Rooms are on the small side, but the communal areas are very nice.
Staff all helpful.
Rooms were clean and tidy as you would expect.

- Thian (9/5): Great location. Comfy large rooms. Clean. Modern. Quiet - Location perfect for accessing the ferry. Above a mall so no need to walk in the rain if weather is bad. Nice staff. Room is larger than most in HK. Even provided an adapter plug! Breakfast buffet options is good Be nice to have a few more teas in the room (green tea/camomile) in the room. The bed is definitely on the hard end. Just for those who prefer a softer bed, you’ll struggle with these
- Mariusz (10/5): Służbowy wyjazd - Świetny widok na port. Blisko do metra. Świetna lokalizacja. Pokój przestronny i ładnie urządzony

- Noel (10/5): Great hotel with a nice view - This hotel is nothing but amazing, this is the first time we stayed with Royal Pacific Hotel HK, all ai can say is, they have gain another happy customer.
Location is really good, 10min walk from West Kowloon High Speed Train Terminal and Austin MTR station, 20min walk from Kowloon station with the Airport Express.
On the other side, you have Harbour City if you like shopping and the Star Ferry is just 10min walk away.
You can cross to Kowloon Park via footbridge on the viewing platform.
There is a 711 in the shopping centre just beneath the hotel (although it only opens 7am-11pm).
The bed we had was a very comfortable 1.80m King bed.

