- BizTravel_and_more (10/5): Convenient Central Stay with Excellent Service and Easy Access to Shibuya - This is a very well-located hotel that makes getting around Tokyo easy. The shuttle to Meguro Station every 15 minutes is a big plus, and being just a 10-12 minute direct train ride from Shibuya, Shinagawa, Tokyo Central means you’re close to the action without being in the middle of the chaos. Haneda airport is 30 min by taxi and there is a bus service for a fee to Narita. The lounge stands out as a nice touch, especially with a dedicated vegetarian menu, simple, but thoughtful. There are few things o note: There is a nice garden around the hotel, kids aren’t allowed in the lounge after 5pm, and the swimming pool comes with a $15 fee. On the positive side, the staff really elevate the experience. They’re consistently friendly and attentive, from the front desk to housekeeping, which makes the stay feel welcoming and smooth. Thank you to Omi-san for making the stay special. Overall: A convenient, comfortable stay with great service and a few minor trade-offs.

- David (6/5): Disappointed with the overall rules that made me feel like we were not wanted at the hotel. - We have a disabled son who requires a wheelchair and walking frame to get around the hotel provided a room that was perfect for him bar the shower seat. The breakfast was good. The hotel advertised a pool. It has a pool but they wanted to charge us for the use of this which I don't think i have ever had in any hotel i have ever stayed in. I had to argue with the staff at the desk and ended up walking away as they took so long to do anything about this. Hugely disappointed. The only real area to sit and relax in the reception area is a lovely lounge area. Having 45 minutes to myself away from the kids to collect a delivery I sat in the lounge. Only to be told that if i wanted to sit there I must buy a drink even though we were guests at the hotel and staying for 7 nights. Again when you want some peace and quite to be told i must purchase a drink was again having to fight with daft rules put on by management. By the way there were 50% of the tables not occupied. The hotel advertised as disabled accessible. Rooms and restaurant great. Swimming pool inaccessible totally and the shuttle bus would be inaccessible to a wheelchair user if by themselves.

- northerngal33 (10/5): A breath of fresh air in the middle of Tokyo - The stay was totally unplanned when my flight home got cancelled and I had to scramble to find a hotel as mine was fully booked. I remember having stayed at this property years ago but it is not in a neighborhood close to where I like to eat or hang out. Still they had a room available and I booked, with somewhat low expectations. Room was much smaller than where I had been staying and AC was switched to heat only for the season(a personal pet peeve of mine). BUT, I looked out my window at the most beautiful canopy of trees, many maples just changing color. And all the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful (this was not my experience at the competing property where I had been staying). I cannot say enough about the staff to be honest as it was a breath of fresh air after my previous 3 days elsewhere. One organized a fan for my room and others gave me helpful tips or pleasant greetings. I really felt like my business mattered to them. Personally I feel like good customer service is decreasing in the world regardless of location so it was really nice to be treated so well. I walked through their garden and could not believe that I was in the middle of Tokyo! Would stay here again for sure.

