• Happy roaming Gnome (9/5): Great place to stay in Dubrovnik - The apartment was clean, very large and comfortable. With both windows opened at night a wonderful cold breeze allowed for turning off the AC. The room has a mini fridge, hair dryer, lots of hangers and a full length mirror on one wall. In the hallway are shared items, iron and board and extra coffee and tea. Access to the apartment and the room was easy, lock boxes are outside the main door and finding the room is easy with lighted room numbers on the floor in front of the room. Be aware you will need to take out your trash at the end of the stay or an additional charge will be incurred. (The bins are down behind the Hilton hotel). NOTE- ask transportation to drop you at the Hilton hotel. You will need to walk up the stairs (a long distance with luggage) before finding the apartment. The best route is to go to the right of the Hilton entry door. Down the stairs and left on the flat path (you'll see the Hilton restaurant on the left). Do not go down the stairs to the bus. Instead turn left and once through the corridor start climbing. Continue through the intersection and up 20 steps. Building is on the left with green gate. Seven stars is up 40 stairs once inside the building.
• GEORGIOS1974 (10/5): - The apartment was brilliant, renovated with taste, cosy and very clean, with a pleasant sense of home. The location was excellent, just a few steps from the centre of the Old city. The personnel were very friendly, tending to our requests. Excellent value for money!

• Sandra (5/5): Le daría menos estrellas / Less than 7 stars - Lo mejor la localización, una vez descubres que no tienes que usar las escaleras. No me gustó que no es un hotel, es más un Airbnb pero con habitaciones. No hay nadie allí, solo la chica que limpia, muy maja, no tienen sitio para dejar las maletas, las dejamos en el pasillo al alcance dejar cualquiera, todo por SMS. Si llego a saber que no tiene personal no lo reservo. Sin ascensor, no es para todo el mundo. Entorno descuidado.

What we especially appreciated was the flexibility with the late check-out – it really helped us a lot and made our departure much more relaxed. The room is modern, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Do note that the location is slightly hidden, you’ll need to go up a few steps to find it, however this also adds to its quiet and tucked-away charm.

Es muy difícil de encontrar. Llegamos de noche y nos costó encontrar el lugar y luego la habitación. No es un hotel sino una habitación en un edificio.

The host was incredibly kind and responsive, giving us clear instructions for check-in and even sharing great local tips for restaurants and beaches. The apartment itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping it clean and comfortable. The bed was very cozy, the kitchen was well equipped, and everything worked perfectly — strong WiFi, great air conditioning (which we really appreciated), and plenty of space to relax after long days exploring. The location is honestly one of the best parts. It’s close enough to the Old Town to walk easily, but still quiet at night so we could sleep peacefully. We loved being able to step out and reach everything within minutes — restaurants, bakeries, and the sea. What really stood out was the attention to detail. Small touches like fresh towels, good coffee, and thoughtful communication made the stay feel personal rather than just another rental. If you’re visiting Dubrovnik, I genuinely recommend Seven Stars Apartment. It made our trip even more special, and we would definitely 10/10

From a tourist's standpoint, it just could not have been better. The room itself was spacious and impeccable. That could not have been better. Prior to booking it would have been beneficial to know the more precise location of the room. Access required a short walk and many stairs. Also more precise check-in information would have been helpful, since no one was on site.

• Alison (8/5): A peaceful stay - A very nice place to stay. There are a lot of steps to reach it from the Pile Gate area. A good base for walking into the old town. Very quiet area with small linking streets mostly well lit. Room was modern and clean with a king size bed.A lovely view of the sea. A bakery and sandwich shop at the bottom of the hill. • RAVI.Y (10/5): More than a stay i had a wonderful experience - The first experience started with a message from my host Ivana when iam on a flight from Berlin. She messaged me with all the detailed pics regarding property and about checkin process which made it a breeze to find the property and checking inn. During my stay through out when ever i messaged her for any information and help she would respond within minutes and gave detailed information .In my 25 years of travelling i can say that i didnt meet a wonderful host like her. coming to the property it is absolutely in a top most location near the old city. Location wise we cant ask more and for most of the properties in Dubrovnik we have to climb lots of stairs,for this property also we need to climb stairs but only few around 10 from street to property. The room is well maintained,spotless clean and with all support from host u cant ask for a better deal. There is a common space in hall where we can use the coffee machine etc and there if we observe we will find many useful things if we love to use.There are many good top rated restaurants within a radius of may be 100 metres to make the stay more comfortable. Its not that i didnt like,but if the room size would have been slightly bigger then no need to stay in any five star hotel/luxury property.

• Jeanette (8/5): Bra for en natt eller to. - God kommunikasjon med eier. Rent. Kaffe og te til disposisjon. Kort vei til gamlebyen. Rommet er litt lite, men det visste vi jo. Prisen samsvarer ikke helt med hva vi opplevde senere på turen, da vi fant en stor toppmoderne leilighet med fantastisk utsikt for omtrent det samme. Ble også anbefalt av eier å bruke deres transport fra flyplassen, visstnok til en billigere pris enn taxi, noe som viste seg å ikke stemme. Men hyggelig og hjelpsom sjåfør som fulgte oss til døra. Hadde nok slitt med å finne fram på egenhånd.

• Islay (9/5): Lovely apartment, perfect location. - The location of this apartment was perfect! Right next to the Old Town, supermarkets, and beaches. The room was lovely, good size, very clean, good wifi, good AC, with a beautiful view over the sea and old town. There was coffee facilities for everyone to use in the hallway. The shuttle service from the airport was very good too, the driver very friendly and helpful. We weren't sent check in instructions from the host prior to arrival. But our shuttle driver gave very good instructions on where to go and how to get in, so it was all okay.
