- Ruxandra (8/5): - Locatia foarte buna, acces usor catre Central Station, personalul din receptie foarte dragut si amabil. Pretul de aprox 483 euro pe noapte a fost prea mare si nejustificat. Camera primita nu a fost cea pentru care am facut rezervare, conform pozelor postate pe Booking la descrierea camerei. In poze camera era prezentata cu vedere la canal, in realitate camera era cu orientare la strada/tramvai. Vedere nu exista in realitate, deoarece in camera sunt 2 randuri de geamuri fixe, prinse in suruburi, care nu se pot deschide! Consider ca aceasta informatie este foarte importanta si lipseste din descrierea hotelui. Calatoresc des si este primul hotel in care ma cazez si in care nu se pot deschide geamurile camerei. In conditiile in care afara erau 27 de grade, iar in camera te sufocai si nu se putea aerisi sau ventila natural - Doar cu AC. Am reusit sa schimbam camera cu una la mandarda, la etajul 4 la care accesul era destul de dificil - 2 etaje se urcau pe niste scari foarte inguste. La micul dejun, partea calda se comanda separat, nu este bufet. Primesti oua la alegere si o felie mica de bacon.
- Jennifer (10/5): The perfect place to stay in Amsterdam. You will be so happy! - The location is central to so many things. The tram drops you off right in front of the Hotel. You are a 10 minute walk to the Rjiks museum. There are so many incredible places to eat and shop in the vicinity. There is an ETOS (pharmacy) right next door for any last minute needs. The staff is amazing! Add in the breakfast, it's worth it. The sitting room has a cappuccino machine that you can access 24 hours. This hotel is perfection! There was nothing I did not like. This will be the place I stay ANYTIME I go to Amsterdam.

Shower door did not close (a gap at bottom), hard to pump shower soap, cheap bed pillows, difficulty controlling temp in room, and a non smoking hotel with hotel staff & others standing just outside of the lobby open doors woth smoke rafting in. Not impressed for the exhorbidant price paid a "canal" view.

Coffee and pastries in the lounge a must since we could not check in until 3;00pm. Paid for breakfast but could not use on the last day due to flight change and was told we could not get a refund. Some Uber drivers would not pick up in front of the hotel. Elevator only to the second floor then had to use steep stairs to the fourth floor (room 408)

- Ruth (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel in pristine condition and nicely located - Beautiful hotel, exceptionally well maintained. The rooms were gorgeous and a generous size. The breakfast was fabulous - lots of options including freshly prepared eggs. Coffee/tea are available in a lounge all day. There were gorgeous huge fresh flower arrangements all over the common areas. It is located nicely on the canal and tram 2/17/24 area close to the art museums. The bathroom was beautiful and large, but the shower was not enclosed enough so water tended to escape when showering!

- elisa (8/5): Amsterdam una città viva e molto easy - Posizione centrale, molto comoda. Bello che sia situato praticamente su un canale, ciò crea un’atmosfera molto Amsterdam. Camera confortevole. Colazione buona, con possibilità di avere alcuni piatti cucinati al momento. L’acqua che scorreva nel Termosifone lo rendeva molto rumoroso. Alla notte era praticamente da spegnere. Si poteva comunque accendere l’impianto di condizionamento nella versione pompa di calore. Al pomeriggio era previsto un piccolo buffet di ristoro con bevande calde e qualche croissant/biscotti ecc. le bevande ok, per il resto(nei giorni in cui abbiamo soggiornato)era sempre finito tutto.

Spiral staircase leading to the room made movement of luggage difficult.
- Benigno (10/5): LO RECOMIENDO AMPLIAMENTE - La atención, el trato, la orientación, la amabilidad para darse a entender fue excelente, por parte del personal de la recepción y en el comedor,la habitación y las áreas del hotel estaban impecables y limpias, por otra parte el desayuno era muy bueno y abundante. Además, la ubicación es perfecta, al lado de los canales, cerca del centro y muy turístico. No tengo ninguna queja al respecto.

- Mark (10/5): Great location, very nice staff, excellent stay! - It’s a cool old building that’s clearly been renovated in the recent past and brought up to comfortable, modern standards. Lots of room, big windows. We had canal facing and were very happy we picked that room. The location is excellent. 5-15 min walk to most anything a traveler would want to see or do in Amsterdam. It’s right by a tram stop too so you have easy access to more distant sights too. It’s a littler on the louder side given the tram stop immediately below our window. But that’s a big city for you! You either get convenience or quiet, usually not both. It wasn’t too terrible but it’s something to consider.

The rooms are very comfortable, and the location is of course excellent. It is cozily decorated, highly recommended, and definitely a place to return to more often.

La rue, les conversations dans les chambres voisines etc. Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes surtout au niveau des salles de bains, et les fenêtre mériteraient un double vitrage efficace. Il faudrait également insonoriser la salle de bain.

- kimi893 (10/5): Great Location, Nice and Clean - Cute little hotel. Its located in a great location along the canal, walking distance to lots of places. We were on one of the top floors. The rooms are very spacious. We didn't really have a view, could only see rooftops. It was very quiet. They have an elevator but only to the 2nd floor on our side.(There is 2 buildings) we had to walk up 2 tight flights of stairs to our room. If you have mobility issues you might want to clarify with the hotel beforehand. There is a large step up into the tub to shower as well. It did rain while we were there and the hotel provided umbrellas which was great. We did not book the breakfast package. It was 22€ each for breakfast. Seemed a little pricey. We chose to walk around to find a place. It seems the city is limited for early risers, but you can find places. The room attendants seemed to be on a later time schedule to attend to the rooms. We got back to the room around 2:45 and they still had been to the room. They knocked at 3:30. We didn't really need it done, so we passed.

- C5709JRdeborahw (10/5): A Wonderful Place for an Anniversary! - We stayed at this hotel four nights for our 20th Anniversary, 26 Feb - 2 March. The hotel is fabulous, right on central Prinsengracht canal location, friendly staff, and historic charm. It's only 3-5 minutes' walk to Leidseplein from which several trams can take you to other locations. Right across the street is a local bakery, as well. The staff was stellar - SO friendly, accommodating, informative, and relaxed. The daily breakfast was more than filling for a day's excursion. One of the many lovely touches is the newly-renovated lounge with coffee and pastries and jazz music playing. It was open all day long. The staff, upon finding out it was our anniversary weekend, sent up a small bottle of champagne, two glasses, a card, and a small Delft kissing couple. What a delight! Because of the large rooms with huge windows, comfy bed, super cleanliness, and bright, sunny bathroom, it was a comfortable room. The staff and location have ensured we'll be staying here again. This was perfect for us and was a wonderful base from which to visit Amsterdam, a city we both love.

The walls of the property are thin. The breakfast was fine, but I’m not certain the cost is worth when you can get an amazing eggs Benedict just a short walk down the road. Nearly the same price.

Aufgrund der Lage kann es in den Abendstunden sowie in der Nacht etwas lauter werden. Die Zimmerreinigung hätte im Badezimmer etwas gründlicher sein können.
- sedef (10/5): - The location of the hotel is truly excellent. There is a tram stop just a 30-second walk away, so you can easily reach anywhere you want. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. The only downside is that, because it is very central, you can hear people enjoying themselves at night. However, we chose the hotel knowing this, so it didn’t bother us. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The breakfast is typical European style—simple but sufficient. Of course, it depends on your expectations, but we were satisfied. There is also a coffee machine in the waiting area and the coffee is quite delicious. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and were satisfied.Thank you☺️