- nicholasmD4097DQ (8/5): Quiet and serene hotel with shuttle access to Meguro Station - I booked a Superior room as a Titanium member. Was advised on check in I was upgraded to a Deluxe room. Nothing significant but a category upgrade is an upgrade. I originally took the subway to Shirokanedai to check in however the hotel operates a free shuttle to the eastern entrance of the JR Merguro Station every 15 minutes. There is no signage in the area, simply wait for the shuttle with Sheraton livery to pull up to the taxi pickup area. There is also a shuttle to Shinagawa Station that only operates in the morning. Choices for welcome benefit included points, fragrance, or breakfast. I elected for breakfast so that I could try the restaurants as well as the club lounge. The room itself was pretty nice, roomy, and clean. The halls outside are a bit dated however I still enjoyed the stay. The hotel is in a quiet area east of Shirokaneda Station. There is not much closely, not even a convenience store. You will have to rely on the shuttle or subway to get to the other areas of Tokyo. I liked the central garden area and greenery around the hotel. I think this is nice if you're looking for a quiet retreat when done with the busier areas of Tokyo. This hotel also seems to be one of the better redemption possibilities for points in Tokyo. I checked out breakfast at Shisen, Cafe California, and the club lounge. Shisen features the full breakfast buffet experience and is my recommendation if you are hungry and want the most options. Cafe California features a simple prefixed menu of Japanese or American. The club lounge features a pared-down version of what you may find at Shisen. It's a decent option if you're not as hungry or there's a long line at Shisen. I also checked out cocktail time at the club lounge in the evening. There were some decent hot options for a light meal in the evening. I recall the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay featured a much more robust spread in the evening. Overall I had a pretty nice stay. I think that there are newer and more convenient options for upscale hotels in Tokyo however I was not disappointed to stay here. The inclusion of the free shuttle to Meguro Station really makes it so I can consider staying again. A decent nightly rate or points redemption opportunity would also help make the decision simple.
- Tal (10/5): Amazing hotel - The hotel is great, the rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is amazing, and helped us with every request. Breakfast is awesome. Really recommend. The location is a bit off, but the hotel offers shuttles for 2 main train stations on the JY Yamanote Line. The air conditioner in our room wasn’t strong enough for us, but the staff brought us a fan in addition, it helped.

There was a popping noise on our window periodically. Sounded like large insects or birds hitting the window. But no insects. I am guessing this is the sound of heat pressure from the hot weather on the windows. And it did make sleeping difficult. Yes, it is that loud.

Le check in est prévu pour 15h maximum mais nous n’avons eu les 3 chambres que nous avions réservées qu’ après 17 h30 Nous n’avions qu’une seule nuit dans cette hôtel car nous y sommes allé pour être plus proche d’un RDV le soir même du check in. Ce retard de presque 3 heures sur chaque chambre nous a causé du tort pour notre RDV. Il me parait inconcevable d’avoir un tel service dans un hôtel 5 étoiles sachant que les membres du personnel ne se sont pas excusés pour ce retard. En plus de ce retard, le personnel a refusé de nous laisser quelques heures en plus le lendemain pour notre check out alors même que nous avions eu 9 heures cumulées sur les 3 chambres qui ont été payées et non consommées c’est du vol littéralement
- dxbdoc (10/5): Dated hotel with efficiency - The hotel is an old one, but the service is very good. The airport limousine stops here, and a complimentary shuttle is available at fixed times to Shinagawa Station. The hotel was running at full capacity, so we did not get any upgrade, as seems to be the norm in Japan nowadays. The club lounge was not bad. The Marriott app has a wonderful feature that allows you to chat with the front desk and discuss any matters, which is extremely useful.
- Mr_AK_82 (4/5): Dated Hotel in an Uninspiring Location - We stayed at Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo and were overall underwhelmed by the experience. The room felt dated, with worn-out carpet and a bathroom that clearly hadn’t been updated in a long time. While the balcony was a nice spot to relax, it didn’t make up for the tired condition of the room. The food options were just okay, and the front desk staff were extremely slow—check-in and inquiries took far longer than expected. The location wasn’t ideal either, especially if you're hoping to be closer to Tokyo's key attractions or vibrant neighborhoods. Unfortunately, we wouldn't choose to stay here again. There are better options in Tokyo at this price point.
- golouis99 (8/5): Excellent tourist hotel - This is a good tourist hotel. Rooms very comfortable with all the usual amenities one would expect. Everything was clean and tidy. Each day the room was cleaned fesh toiletries and tea and coffee were provided. The staff were always smiling and friendly. The lounges and public areas were spacious and appealing. Breakfast in the dining room was very varied and more than ample. Would stay here again.

- steveamcb (10/5): My Eternal Home in Tokyo - Always very content at this peaceful hotel in Tokyo. Rooms super comfortable and club lounge one of the very best I've experienced. I would like to make special mention of a few staff. Ms Naing, one of the concierges from Myanmar, is very engaging and helpful. Also on the front desk Mr Amar and Mr Karki were also very accommodating. Thank you. I have seen a few reports about worn carpets and smoking smells , but no hotel can be 100% perfect. Actually I am very entice to smoke and I seriously don't think it's bad at all here. I stumbled across the Main Bar in the basement - quite nice but not well advertised. Very disappointed that since my visit last year the Bamboo Lounge is still not open every evening. I used to love relaxing there and often invited business acquaintances over for a drink whilst admiring the beautiful gardens lit up at night. I hope management will reconsider. Once again thank you and look forward to spending my first ever family Christmas in Tokyo with you this coming December ! Arigato Gozaimasu & Sayonara!

