• Rhianne (7/5): Peaceful traditional Japanese accommodation, within walking distance to all necessary facilities - The apartment and surrounding area has a very traditional Japanese style. Very peaceful and quiet after a long day in the busy city The beds are rather uncomfortable but I think that’s most places in Japan

• YECHAN (9/5): - 위치도 우메다역과 멀지 않고 주변도 조용하며 아늑한 숙소였습니다. 숙소로 들어가는 계단이 가파르고 전자레인지가 작동하지 않아 조금 아쉬웠습니다.

• Ludington (3/5): Not ideal for travelers. - Not much. The neighborhood was cute and had good shopping. The room was over 100 degrees when we arrived. It took over 40 minutes to get someone to speak English with us to get the air conditioned to work. The stairs to access are ridiculously steep and virtually impossible to navigate with luggage. The room had no windows it’s like staying in a hot closet. No Mirror of bathroom sink. All around awful stay.

• Stephen (7/5): Decent place to stay. A fairly basic traditional Japanese accommodation. - Mainly the location was great. Close to a lot of nice shops. The property itself was satisfactory, but pretty basic and traditional Japanese in decor. The photos are accurate. This is a good place for a short stay (1-2 days max). The heating unit was difficult to operate and would turn off in the middle of the night leaving the room very cold (it was 1.6 degrees C outside at night). The small heating unit did not generate any heat. The instructions for the main heating unit could have been more comprehensive. • Melissa (9/5): Perfect location! - Lovely apartment in Nakazakicho. Spacious with very comfortable beds. Location cannot be beaten! Very cold in winter until you heat it up with the AC.

• Irish (4/5): Wanted to love this place but ultimately disappointed. Would not stay here during the winter. - Loved the apartment itself and the neighborhood. The instructions were very helpful as well and also appreciated that the place was (mostly) well appointed. The apartment was too cold which made our stay quite uncomfortable as there was no central heating. The space heater provided wasn’t enough to warm the room. And because it was unsafe to leave the heater on overnight, it was an unpleasant experience sleeping in the cold.

• Marek (9/5): Unique experience of back streets of Osaka - Cozy and comfortable old japanese style room. The location allows for unique experience of exploring narrow back streets of Osaka. Very steep and narrow stairs may be a problem if one has leg issues or large and heavy luggage.

• If (8/5): A good place for people looking for a more local experience. - I liked it as a typical Japanese area experience. It's not for boring less adventurous types of people who like luxury hotels and everything done for them. It's a basic little ground level unit with another unit above in old area of small houses all up against each other along a walkway. Narrow streets & little shops around that area & not far to walk into the main shopping areas around train stations. Easy train access to tourist attractions. Good for walking with very few cars. Very cold floor until the heater & reverse cycle aircon warms the unit up. The owner provided instructions but we came in from another train station. Google maps has got its location slightly wrong on the next alleyway over but we found it with a bit of looking around so it wasn't a real problem. Coffee shops are not open in morning. Luckily there's the common vending machine for hot & cold drinks everywhere nearby.
