• Carlid (10/5): Great choice for Rome - Although the hotel is a bit out of the historical centre of Rome, it is still in a great area and easy to reach by public transport with a train line and multiple bus stops right outside the door. There are a few conveniently located shops, pharmacy, coffee shop and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and the service was friendly and very helpful. We stayed in a Superior Room (which I booked on a Travelzoo experience). It was a lovely large room with a small seating area and large bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows and a very large television (which was quite a surprise). The bathroom had all the conveniences I could ask for, with lovely products like handwash, body/hand lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, shower cap, vanity set, shaving set and a really good hairdryer. The room was a little bit noisy the first night from road traffic, but did not distract from a good nights sleep and the next 2 nights there was no noise. We were right across from the lifts and heard nothing in our room. Breakfast had an interesting selection of options in the hot section, which I have not found in other international hotels, such as dumplings, rice, mixed veg together with the normal hot and continental offerings. It also offered a great array of local cakes/sweet treats, hot drinks and juices. There was even a really good selection of free from products available. It was my birthday during our stay and on return that evening we found a lovely presented small birthday cake in our room for me. Such a thoughtful and lovely touch, which just contributed to my day and our stay. I will definitely recommend staying here and would be very happy for a return visit.

• ProVacationer1414 (8/5): A Nice Home Base for Exploring Rome! 🇮🇹🍝🍷 - We stayed at the Radisson Blu GHR Hotel for two nights in March 2025 as part of our Globus tour. While our time in the city was short, this hotel served as a friendly and convenient home base for our Roman adventures. Accommodations: The rooms were on the smaller side, but they certainly served their purpose. Since we spent the vast majority of our time out and about exploring the city, we didn't need much more than a clean, comfortable place to rest. While our room didn't have a fantastic view, we really appreciated the small touches, like the included toiletries that were a nice convenience to have on hand. Amenities & Service: The staff at the Radisson Blu GHR was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of the property is definitely the rooftop bar. It offers some lovely views of the surrounding area and is a great spot to unwind with a drink after a long day of sightseeing. Location & Tour Convenience: Staying here as part of a tour worked out well. It was a reliable spot to regroup before heading out to see the iconic sights of Rome. If you’re looking for a hotel where the service is great and you don't plan on spending all day in your room, this is a solid choice. Overall: It was a pleasant stay with a wonderful team. While the rooms are cozy, the hospitality and the rooftop views make it a great pick for travelers who want to be in the heart of the action! 🇮🇹🍷

The rooms were beautifully designed, comfortable, and impeccably clean, offering a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The breakfast was truly outstanding, served in a quiet area with an impressive variety of high‑quality options that made every morning a pleasure. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and highly professional, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, a fantastic stay that I would happily recommend.

We had Christmas Eve dinner in Le Roof restaurant - food was gorgeous and service was fabulous. Really nice desserts and ambience in the taberna romana, breakfast really nice, staff very helpful. Very dedicated front office, reservation and F&B team. Creme de la creme of hospitality!!!
• chelchia (6/5): Chaotic breakfast with big groups - The hotel is an old renovated hotel building. They have some steps of stairs leading to the elevator, although they built ramps, it was still a hassle for our big luggages. The elevators were cramped so we had to take turns, only fitting 2 medium size luggages, 2 cabin size luggages, and 2 people in one go. I stayed for 2 nights. The first breakfast was chaotic. We went down at 7.10 am and it was so crowded. People were scrambling to get seats, some foods took a long time to be refilled. We even had to use paper cups for our coffee and wooden cutleries instead of silverwares. We had to rush because people were waiting for the tables. The 2nd breakfast was more peaceful, the groups were gone and finally we had a time to savor the meal.
• N3297WPpeterh (8/5): A good hotel but a little far out - We stayed here for 3 nights and whilst the hotel was very good it doesn't quite warrant 5 stars in any area. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable but the noise from the road, and from the corridors is too loud. They did change our room from the second floor to the sixth and this eliminated the external problem. The service at breakfast was poor and they actually ran out of crockery - substituting paper cups and also suggesting we used these cups for yoghurt as they had no more bowls. The location is good in that it is right next to a metro station but it does mean you cannot easily walk to any of the sites. Apparently, they do offer a shuttle service to the centre but this is not well advertised and we only found out about it when checking out.