- fandangohawaii (6/5): It’s OK but smells like cigarettes - Pros: - staff is amazing as expected - convenient free shuttle bus to meguro and shinagawa station (morning only) - quiet residential area with conveniences nearby including a great coin laundry if you are doing a long stay - beautiful gardens onsite - gorgeous lobby bar overlooking gardens CONS - the rooms are pretty tired and in dire need of an upgrade. coffee stains on walls, musty smells of an old hotel, old furniture- pretty bad for what you are paying. - #1 con- cigarette smells! pretty bad throughout the hotel. we had to change rooms due to tobacco smells coming thru the air conditioning vents. there is an air cleaner in each room but we had to ask the filter to be cleaned daily as it would turn orange after a day. if you are sensitive to smoke smells then don’t stay here. - some mold in the shower areas - this is a busy business/event/family hotel - lots of people - gym is so so. you have to pay to use the pool/hot tub. if they renovate the rooms we would consider another stay. we used points as tokyo hotels have become very expensive. they tried to fix the cigarette smells coming thru the vent but there are ALOT of smoking guests in this hotel and smoking rooms in the lobby and event areas:(
- Warol (4/5): Disappointing - We checked in around 6:30 PM. The gentleman at the check-in desk was not very friendly and came across as quite directive. Upon entering our room, there was a strange and unpleasant odor. The rooms are outdated and definitely in need of renovation. There were no power outlets suitable for EU plugs. However, the room service staff was kind enough to provide us with an adapter. In the evening, I enjoyed a drink at the hotel café downstairs and was able to smoke on the spot, which was nice. All in all, considering the price and the level of service, I found the amount I paid to be quite excessive and unnecessary. They did not live up to the Marriott name. I am deeply disappointed.
- mauijim96761 (10/5): Relaxing birthday trip - I stayed at the Sheraton Miyako hotel over my birthday weekend and had a truly relaxing & enjoyable experience. My room on the 6th floor was so quiet and the beds were very comfortable. I upgraded to club level access at check-in and it was worth it. Their shuttle to Meguro station made it so easy to explore all over Tokyo. The service from time of arrival to my departure was exceptional. Will definitely be back again.

- Excursion23015909717 (2/5): Totally disappointed - Terrible hotel even by local standards. Worn out carpet Very Noisy . As a Marriott Ambassador I would never stay here again . In fact three of us moved hotels to the Westin for the remaining 4 nights The worst part was getting it a 0300 in the Am. If you want the buffet you have to get down before 1000 am. Not a huge deal but I went at 0945 and was told that I had to wait and they close at 1000. ok. Not a big deal but I sat there until 0945 then was told that well we still close at 1000. plenty of open tables. Etc. Just I have to wait. Hummmm. Sounds like Bs to me so I went to the California and sat some more. For a table that was open the entire time I was waiting and then told ok. Hurry up. We close in 30 min This is not a cheap hotel by any stretch but I will pay more at the Westin and get service I’m used to when staying in the road 200+ nights a year at Marriott’s .

