- Julie (3/5): Disappointing stay for 1 night - Very nice clean hotel in a good quiet location. Lovely bar staff. When booking a hotel, we would expect a comfy bed (which we did) and a shower. There was no hot water when we arrived but as it was late we decided to leave it until morning. Sadly there was no hot water in the morning either. I reported this at reception before going to breakfast. No one came to our room and I complained when checking out. We were told there was a problem with the pipes and the hot water was not reaching the ninth floor, where our room was. I suggested that as guests we expected to be able to wash for the £112 cost of our room. The receptionist was very defensive saying that it wasn't their fault we had no hot water to shower. There was no offer of a refund and I told the receptionist I would be complaining to booking.com. I will not recommend this hotel.

- Laura (10/5): Best hotel in Barcelona - The staff were so helpful and friendly and although my Spanish isn’t perfect they understood or helped by speaking English. Nothing was too much trouble for them and found them all wonderful. The rooms were spotless on arrival and cleaned everyday. I love the Alimara and can’t wait to return again for my Baby Moon. The property was perfect and spotless. Although it isn’t city centre the metro is very close by and super easy to use.

L’hôtel a indiqué que ce n’était pas la saison pour l’activer, mais les températures étaient pourtant très élevées. J’ai eu extrêmement chaud toute la nuit, au point de ne presque pas pouvoir dormir. C’est un point qui a fortement affecté mon confort et la qualité de mon séjour

- Esther (9/5): Hotel agradable aunque un poco alejado del centro - Es un hotel muy agradable, con habitaciones espaciosas y luminosas. La TV es un poco arcaica y pequeña y en los alrederdores del hotel apenas hay restaurantes.
- Andrea (9/5): Gutes Hotel am Rande der Stadt - Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Schritte von der Metrostation Mundet entfernt. In der nahen Umgebung liegen Schul-/Universitätsgebäude. Es ist nicht viel los, also keine Geschäfte oder Restaurants. Hat uns aber nicht gestört. Das Hotel hat eine gute Grösse, das Familienzimmer war toll. Die 2 Schlafzimmer konnten per Türe geschlossen werden. Das Badezimmer war aussergewöhnlich gross und hatte sowohl eine Badewanne als auch eine Bodendusche. Produkte, Handtücher, Föhn, alles ist vorhanden. Die Einrichtung ist modern, die Betten waren sehr bequem und es hatte auch genügend Kissen. Fragen oder Probleme werden sofort behandelt und gelöst. Super! Nichts.

El barrio en el que está es tranquilo y tienes cerca varios servicios. Todo el personal con el que tratamos fue muy amable y nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos. Al ser un hotel 4 estrellas te esperas otras calidades, se nota que está bastante vivido. Pero me consta que en la planta en la que estábamos iban a hacer obras.

- 18golfer (8/5): A nice hotel outside the city centre. - All good mainly.. The hotel is only a 3 minute walk from Mundet Metro station. It is about a 20 minute metro ride into city centre by direct L3 line and with a regular service. The staff at the hotel were fine and the buffet breakfast very good and plenty of variety. Room itself was ok apart from a bit of road traffic noise .. The main downside was the hopeless WiFi service in the room. Kept cutting out so I'd suggest to the hotel that they need to improve on that. Apart from that, very nice and reasonable priced stay for 3 night city break.

- Sharon (5/5): Extremely basic and very tired hotel food was inedible would not recommend it. - It was clean The hotel looks very tired,I had a cheeseburger in the bar which was raw in the middle when I cut it in half, sent it back and the same burger came back still not cooked I left it and didn’t receive an apology or my money back.None of the bar staff spoke any English which was frustrating but we made with our little Spanish we knew.
