stored our small bags and were very friendly. We went and had drinks and tapas in the lounge area. Lovely bar service and told room accepted for discount. Strangely the service charge was more than the discount??? We met our family there and then went off to Matinee nearby. Arrived back at hotel at 5.30 pm and showed to room. Lovely clean room and bathroom. View outside was awful as at back of hotel. Went off to Dinner with family to nearby restaurant. and returned alone around 10 ish for coffee/ liqueurs. We were then told our HH points from lunch and then couldn't be added to our account as we hadn't swiped a credit card when we got our room. my husband tried to address this with reception in the morning and eventually went and asked to make a complaint. Surely it is receptionist job to make sure a card is swiped if we have a room number and given discount tickets??? Poor communication. No manager appeared but was informed some credit points would be added to account. Apologies from Manager would be expected. Saying that our breakfast was lovely and great staff James, Belinda, others and especially Oscar who LISTENED to our story - deserves promotion! Lessons learnt could improve future customers experiences

We had to ask for the slippers then we got them. The sign to put on the door „don’t disturb” was missing. We had to ask for it from one of the cleaners. Shower in the bathroom was a bit broken and then it got temporarily fixed with a tape. The toilet paper after the cleaning service didn’t get re-filled. We had to ask for the extra toilet paper at the reception desk. This is definitely not what you would expect from the hotel where you pay €400 per night for a double room!

The quality of the rooms was fine, and breakfast was also generally of a good standard. There was a slight issue with a blockage in the shower, which affected the experience a little, but the main issue that really let the hotel down was the coffee at breakfast. The quality of the coffee was significantly below the standard of the rest of the breakfast offering — it felt like the cheapest, lowest-quality option available, and it genuinely detracted from what would otherwise have been an enjoyable start to the day. I would strongly recommend that the hotel reviews and upgrades the coffee in future, as it doesn’t match the otherwise good quality of the experience. Thanks to Belinda for the eggs!

Shawnigan-L (8/5): Star in the restaurant - Our room was nice, comfortable but loud from the street. I asked for a quiet room but there is construction on the quieter side of the hotel now. So basically we had no choices unless paying a lot more money to get a higher floor. One shining star to our stay was Brenda in the restaurant. Service in London is not very friendly but Brenda stood out. She always had a big smile on her face, made you feel cared for and genuinely, you felt, she was interested in you. We really appreciated her and I let her know.
O9431ZZjenniferw (10/5): One million percent recommend! - The hotel was absolutely wonderful. The concierge and restaurant were particularly kind and welcoming! They all accommodated our full family with thoughtful care, including helping us rent (and recharge overnight) a mobility scooter for the week we were there. The breakfast was quick and delicious and the perfect way to start our tourist days. The gym facilities were clean and welcoming. The hotel location was AMAZING for access to buses, tube and trains.

paulinehR2224KH (8/5): Staff of this hotel - All the staff of this hotel (housekeeping particularly ) are very experienced and attentive. They are always smiling and polite. At the restaurant KaushiGamage is particularly friendly, helpful and polite.
sarao779 (10/5): Family friendly visit for LLHM - Brilliant hotel, close to Victoria. Perfect proximity due to the nature of our visit being for LLHM. Despite travelling with a toddler they were incredibly welcoming, foldaway bed was available and there was enough space in the room despite the extra bed. Clean rooms and calm atmosphere downstairs in the reception and bar area. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. At breakfast, Kaushi went out of her way to ensure our daughter had a brilliant breakfast including freshly made pancakes.

It was so good for both the adults and the kiddos that are very picky eaters! It made our day start so much easier I can’t imagine anything that could be better!

