- Niamh (7/5): Beautiful hotel in excellent location - Beautiful reception & bar area, warm and friendly service (doormen, reception and bar) The bathroom which happened to be an accessible shower needed a thorough clean of the grout, the grout was yellow in several places which could have been easily cleaned. There were also pieces of extra grout smeared on the marble beside the sink (a poor workman’s finish) Would have also expected more towels for two people. Only one bath towel each.

Exceptional front office, house keeping, concierge, porters, house keeping and restaurant staff. We stayed in a terrace suite and could not recommend highly enough. Sitting on our terrace by the fire in the being time watching the lights of the city twinkle and sunbathing having breakfast in the morning time… An absolutely exceptional experience and one that we have highly recommended already to our VIP clients. As a concierge service to the film industry, we have exacting standards and these were beyond net…. Could not recommend highly enough.

- Welshman_on_2ur (8/5): Lots of positives and a couple of areas for improvement - Everything considered we had a good stay here, during which my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. We took a Queen studio on the 6th floor for 3 nights. PROS • A charming welcome, during which we were able to access our room well before the 3pm official check-in time. Similarly, our check-out. • Excellent location, especially for the charming boutiques and restaurants of Marylebone and within walking distance of Selfridges, Liberty, Bond Street etc. • Very good service throughout the hotel by all the staff we encountered. (I’m not in favour of naming single members of staff. A successful hotel is all about team-work and not individual members of staff. Of course, in any hotel which is renowned for great service, there will be individuals who provide that great service, but they are only as good as the team of which they form a part. • Comfortable bedroom, including quality seating and bedding, an independent AC unit; a well-timed and appropriate turn down service. • Very good acknowledgement of guests’ who are celebrating special occasions. • 108 Brasserie is a very good restaurant. We had a good meal there as guests of the hotel – we were allowed to select our table, enjoyed very good dishes and service which was gracious and on-point. We also experinced great service at the cocktail bar. CONS • The bathroom in our Queen Studio was not of the quality we expect from a 5 star hotel. • The spa and leisure facilities were not conducive to our expectation for guests of a 5 star hotel. We are looking for a relaxed atmosphere in which hotel guests are truly welcomed at the spa and pool area, without the burden of numerous rules and regulations. I couldn’t wait to get out of this place. • The pre and post visit correspondence with guests could be improved for the hotel to truly operate at 5 star level. Would we return? Possibly, at the right price and the appropriate circumstances.

It was my daughters first time in London and the amazing service and friendly staff made the stay extra special. The Richards family had an absolutely amazing experience, and we felt it was important to recognise the exceptional standard of service we received. In particular, Monae, Flaviana, and Bertea (your breakfast waitress) were all truly outstanding. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made a real difference to our stay and did not go unnoticed. We were also incredibly impressed with the hotel facilities. The gym is simply incredible—one of the best we have experienced. Our rooms were beautifully presented, comfortable, and maintained to a very high standard. In addition, the restaurants were fantastic, offering both excellent food and a great atmosphere. Thank you once again for such a memorable stay. We very much look forward to returning in the future. Check in was delayed until after 3pm which was disappointing being a long standing guest and gold discovery member. The front desk and management did a good ”recovery” job😄

- 846tessaa (10/5): Beautiful hotel with attentive and welcoming staff - I stayed here for my 40th birthday and it was just beautiful. The room and hotel was gorgeous - luxe without being stuffy and the staff are amazing. Monet welcomed us at check in and just looked after us really well with an upgrade and late checkout. I was so touched to find a card, cake and champagne in my room from the team too! It’s a great hotel to visit if you want to stay somewhere special with a relaxed and welcoming feel.

Breakfast was included in my rate, which provided a very filling start to the day (buffet plus order off the menu) and loved the personal service by Beata each morning. Arrived on an early morning flight and pleasantly surprised to be able to check in on arrival. My only challenge was the gym. The gym is quite expansive/nicer than most hotels but constantly crowded as it is a standalone gym operated in the same building. Nice to have access but it was constantly crowded as opposed to hotel gyms which tend to be smaller but less crowded (so just be aware if looking for a quiet morning workout).

Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. Excellent accueil. Le personnel de ménage passait 2 fois par jour: chambre toujours impeccable et bouteilles d'eau à chaque fois renouvelées. La salle de bains de la chambre était vraiment trop petite, l'écoulement des toilettes laissait à désirer et malheureusement la douche n'était pas équipée d'une douchette amovible: juste un pommeau au plafond ce qui n'est pas pratique du tout.

- Louise (10/5): Excellent Stay at a wonderful hotel - Stunning room with a terrace overlooking the roof tops of London. The hotel is in a great location and the staff are warm, welcoming and helpful. The room has everything you need and more and the terrace is just perfect for relaxing.

