• Lightfoot (4/5): - Felt very unsafe and the doors didn’t lock to our room. When we arrived they didn’t receive our booking and didn’t know we were coming. Had to pay in cash at check in, instead of card, when I had already given all my card details already because their card machine broke. Facilities were very run down and not like the photos. The staff were accommodating to us but lots of hassle and not worth the price.

• Alice (1/5): nul . c'est honteux de proposer ces logements insalubres - je suis venue après 23h suite à un retard que j'ai annoncé lors de ma réservation. Il m'a été indiquée un supplément de 10 euros . arrivée sur place, l'accueil me réclame 20 eur que j'ai réglé seance tenante pourtant, j'ai passé la nuit sur un tabouret et non une chaise. Résultat des courbatures le lendemain. je réclame une facture que je n'ai pas à ce jour. A fuirrrr!

• Veronica (6/5): If you can’t find anything, this is your best chance - It was near the city center. It was loud due to the traffic. Good if you can’t find anything. Can be a little cleaner. Staff was nice. I didn’t trust the kitchen lol but not best for solo women travelers. I stayed but wouldn’t come back lol Can be cleaner, had the basics, staff was nice, doors were loud, blankets can be washed properly. More dusting can help

As a Muslim, I cannot accept being placed in such an environment. The toilets were constantly dirty, and hygiene standards were not respected at all. This experience does not reflect what was advertised on Booking, and I feel misled as a customer. For these reasons, I kindly request a full refund for my stay. If my request is ignored, I will be forced to escalate this matter to Booking’s customer service and leave a detailed public review to warn other travelers. Povlečení a deky jsou žluté, ošklivé, musela jsem si na to dát svoje osobní abych na tu postel vůbec mohla lehnout… Pokoj neodpovídající obrazku. Za koupelnu vubec mlčím… přišlo mi ze jsem v Africe nekde na neobydleném ostrově A za tohle tak velkou částku jsem zaplatila za několik hodin ubytování? Ještě i poplatek 10 eur ze jsem měla check in mimo jejich provozní dobu. Za takový komfort bych vůbec žádné peníze nedávala

Roma'da mecburiyet halinde kalınabilecek yer olmakla birlikte, çok eski, bakımsız ve çok da temiz değil. İlan edilen fiyattan 10 Euro fazla para istendi. Ayrıca şampuan, havlu, klima kumandası vs. için ekstra para istendi. Fırsatçı bir işletme hissi verdi.

• Raihan (1/5): I think the person who work in reservation he needs to stop taking extra money which is not right he - I like the bed. They took 10 euro more just because i check in late. Also they took 2 euro for towel .That was my very first bad experience with that Roman place.my question if they take money for late check in so why they didn't write on there website.
• Maimone (7/5): Adequate for sleeping and accessing the large city - Honestly not as bad as I thought it would be given other reviews. Rome is a huge city, it was my first time here, so I really only needed a place to sleep at night, and this room was perfectly adequate. The staff were very helpful and kind. You get what you pay for truly. The only thing is the location isn’t awesome but I would’ve known that if I did more research- but still I never felt unsafe. Very close to many bus/train/tram stops, so it’s very accessible. It is CASH ONLY though for check in which I didn’t know (was no issue after).

• Esther (3/5): Poor - I am currently staying at Roman Place Room on the 1st floor with my daughter. This is our second night. While I appreciate the clean bathroom and comfortable bed, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with some aspects of the stay: 1. **Late Check-in Fee:** I was charged an extra fee for arriving after 10 PM, which was unexpected and not clearly communicated at the time of booking. 2. **Lack of Towels:** Upon arrival, the room had no towels. I messaged the property, and towels were delivered the next morning at 7 AM — which was inconvenient. 3. **Payment Confusion:** I paid for the room using my card and received a receipt. I also received the key and have been staying here without issue. However, I received a message from Booking.com stating that my card was declined. This is confusing and concerning, as I have proof of payment. Please investigate this payment issue and confirm that everything is in order. I would also appreciate it if you could review the handling of late check-in and the towel situation, as it affected our overall experience. Thank you for your attention to these matters. Supermarket nearby Wifi was working fine. Bathroom needs some renovation You have to pay for towels The heating was not working but there was a portable fan to replace it.

The room was extremely basic; the furniture looked as if picked from the streets (not good ones of course), the window had no curtain, no towels, or any other amenities provided. It was borderline clean. We moved to another place the next day.

• Pamella (1/5): Unpleasant. - I liked having a place to sleep, but if I had more money I would have gone somewhere else. Horrible shower. Broken and clogged shower !! There was no hot water. When we managed to heat the water it was super hot and after 30 seconds it was super cold again. We sent messages to employee, but nothing was done. In other words, we took a shower every day with difficulty and cold ! In addition, the bedding looked dirty.

The welcome was terrible, it is not clean, extremely dirty, you might even feel nauseous, impossible to sleep, and when you report a problem, they don't address it. They told me to leave if I wanted, refused a refund, and even shouted at me; their behavior was unprofessional. I really do not recommend it. It completely ruined my trip to Rome. I'd prefer sleeping outside in Rome than reserving a room here!