- jeremyl181 (10/5): Sheraton CLUB Lounge Beats All in the U.S. - 4/24/2025 - Enjoyed to stay here, especially complimentary access of the Sheraton CLUB Lounge from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily for any Marriott Elite members (Platinum and above) Noticed that there is a big difference between Asia and the U.S. for the Club Lounge's quality on food and drinks. This is one of the 30 Marriott brand hotels in Tokyo, Japan. Surprisly, the Breakfast Service and Bar Time Service are better than The Ritz-Carlton's in the U.S. I had experience in 2022, e.g., there are seven hot items here while only two at The Ritz -Carlton's with an entrance access fee from $250 to $400 per guestroom. Enjoy viewing large beautiful and lush Japanese gardens with waterfalls and ponds. Accessing a swimming pool will be charged 3000 yen per visit (Platinum & Titanium members 1500 yen and ambassador for free!) All staff I met are extremely friendly or treat their guests like VIPs. The bed and cover sheets or linens are comfortable - had a nice sleep last night. You will like a pre-heated Toto Whaslet Biden in your stateroom. The hotel offers a complementry shuttle service to a JR line Shinagawa subway station (品川), and you can walk to a nearby subway station Shirokanrdai (白金台）just next to the University of Tokyo in a few minutes. The hotel also followes an old tradition to deliver a daily newspaper to a guestroom free of charge. - GSTraveller200 (8/5): A Better Experience than I Thought Going In - Some of the reviews regarding the Sheraton Miyako are mixed. However, we found our recent stay very enjoyable. While the hotel isn’t right on the main tourist route, the hotel is close enough and provides decent access to public transportation via shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes. The staff at the hotel are friendly and accommodating. The hotel’s executive lounge is a bit cramped at times given its size relative to the overall hotel but it still provides a nice escape throughout the day. We met some friends in the hotel’s lobby bar. It was kind of surprising as the lounge closed at 7 and we needed to find somewhere else to visit as access to the executive lounge is tightly controlled. I would definitely consider staying at the Sheraton Miyako again. I liked the hotel’s quiet ambience and the price was reasonable for a full service Marriott property in Tokyo. We also liked our room which seemed recently remodeled.
- O6612EGjl (10/5): Great Location for business and leisure - It is my second time staying with Sheraton Miyako and I just love the location. It is conveniently situated near the Shinakawa station (with Shinkansen connection) and Shirokanedai-Takanawa station (which is mostly flat and easy to walk with luggage). Very important for me is that the hotel provides shuttle to these station and if you arrive in the evening, the shuttle will pick you up at the Meguro station. It is a shame that the hotel doesn't give prior information on these and in my first visit, I lugged my baggage from the Shirokanedai station (because I followed google map recommendation) and that was not as easy - OK, it was easy but could have been easier via the Shirokanedai-Takanawa station. Anyways, the shuttle runs frequently so it is always good to take the shuttle if you have a few luggages.
- archanavohra (8/5): Good stay during Sakura bloom - I stayed at this hotel for about a week while in Tokyo - and the place was bustling - possibly because of the Sakura season. We arrived early so had to wait for the room to be assigned so decided to step out leaving our baggage at the bell desk - whose staff was very attentive. Infact while standing at the porch, I also realised the staff was super gracious and were actually running to the hotel entry to fetch cabs for guests, since it was raining. The room was small - super clean - was a tad disappointed that they did not offer the upgrade that was part of the Mariott stay eligibility. Dinner at Shishen was exceptional and so was the room service - the schezwan noodles, shanghai dumplings and the king prawn with peppers were exceptional. Breakfast at the club was basic with scrambled eggs, bacon and muffins. Would have been good to have eggs on order promptly displayed since we realised much later that was an option. The lobby has a nice restaurant with a great view and we spent time there to grab a coffee - did find the staff there a tad rude which was not the case at the Chinese restaurant or anywhere else. As we sat down, the gentleman managing the area seemed eager to stress that we had to order something - quickly. Rest of the stay was great - the entrance to the hotel feels like it needs some renovation but the location and access are nice.

- Eaton_Out (10/5): Excellent - This is an older hotel that was undergoing renovations when we visited. We were not affected by the construction which was on the 8th floor when we visited. Be aware that some floors do not have air conditioning, only heat. We are Bonvoy Gold and put on 4 with no AC. Management politely moved us to 9 which has AC and has been recently remodeled. It is unclear which floors have AC. Our room was extremely large and well-appointed. We had a tub and shower in the same wet room. The enclosed toilet had a heated seat, bidet, and auto flush. TV was virtually non-existent unless you had access to your own Netflix or other pay TV account. Even the news on the international setting had Japanese voice-over English which was useless to us. The staff outdid themselves waiting on us hand and foot. Kudos to staff and management.