Radek (4/5): - Location, helpul and very kind front desk and restaurant associates. Working lifts. Never waiting for breakfast for too long. Dirty rooms, mouldy showers, and very bad bartenders. Actually, there were no bartenders. They were evening table setters, waiters, and probably cleaners all at the same time. They had no idea how to make drinks. Also, cheap, disgusting wine — like something brought from Tesco. No water replenishment despite assurances from the housekeeping manager. Poor breakfast — always the same full English, no variations. Same ham, same cheese. You start thinking about eating your own foot after the fourth day. We waited 20 minutes for a cooked breakfast. The rooms require refurbishing and are very dated.

Agyemang-Oko (10/5): Great Location, Delicious Breakfast and Excellent Staffs - The rooms were very clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The hotel is conveniently located close to both Victoria Station and Victoria Coach Station, making it easy to get around. The staff were respectful, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Nothing everything was perfect

KellyDCork (4/5): First impressions good but customer service poor - Stayed for 3 nights in a booked family room. Arrived early so our room wasn't ready ( no issue) but 2 upgraded rooms were ready if we wanted to pay the extra cost. I agreed as we had early flight. The room was nice but had a constant loud noise from.the service extractor. Finishing at 12 at night restarting at 6am. The lady at reception dismissed it as noise from the underground system even though there was no noise on the street outside or any where else in the hotel . She also said they never had a similar complaint. We had to move at 11pm first night to get some sleep. I asked to move to a standard room and get the upgraded cost back. Our request was rejected due to availability however I was able to book online on numerous websites if needed which i did mention. We had to return to the upgraded room. As a gesture, I was returned 20% of the upgraded cost of the first night only , ridiculous considering we didn't use the room. The response from the hotel via email was the usual generic response " thanks for enjoying the food etc etc." but no addressing of the issue or the rip off. This is not Hilton standard. The only positive was the professional and friendly manner of the restaurant. bar and cleaning staff. The concierge also was a gentleman and very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Dont see us returning because of the disrespectful attitude of the management.

SobadIhadtopost (10/5): Great stay - We stayed 3 nights at Doubletree Hilton with my family of 2 kids, 2 parents and a grandparent. The stay was perfect, no issues of concern. Staff were attentive, room well kept, good services, and quiet. Breakfast was great and staff were fab, really appreciative of Belinda’s service. Location is perfect for exploring central London.

Vivien (9/5): Great location, comfy, clean and welcoming. - Clean, comfy welcoming hotel, perfectly situated for 2 theatres, Victoria tube and railway. We booked here to be very close to Wicked and Hamilton. It was a bit noisy in the eveing being close to the refuse area of the station, but for the cost of the hotel, this was a small price to pay.

Marina (9/5): Ottima base di partenza e arrivo nella City - Appena arrivati volevamo lasciare i bagagli, ma ci hanno sorpreso perché la camera era già pronta, abbiamo usufruito comunque di questo servizio prima di ripartire. Ottima la colazione sia per varietà che per qualità, anche i prodotti da bagno davvero buoni. Il concierge, i receptionists e Tutto lo Staff sono stati tutti molto gentili e sono stati veloci anche nel risolvere qualche piccolo inconveniente della camera. I burgher del servizio in camera erano speciali, avrei voluto scendere per testare il ristorante, ma mi ero fatta male al piede e non riuscivo a camminare, grazie a questo servizio, non solo non ho saltato la cena, ma era anche squisita. La comodità di essere accanto alla stazione un pochino si paga, la sera girano personaggi un po' particolari, come in tutte le stazioni ferroviaria del mondo o quasi. La vista dell'hotel non è delle migliori, ma in fondo mica si viene a Londra per stare in Hotel. Abbiamo trovato la cassaforte che non era stata resettata e la TV aveva qualche problema, ma sono stati tutti gentili e i problemi sono stati risolti.

melaniewE1514RK (10/5): Cozy hotel - This is a gem of a small hotel close to Victoria station, restaurants and easy walk to many tourist sites. Staff was super helpful with recommendations and assistance with our wheelchair. Katan the bartender was super friendly and his service impeccable and we enjoyed a drink to the end the day. We will certainly come back to the Double tree next time in London