- 577katei (10/5): fabulous valentine's stay - Having walked past it hundreds of times, we finally stayed at The Marylebone for the night of 14th February, and now we wish we had tried it long ago! The hotel is in a great location just off Marylebone Lane, and is a perfect base for a central London stay in a lovely area but just slightly removed from the madness of the West End. We were greeted very warmly at reception, and much to our amazement soon discovered that we had been upgraded to one of the hotel's fabulous seventh floor suites! We were accompanied there by Aurica Cacau, the charming Guest Experience Manager, who showed us the spacious indoor/outdoor balcony ( which was furnished like an indoor lounge, but with fireplace and heater lamps, and a fantastic view to the South) and explained how to use the various gadgets in the room. The room itself was very spacious but cosy with a huge corner sofa and massive TV, and there were extensive tea/coffee/drinks options available in the little 'kitchen' area. The room service menu had a good range of options, and the food we ordered from it came quite promptly (especially considering how busy the hotel was that night), and the tray was cleared almost as soon as I called to say we had finished. Excellent service all round and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, and that continued at breakfast the next day, where there is a good buffet, but also plenty of delicious al la Carte options, and the coffee was top notch. All in all we had a wonderful experience at The Marylebone, and count ourselves very lucky and grateful for our lovely upgrade. Of course it has ruined us because now we know how amazing those balcony suites are, but I'm sure we'll be back at some point, and will also consider staying at other hotels in the Doyle Collection.

My wife became ill yesterday evening before we were due to travel today and I emailed reservations immediately to notify them of the issue. I had booked a flexible rate but we were a few hours beyond the 4pm cut off for cancellation. No response to my email that evening and on following up by phone the following morning was told I’d missed the cancellation deadline and would be charged the full rate for tonight’s stay. I explained that we didn’t want to cancel but just rebook for a different date as we’d really wanted to stay at the hotel and defer our birthday celebration. Same response - no flexibility, no compassion and no desire to accommodate a disappointed customer. Just a legalistic “sorry, it’s our policy”. We’ll be taking our custom elsewhere when we next visit London.

No compasion at a difficult time - I made a booking at christmas , my father got really sick , so had to change the dates of my stay , i changed the dates to the 14th Feb , called the hotel to confirm and they told me i never confirmed the change , so no booking but no offer of a change or refund , even after informed the manager my father has passed away so not been a great couple of months . Tbh ! I am totally lost for words & insulted me by basically saying book again , pay more money which dosnt sit right

- Andrew (7/5): - The concierge staff and restaurant staff were excellent really helpful all through our stay, the room staff and receptions maybe not so friendly. Breakfast was very good food also. Location is excellent for Marylebone and Regents Park. Thehotel downstairs is excellent, the public areas, bar and restaurant and reception area etc, we felt the actual room was quite tired it was adequate but the bathroom was really small and the carpet in the room was stained near the doorway.

- Lizrevu (10/5): Great birthday weekend celebration! - We have stayed at hotels in the Oxford Street area and across London for years and felt the need to find somewhere new and a hotel that offers a personal experience. We didn't go wrong with The Marylebone. From the first welcome as the doorman opened the cab door to being greeted by Flaviana at reception, we felt immediately at home. We were offered a lovely glass of bubbly as our keys were prepared and Flaviana came from behind reception to speak to us and assured us that our luggage would be taken to our room, which they were just putting the finishing touches to. In the meantime, we went and sat in The Cocktail Bar, which is located just off reception, a very smart area of the hotel with great lighting and very comfortable seating. Bruno the mixologist made us some super cocktails, you know when someone knows what they are doing! He spent time talking about his upcoming creations for Valentines and nothing was too much trouble. He made our stay memorable through his enthusiasm and professionalism. I booked the Loft Suit as a treat for my husband's birthday stay for two nights. When we got to the room, we were greeted with a lovely array of birthday treats, champagne, fresh fruit, cake and balloons, which was very kind and appreciated. The suite is great, comprising a kitchen/dining area, lounge area, two bathrooms and bedroom with a very comfy bed. We struggled to make use of the 'Chromecast' service and couldn't connect any of our devices to stream content to the big TV screen, which was a bit frustrating. We could have called reception but didn't want to disturb our relaxation. For us it wasn't a big issue. We had room service the first night with the food served from 108 Brasserie in the hotel, which was very good. Breakfast is great. Super service from Jakob, who looked after us very well and brought freshly prepared ingredients to our table. There is a self service continental buffet available but for us it was a lovely treat to have a cooked breakfast brought to us by Jakob and nothing was too much trouble with his most polite and fun service. We also visited the bar in 108 Brasserie and had a very well mixed Manhattan, this is a busy and buzzing part of the hotel, good fun. The hotel had a number of discreet corporate gathering events running in what looked like good spaces to bring colleagues together. The ambiance and lighting throughout the whole hotel is warm and inviting. One small draw back for us is the location meaning it's more of a walk than usual to some of our other haunts. However, I think we have found a new home from home at The Marylebone and looking forward to returning soon. We had a great weekend especially due to the high level of personal service from the staff who seem like a happy team and who really enjoy looking after guests. We'd say a cut above their competitors. Thank you to you all.

- Oliver (8/5): Great location with pool and gym, although bathrooms very small - The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk from Bond Street Underground station. It is very well maintained, and the rooms are comfortable and attractively presented. The complimentary gym and pool are excellent amenities; however, as they aren't available exclusively to hotel guests, they can become quite busy—particularly the gym during peak hours. It would have been helpful at check-in to receive a brief overview of the hotel’s available amenities, such as the bars and restaurants, as I would likely have made use of them. While the check-in process itself was smooth and the staff were pleasant, no information was provided about the facilities within the hotel. Additionally, while the room was well-appointed and comfortable, the bathroom in the Queen room was quite compact—so much so that opening the door while inside was difficult.
