- Subahtra (10/5): Perfect 5-star Hotel - Definitely a 5-star hotel with its excellent service and cleanliness. I even received a yummy chocolate cake and some sweets in my room as it was my birthday weekend. The hotel is relatively close to all the malls and cafes near KLCC. I had no problem with my stay from check in to check-out. Loved it. Will visit again.
- Michael (8/5): - We had a room for 2 adults and 2 children. The two beds provided were inadequate. Both beds were large single beds. We only had two nights stay at the hotel at the end of our two weeks holiday, so I did not want to waste time and complain etc etc, as we had a lot to do before our departure to the UK. But for the two children it wasn’t so bad. But for two adults it was a tight squeeze. When booking a room at this calibre of hotel I would expect that everyone can get a good nights sleep. For my wife and I this was not possible. The hotel was very nice and mostly we were happy, but this sleeping arrangement was a let down which will be hard to forget thus adding a bad memory to the end of our holiday in Malaysia. This was the 4th hotel over the two weeks. None of the others had these small bed arrangements.
- Danny (6/5): - The room itself was fantastic however we booked for a family of 4 and the bedsides were two large singles so it was very uncomfortable. My kids are 9 and 7 so my wife and I had to take a child each and we struggled to sleep as it was so uncomfortable. When you book for a family of 4 you’d expect to have at least two double beds.

Food at the main restaurant was excellent but one small point was dietary restrictions were not labeled as wife is gluten free. Otherwise sensational. Location was also good close to Petronas and walking distance to a shopping mall with cheaper food options and a supermarket.

- Sam (10/5): Stop off on our trip - We had a lovely stay at the Intercontinental, we got off the plane and went straight to the hotel and enjoyed the comfort of the much needed facilities. We had 2 days to unwind and acclimatise to the time zone on our way to Bali and this was the perfect place to do it

Their staff was very prompt and handled the issues but the property definitely does not have a 5 or even a 4 star rating. Again, staff outstanding, property is borderline avoid altogether.

- Liza (10/5): Excellent hotel but ‘inconsiderate neighbours’ - This hotel has excellent service. Request for extra towel & bedding was attended to quickly even though we checked in after midnight. Unfortunately the walls are thin. The people in the room diagonally to us were talking so loudly that we could hear them at 3am. Someone must be smoking along the corridor & we could smell it near the door area. Thankfully it did not permeate throughout the room. I would come back again but hopefully we have more considerate neighbours.

Our room was facing an apartment complex where people were hang drying their clothes on their balconies. Not aesthetic at all. Staff was wonderful and they made it feel better than what this place was.

The concierge, Iqbal, was so helpful when my plane was delayed and I had to cancel my tour. He made sure I still got to see the sights by recommending and procuring me a ticket for the KL Hop on - Hop off bus which was a perfect way to see the city. I also recommend this hotel for its large room and amenities. There was a scale in my room! So nice to have. Also the pool was wonderful and had an amazing view as it was surrounded by the tall buildings of the city. Emmy at the pool was so helpful and kind. If you are looking for a hotel. This is the one for your stay in Kuala Lumpur!

- Xiao (8/5): - The hotel is located at a convenient place close to two MRT stations and two shopping centers. In general, the hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. My room was assigned to be next to the elevators. So, it is quite noisy to hear the elevators going up and down. The hotel should take some actions to reduce the noise. I heard the same complain from my friend whose room was also assigned next to the elevators. The hotel's breakfast has good varieties. However, several days during our stay, the breakfast was a quite messy disaster with so many people in the dinning area and a long line waiting outside. The hotel staffs were helpless and overwhelmed. The hotel management should foresee this when giving promotions to attract guests.

- HUNG (8/5): - I stayed in the IHG hotel in Sanya, China many years ago. I had a great experience there. I booked IHG Kuala Lumpur hoping for the same. However, I was a bit disappointed. The hotel design was quite outdated. The room was wet with high humidity. The bedding felt wet, the paper felt soft and wet. The large bathroom had a small shower, the vanity was old and had stains and broken decor. The lighting was inadequate. I hope an interior overhaul is underway.

I had extra charges to pay due to rises in malaysian tax which i was very unhappy about as i paid my fees for the nights and no more charges should have been made.
