- Tanisha (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay at this property, the room was large, clean and had everything you need! If I had known i was going to love it so much I would have extended my stay here. There is good transport connections around this property too but no sights, it's mainly residential which was nice to be in the quiet for a little while. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, honestly highly recommend if you've been travelling a while and need some peace and quiet but still able to access many areas

- Verified traveler (6/5): 最も清潔な部屋ではないが、機能は十分だ - 部屋に着いてチェックインした時、部屋の清潔さに驚きました。 前の宿泊客の残骸が、洗面台の中や下に髪の毛、床の埃、スナック菓子の包み紙の破片、テーブルの上の髪の毛、そしてシャワールーム（天井も含め）に髪の毛（陰毛）が落ちていました。ゴミは捨てられ、掃除機もコンセントに差し込まれていたのに、なぜそんなことになったのか全く分かりません。とにかく、部屋に着いてまず最初にしたのは全てを掃除することで、これは本当に疲れる作業で、東京でのスケジュールが狂ってしまいました。それ以外は、周辺は静かで、部屋は広々としており、チェックイン手続きも迅速でした。

It was an okay space, not very clean, but spacious. We showed up 15 minutes before check in and were asked to wait outside until 3 with our baggage even though our room was ready.

A bit difficult to get help from staff, but we figured things out on our own. Just a heads up, even though the name has HOTEL in it, they do not (or in our experience), have luggage delivery services. Klook did not operate in their area as well, so we ended up going to 711

But check in counter (staff not overly helpful, but not rude) was a long way from actual rooms, which were through a maze at the back of the building. Good for the price.

Suggested to do online check in. Quite near to subway station, but the pedestrian is a bit rough from the subway station to the hotel. Surrounded by supermarket (7-11 & AEON at the cross section, and 2 local supermarket beside the premises) and also restaurants (Thai, Indian, European, Tully's Coffee, and Japanese-offcourse). 1 minute walk to 24 hours coin laundry. Travellers with heavy luggages should learn the subway station map of each transit station for an elevator or escalator.

The Santoku is a little grocery store that's literally adjacent to the building, and everything else is actually within a good distance for walking too. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Would stay here again, but be aware that the coin dryer is not as efficient as those in North America and can take several hours to dry clothes. It's best to hang dry in sunny weather.

- Iluka (4/5): - Rhodes Kagurazaka was average. It was fine as a place to sleep and the toilets, showers and beds were good and clean but the place has no bowls/ cutlery to speak of and communal areas were non existent. There was a corridor with a shelf and some seats but that was it. The majority of guests seem to be middle aged asian men who for the most part keep to themselves. The hostel is about a 10-20 minute walk from the various train stations and it's a fairly quiet area from what I saw. Not a super convenient spot for sightseeing Tokyo but if you're switched on it's workable. Check in and out is done via an ipad in the reception. So that could be convenient if you are checking in late. Nice and cheap so all in all I wouldn't choose to come back but it wasn't a bad experience.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great hotel! - Comfy plus beds! Hassle free everything you could want and need stayed 6 nights and ate locally most nights. Great local neighbourhood, konbini short walk away and restaurants delicious! Perfect location to Oedo line.
- Barbara (8/5): - The room was spacious by Tokyo standards. It had everything I needed for a month—including a fridge, stove, microwave, hotpot, washer, basic dishes and pots. The staff is very friendly. The only drawback is the noise caused by guests staying in the dormitory. They often congregated in the outside common area late at night and talked loudly until the early morning hours. The courtyard makes it echo, so they probably weren’t aware they were causing an inconvenience to others. The staff tried to address the issue with signs, but since the area is not monitored at night, it wasn’t enforced. Ear plugs are a must.

- UnwantedUserName (6/5): Budget hotel in residential neighbourhood - It's a budget hotel, minimal service. We only saw the front desk staff once during our week long stay. They were reachable by phone though so that's a plus. The unit we rented was a bit cramped for 3 people but it did come as advertised with a stove top, microwave and sink. Just nowhere to sit down and take advantage of it. There was also an in unit washing machine which was handy. the neighbourhood is residential with a convenience store on one side and a small produce market on the other. There were a couple restaurants nearby as well as a 7-11. There were two subway lines nearby, one a 5 minute walk (Tohei line) the other a 10 minute walk. Though we enjoyed our stay it was very bare bones minimalist so as long as you're prepared for that it will do the trick. Great for budget minded travelers.

- Zokbah (8/5): A nice hide out - Tucked on the fringe of Shinjuku but 10 mins walk to Metro station, really convenient. 15 mins walk also to an area where you will find eateries and other amenities such as supermarket etc. Outside the hotel flank both sides a convenience store and a small supermarket that provides you with the necessities. Opposite there is an Italian restaurant, and a handful of other restaurants. Kagurazaka is a residential area, therefore you will find things cheaper than central Tokyo. It's quiet and very peaceful unlike Shinjuku at all. Family of 3 adults and 1 child, we took the apartment., though its a little cramp as they provide a queen size a d a pull man. The room is kind of awkward though. However, it comes with a good shower and water pressure, warm toilet seat, cooker hob and hood, heater. Washing machine with washing powder and lots of clothes hanger but no hook on the walls. Rooms were clean. Enjoyed our stay there and would love to come back again. Staff are very pleasant and courteous, and helpful. Check in strictly after 2pm.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - All brand new flat, fully equiped! A bit small for three persons but even the sofabed was comfortable.
- EllaOco (10/5): Loved it! - It was our first time in Japan and Rhodes Kagurazaka Hotel, located in a safe and quiet neighbourhood and a mere 5-minute walk from the Kagurazaka station, was the perfect place to stay. Place was well-kept, clean, organized. There was laundry powder for doing launders and complete kitchen utensils and cooking ware. Keys were in the room when we arrived at close to midnight and we simply had to walk in. Upon check out we also simply had to leave room keys inside the room and left quietly. Receptionist was very helpful with directions and other concerns of first-time travelers to Japan who can’t speak Japanese. There are 7-11s and other convenience stores nearby, coffee shops and other restaurants. We almost lived like locals! We had a blast.