Our room was spacious & clean with complimentary water & toiletries ( including hairdryer & fridge) we had breakfast to go on the first morning as we were up early fir our first tour & we had breakfast the 2nd morning which was delicious. My only issue was we are Radisson VIP members & this was not recognised by the reception team when I checked in. When i asked about an upgrade I was told that the hotel was full & not available. When we got to our room it was next to the service lift with the hoover outside (room 672) So this put me off however once inside, the room was large with everything we needed. The view was of the back of the hotel however for what we needed the room for & the length of our stay it was fine - it was just disappointing - overall we had a great time
• pablomZ4738KB (10/5): EXCELLENT!!!!! - Excellent service by everyone one in the hotel all the personnel where very attentive friendly and helpful staff Massimiliano the concierge help us with tours information about the surroundings of the hotel very knowledgeable person also about restaurants. Gianmmarco help us with tips too and all the bags and carry on that we have. Lorenzo the driver excellent too friendly puntual very attendant for everyone in the van and sometimes we were 6 people. All the staff in the front desk also were amazing, all I can say I really recommend this Hotel a great experience and the breakfast every day delicious 👍👍. Thank you so much for everything Grazie !!!!!
• gibbspsalm4 (10/5): Beautiful Hotel - This hotel was selected by Norwegian Cruise line, for early arrival prior to a scheduled cruise. It's central location between the airport and port was excellent. It was also convenient for local touring, especially for my Vatican 🇻🇦 tour. My room was beautiful and my breakfast was delicious.

It is in a pleasant area in Rome, a few doors down from Schostal, a high end boutique highly recommended by a local. The beds are comfortable, rooms clean, staff pleasant and helpful, nicely decorated. They have two restaurants that serve good food. The breakfast is ample, lots of selection. The only slightly negative (not really) thing I would say is that it's a bit far from many of the main attractions in Rome, but that might be a positive if you want to get away from the crush. Rome is crowded!

• JFW--Ski (8/5): Roman Holiday retreat - Beautiful hotel that has been remodeled. Bathroom is like a wet room but did have a curtain around the shower area. Some people complained of no hot water. Breakfast was good but long lines for the buffet. Also they only had one coffee machine that took several minutes to make a cup of coffee so that line was super long. They did have a cute buffet table set up for the kids.

• ewaldbiemans (6/5): I have stayed at better Radisson Blu hotels, - This used to be a Ritz in its early years, but it lost the Z many years ago. The staff is friendly, the food is good, but the WIFI is poor, and the room needs work. I was assigned Room 114, and I do not recommend this room to anyone. The room was tiny, the walls were paper-thin, one could hear every sound from the neighbour, and one could not open the window as it looked out at a construction site, and the street noise was deafening. The location was perfect for me as it was within walking distance of the Palazzo della Musica, where the event I attended took place
• Jokujoli (10/5): Wonderful hotel - The hotel is wonderful. As soon as I entered the door, I was greeted by the professional, friendly and charming receptionist Alessandro. He was very helpful and attentive. He answered all my questions and gave me the necessary advice. The hotel is spacious and cozy, the breakfast is varied and fresh. The room was very clean. Every day the room maid cleaned it up perfectly. The restaurant staff on the 7th floor are cheerful and helpful. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful hotel.