Not centrally located, but the frequent shuttle bus drops you at two station locations, which was really useful. The furnishings are dated, but well maintained. We had a problem with aircon which took a little negotiating to get fixed, but once attended to we were fine. The internal courtyard garden is beautiful and a nice place to wander. Quite a pleasant surprise in a city location

- Winnine (4/5): I had better experience at Sheratons elsewhere. - Staffs are very friendly. Otherwise I would have given it just one star. Here’s why: I’ve never been to a hotel that charges extra fee for swimming pool. (I don’t know, maybe it’s a Japanese thing?) If you are going to charge extra fee for swimming pool, you should mention it upfront in the reservation process like you mention parking fee. The executive lounge is so tiny that it’s always overcrowded. I was lucky enough to squeeze by but the group right behind me was turned away. My room had a TV that’s slightly bigger than a computer monitor. Not the kind of standard expected from a Sheraton. Don’t expect much recognition for your loyalty if you are an elite member. I’m a lifetime titanium member. To be given a room on the 4th floor of a 12 story tower made me feel as if I’m less appreciated because I’m paying by points. There’s nothing within 10 minute walking distance from the hotel. They hotel provides shuttle buses which makes it a little bit easier.
- Blasterchris (8/5): Staff were great. - Staff were great from initial contact to everyone we met at the hotel. It's out of the centre but a major advantage if you are flying into Haneda and want to reduce the travel time. We loved the hotel and the below is for the management to read. The only thing that was shocking was the state of the pillows in the bedroom. Old lumpy and things you would chuck out of your own house years ago. Management must have told cleaning staff not to replace as there was no excuse for trying to save costs on such an important part of anyone's stay. I was speechless when I saw them and imagine it's maybe a culture where people don't like to complain. Being a Brit and wanting a great night's sleep I called reception and asked for 4 new pillows and they were brought up very quickly. I have added this about the pillows so management can make sure every room is checked as old lumpy pillows shouldn't be found in even a 1 star hotel.

Tried to order room service after busy business day and nothing available, not even a sandwich!!! Definitely NOT suitable for international travellers balancing business meetings and personal subsistence. Very unfriendly and in accommodating staff. Appreciating its Japan’s, but level of English spoken VERY poor. Unlikely to stay here again

- MrPhileasF (8/5): Great hotel with a pool and a nice club lounge - Sheraton Miyako Tokyo is about a 40-minute ride on public transport from Tokyo's Haneda airport, HND, and there is a complimentary shuttle that runs from Shinagawa, and Meguro train stations. However, due to the shuttle schedules, it might be easier to take a short taxi ride between the station and the hotel. The hotel is a little dated but undergoing renovation currently. There are several restaurants onsite and plenty around the hotel if you fancy something else. For sightseeing and getting around town, you either take the shuttle to the train station or a short walk to the metro station. On the lower level is the indoor pool and a small gym. Do keep in mind that they charge for pool access unless you are a Bonvoy ambassador. The hotel also has a great club lounge with excellent breakfast and evening food. The rooms that haven't been renovated are a little dated but perfectly fine. However, if you are an elite members they try to allocate you a renovated room. The hotel has both shopping and restaurants close by as well as good transport links, so a good choice for exploring town.

- HarryC208 (4/5): 3 Stars Posing As 5 - Simply not a 5 star hotel If you are expecting it to be 5 star quality, think again. From the start it failed. Slow service and bad English (and Japanese according to my gf) meant a painful checkin. Horribly gloomy interiors. The corridor to the room reminded me of a nuclear bunker. A tiny room with a queen sized bed and a bathroom that looked like somewhere you might end your life in. Are the facilities better? Well the gym was abysmal, almost all cardio, no floor matts and technogym equipment from the Meiji Restoration. And I was deeply shocked when the lady charged me as a hotel guest 3000JPY for using it! First time ever having this in a supposedly top hotel. They do have an ok indoor pool however if you want to swim. Breakfast was actually tolerable, nothing great but better vs the rest of this car crash of a hotel. And the price was about 375usd per night per room, so good for five stars except it is more like a three star airport hotel.
