This area is bit quieter, and there are actual sidewalks along the street, unlike the busier parts of town. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. I had a room where almost the entire wall was a window, so the view and natural light was fantastic.
Nicola (9/5): Lovely yet short stay - We arrived at 1.30am, later than expected. We were booked in very quickly by a lovely young man who was very helpful. The hotel is central to amenities and close to nice cafes etc and the lake. The room was very clean and had all we needed. Nothing.

Adeph (9/5): Superb - I really enjoyed my time in Marina Hotel. Position is perfect to walk around in the old quarter, room clean and spacious enough. Noise from outside street is not bothering at all. Bathroom clean. Room be cleaned everyday. Beds supercomfy. Staff friendly and helpful. There's always somebody at the door. Pretty safe. Maybe a pity they don't serve breakfast anymore, but I was informed by the facility prior my arrival so it's fine. Also the terrace is not accessible.. Too bad.

Great value for money. - Very good location, which is right beside a good banh cuon place and on the same street as a lot of popular local cafes (including Cafe Giang) & bun cha places. Since the hotel is in the old quarter, it's easy to walk to anywhere within the old quarter and Hoan Kiem lake. The room has sound proofing so we slept very well despite being located on a busy street. Beds were very comfortable and clean, bathroom was well stocked and cleaned well too. We would love to stay in this hotel again. It's very affordable for the quality and cleanliness. I hate that they wake you up in the morning via a phone call to ask if you want your room cleaned. This should be asked in the evening or a given that they will clean your room. Excursions outside of Hanoi depart very early and return pretty late so a lot of guests would like to sleep in or rest the next day, so this is something they should take into consideration. The cleaning ladies can also be heard talking loudly outside the doors early in the morning, every day. I also had to take an early morning video call for work in the lobby on our last day (I couldn't do it in the room as it was 6AM and my sister was sleeping) and the 2 receptionists who were about to switch shifts were talking so loudly even after I asked them to at least lower their volume because I was about to take a call. This went on for over half an hour, but thankfully the one who just ended his shift left 2 mins before my call was about to start.
Anthony (3/5): Poor - The location The room was labeled as a "supreme" room. But it was windowless and barely big enough for a queen bed. When we booked the room breakfast was stated as included, but we were informed the day before arrival that there was no breakfast. I would not stay here again under any circumstances.

Dorottya (2/5): It was hard to sleep here, the hotel is very loud, I really do not recommend it. - The room was clean, but unfortunately very loud. The first night there was construction next to us and we could only sleep with earplugs. For the second night, we requested a room change, which the host fulfilled, but the second room was also very loud, we could hear everything from the rooms next to/above us. On the last morning, we woke up to the fact that the stone was being thrown on the steps of the hotel entrance. This could also be heard on the 3rd floor and of course the hotel did not inform us about this before. This was the worst accommodation we had during our two week trip in Asia.

Rochelle (8/5): Perfect location - Perfect location near everything. Good beds and good view. The room appears to have been renovated/renovated but it’s not so new like in photos. The bathroom is very small and the hot water comes from a boiler, so when one person takes a shower the hot water runs out and the next person will take a cold shower. There is no breakfast at the hotel. The bedroom and bathroom have not some facilities and utilities, for example there is no mirror in the room and there is no support for hanging towels and clothes.

Room was a nice size and well finished. Fully recommend staying here and worth the high price for the nicer rooms!
Lily (10/5): The location is great and room is comfortable. - The location is great and I can explore the old quarter easily. There are many famous and delicious street food stalls nearby. I like the room with wide windows (must choose the room with window). Although I want to have a quiet room, I still hear the street noise. (I stay on 2 floor. 　Maybe it will be more quiet if you stay in high floor)

We left our bags with them a couple of times when we did overnight trips away. This made the trips a lot easier, and we knew we had somewhere comfortable to return to.

Ly (10/5): Great location, new and clean green street view room. - Great location near Cafe Lam, Xoi Yen, in the heart of Old Town so you can walk along all the small streets, enjoy local foods and the heritage. The room was clean, with a green and peaceful street view that I loved. Toilet and toiletries were clean and good quality. I paid for a single pax but the room was as large as for two so it was very comfortable. The staffs were nice and to my personal opinion, more professional than some other hotels in the area at the same rate where I used to stay. I will return for my next times in Hanoi. At that rate, I don’t have anything that I didn’t like about the hotel.

Tanja (5/5): No idea where this hotel got its positive reviews from - Deluxe room without a window is rather strange. In addition, after the booking was confirmed on the platform, we needed to reconfirm the booking once again via email otherwise it would get cancelled within only one hour. It was pure luck that we checked our emails and were able to reconfirm as requested… WiFi not stable. Very small rooms - even the Executive Suite! You can hear the neighbor taking a shower very clearly.

Daniel (9/5): Superb - Beautiful rooms. Accurate depictions. Attentive and detail oriented staff. The rooms can be a bit noisy as the hotel is on a main road. Constant hiking can be heard late into the night. This can be bothersome if you’re not used to a busy Asian city. Overall still great value.

Ngoc (7/5): Good - The location is entirely in the center even though there will be no block on the weekend, it will be pretty crowded at night, but it's okay. There are a lot of famous restaurants and cafes nearby such as Giang Coffee, Yen sticky rice.... Hotel in the Old Quarter, therefore, the room is relatively small, and for the lowest category there will be no window, the bed is not the standard bed, it's just 1.4 in width, so this is suitable for single only.