The sautéed mushrooms mixed in with the creamy eggs along with the porchetta, fresh tomatoes, fresh sliced toasted bread and capers.. to die for. The 7th floor restaurant we ate a different dish almost every night during our 7 night stay. "ALL "of the staff where so friendly and went that extra mile to assist your every need from transportation, tours and even laundry. With an average taxi ride to center Rome of13-14 euro or just a beautiful 40 minute safe walk which my wife and I preferred. Enjoy Rome and you cannot go wrong staying with The Radisson Blu GHR!
• mbattikhi (6/5): excellent experience if not damaged by room services - To start with we enjoy our suite very much. Reception staff were fantastic and all in all our experience were very good. However, couple of points worth raising as they could have ruined our stay in a nasty way Room service was a nightmare throughout our stay. We have to beg for services without which we have been ignored. To name few examples 1- Drinking water were not supplied daily have to call to get our rational also we have been asked to pay for it which we refused as our understanding we are eligible for 2 bottles of water daily! 2- The veranda was not clean until the very last day of our stay. Such a beautiful facility was not used due to dirt and rubbish accumulated since last time it was cleaned! 3- First time entry to the suite no briefing were given by the gentleman who showed us to the room. We have been to many hotels and usually we are briefed about facilities in the room such as the air-condition adjustment, the fridge, the TV operation, Jacuzzi, safe and light switches. It was a quick drop of luggage and go. 4- Basin and bathroom amenities were another disaster by room service. One toothbrush was provided for the two of us, shampoo and conditioners were not refilled, and the list goes on To be honest it is shame that such a nice hotel does not give attention to these details and leave room services without monitor or control which can make adverse effect on customers experience. We were very disappointed by the way services to room were given. It was a complete disaster, and I can't complaint enough about how bad was the room service One last comment, Breakfast area was not convenient. We have to go up and down the stairs, especially for someone my age, besides it has no views at all. Breakfast varieties and quality were very basic and not up to the Italian cuisine standards. • kenmartin19 (6/5): Vacation - We arrived at the hotel after a 10 day cruise approximately noon time with two bus loads of people. They could not accommodate because the people from the night before hadn’t even checked out. It was very chaotic and a mess. Saturday morning they scheduled pick ups for 7 AM to be shuttle to the airport but they did not open the restaurant until 7 AM. A very large group of people were sitting waiting for breakfast. Breakfast normally opens at 6:30 during the week, but they should have accommodated for Saturday morning with a full hotel once we got checked into our room, the first time I flushed the toilet the water would not stop running. There were two chairs placed at the end of the bed that were just taking up space in the room for absolutely no reason. The room wasn’t big enough to accommodate these two chairs and luggage.
• Escape01591652303 (10/5): Great Hotel in Rome, Italy - The entire experience was great. The staff was helpful in all areas, tours, transportation and hotel transfers. The Rooftop restaurant provided excellent food, drinks and atmosphere. The rooms were very nice and the staff made sure all was taken care of. The breakfast bar was another treat. Good variety of coffee and food selection. Overall a wonderful experience.

The hotel is very nice, we had a lovely room over looking a stunning church, the bed was so comfortable and room was lovely and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. They have a free shuttle bus on the hour into the Spanish steps, you need to book it at reception. Gorgeous coffee shop across the road with the best coffee we had all trip. Not to mention the fabulous rooftop restaurant/bar. Stunning. Would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel.

• Trail12660656878 (6/5): Great location...watch out for front desk - Great location. Single occupancy room was clean. Lacks storage. Had a major run in with front desk lady over the non replacement of milk pods for tea/coffee. (In my room as well as my sister's room) After asking a number of times, we were told emphatically that the milk was replaced. We were told to go to our room and phone room service. My sister reminded her that she had reported that morning that the phone was not work...and at 7pm was still not working. A junior college then escorted me back to our rooms where I could clearly show that the milk had in fact NOT been replenished. I felt so embarrassed for this young. The cherry on the cake.... absolutely no apology from front desk. Seriously...all of this so my sister and I could make a lousy cup of tea in our over $480 AUD per night room (we were there 3 nights)

Il ristorante al settimo piano dell’hotel al tramonto è bellissimo, soprattutto per un aperitivo. Il ristorante l’ho trovato caro. Siamo stati serviti con molto ritardo rispetto al nostro avviso, malgrado i solleciti. Poi per farsi perdonare - e lo dico con rispetto- sembravano i camerieri dello sketch al ristorante di Monty Python.