- Joana (10/5): Its was great overall - Location The pillow too soft and too thin
- Cheryl (1/5): Misleading prices and dishonest staff - Good location Staff. We tried to check in with our 2 room booking but we told there’s a construction (found out later on there was no construction) in the tower we were originally booked in and that it would be noisy. We were told that we’d be given an upgrade for an additional hkd700+ (40 sqm) and hkd 1299 (65sqm harbourview room) to move to a better & quieter tower. We asked for rooms on the same floor and were told the only options were two 1299 rooms, both of which would be the same, except one would have a harbourview room. We agreed to this but when we moved into our rooms, found out one room was significantly smaller than the harbourview room. We went down to complain and found out the smaller room was only 40sqm. Turns out they gave us the 40sqm room even though they charged us for the 65sqm room. They eventually reversed the charges but they would not have done that if we did not find out and complain. In addition, we were told our rooms had 2 breakfasts included for each room. But staff kept trying to charge us for the breakfasts, both while we were eating and also as we were trying to check out.
- Shirley (5/5): Passable -
- Jeriel (10/5): - Always a great stay here. They were so accommodating to check me in early but they put me on the wrong room type that I booked and paid. I had to ask them for the room that I booked. I had to wait a few hours, which I was willing to do anyway since I knew I was too early. The staff is very hospitable! The gym is small but usable. The restaurant had a great breakfast buffet although almost the same food every day. The hotel is convenient to the park, Tsim Sha Tsui, the star ferry and many shopping options!
- Vatkavee (8/5): Very good -
- Vineet (8/5): Very good -
- Kevan (10/5): Feels like home - The bell staff always know me and go out of their way to help with anything I need. At this property the bell staff is the most outstanding feature. Feels like I’m returning home when I arrive at Royal Pacific Kowloon, Kong Kong!
- Dimitrios (10/5): - Nice Hotel! Quick access to Kowloon Station!
- Carolyn (8/5): Very good - Location was fabulous, close to MTR and Star Ferry.
Also close to restaurants and a variety of stores. Concierge desk was extremely helpful. I wasn't overly happy that whole bathroom floor was wet and slippery after showering.
- Anonymous (8/5): Good - I like the location and room house keeping very polite I don’t like front desk staffs speaking rudely
- techiechris (8/5): Kowloon - the reliable safe bet. - Good solid reliable hotel. Great staff and a great location for quick stop over as it’s near Kowloon station and the China ferry terminals. Some of the rooms are looking tired and dated but they are on with refurbs. A quick walk thru the shopping mall and you are straight at the star ferry terminal or a walk in another direction and gems such as Delaney’s, Ned Kelly’s or the Gaylord Indian are close at hand.
- ray (10/5): - Great location
- Gemma (9/5): Superb - Good location
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (6/5): a great room in HK! - location, foods price
- Kevin (8/5): Can’t go wrong in Hong Kong! - The gym was nice. Location was cool too. Bit of a mission to get to the gym, and up and down.
- Stefan (8/5): Very good -
- Shirley (6/5): - front desk staffs are helpful. The room is a bit old fashioned.
- Sérgio (7/5): Very good location and staff, but need renovations. - I've already stayed at this hotel before, it has a very good location and the rooms are clean. The rooms need renovations. The shower is old and still has a tube with a curtain. All modern hotels have gotten rid of this kind of shower.
- Sérgio (7/5): A very good location with a wonderful staff. But the bathroom needs renovation, it's too old. - I've got an upgrade for this visit, and the room was very good, but the shower was the same as the lower rooms, so the experience was not perfect. The bathroom needs renovation!
- Ayhan (7/5): Good stay.. Worth it. - Everything was good. Dehumidifier and air purifier in each room. Rooms might have mold problem due to high humidity.. Hotel found a solution by putting dehumidifier and air purifier in each room.
- Uday (10/5): Great location and staff -
- Cynthia1109 (9/5): Superb - Staffs at the reception were very friendly and thoughtful.
- Luke (5/5): Great to be in HK had a good time in the city - Location was ideal for us as we arrived by train and only had a day and a half to explore staying this central was a big bonus. Room was tiny and even though we selected an option avaiable when we booked for two larger beds we were told that cost extra. i would say the listing was misleading
- Mark (8/5): - I arrived at night and it was raining. So walking to a restaurant was not really an option. I have stayed here many times over the last 20 years. I was on my way to China and it is very convenient to the China Ferry, which is why I stayed here.
- Keisha (6/5): Okay Stay - It was okay, wish the walls weren’t bubbled. And a microwave in the room. Small space, need better lighting in the bathroom if you are a woman.
- H3473CYmarks (4/5): Only worth going here for the photo opportunity - We stayed here as part of the package deal for the Coldplay concert, an annoying extra expense as it was the practice of packaging the tickets up with hotels that mean that it was so difficult to get tickets alone. Check-in was nightmarish, a forty-five minute wait, probably a result of the Coldplay rush but it would have been useful to have had more staff on. The lack of a swimming pool is a disappointment in a building this iconic and an alleged four star hotel in Hong Kong. The numerous entrances and exits are confusing, particularly when ordering food for delivery. Finally the rooms are nothing to write home about, relatively comfortable but also small and with all the design flourishes of a Travelodge. Avoid unless you have no choice, you won't be appalled but you will be underwhelmed.
- Arielle (3/5): Photos are deceiving, do not recommend - Location was good, very central and near the West Kowloon station. Check-in was one of the slowest we’ve seen, extremely long. We were not given the room that we booked and were given an accessible room.
The room was small, old furniture, wall paper was peeling of the walls, there was mould in the shower, smelt like cigarettes. There is carpet everywhere which makes it a pain to roll your suitcase around. I’m not sure how this is considered a 4 star hotel, I would give it a 3.
After complaining about our room, we were offered a small upgrade, but decided to change to a more premium room (suite) entirely which was still very old and still had some mould in the shower. Do not recommend, there are better 4 star hotels in Hong Kong. Only reason to choose is for location near the station, if not, avoid.
- Roxanne (10/5): - Lovely hotel that is atop 中港城, and very conveniently located next to Austin MTR and walking distance to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR, Stars Avenue, Star Ferry Terminal.
Room is well furnished. Staff were friendly. Concierge was helpful.
- Luiz (6/5): Good place but old hotel - Locations is perfect, near all attractions and main points. Rooms are very small. Breakfast does not show lots of options.
- John (10/5): - Great place to stay. Close to everything
- Jie Ling (10/5): - I’m happy to stay this hotel
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): - The view was amazing! I love the areas of creativity that was displayed when you walk outside around the hotel.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Great room
Great pool, though annoying you have to buy a swim cap
Good coffee downstairs
- Siang (8/5): Very good -
- Siang (8/5): Very good -
- Tammy (8/5): - Very convenient for our one night stay. We needed to take the ferry and it’s in the same building. Great area and easy access to transportation
- John (8/5): - Nice hotel, only problem is noisy.
- Hao (8/5): - The property lacks some of the modern creature comforts such as USB outlets and even international power outlets. The room we stayed in didn't have a desk or a sofa. There was a chair with a very hard surface, so it wasn't very comfortable to sit on.
- Kevin (10/5): - Great location
- Sok (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nikita (8/5): Very good -
- Captain (6/5): Pleasant - room size and quality
- Hung (7/5): I like the location of the hotel. It's so easy to access to. - Convenient and comfortable Lack of an alarm clock and courtesy bottle water
- Xavier (3/5): good hotel at the 90's. need urgent update. - location Need urgent update, old and ugly, carpet is not the cleanest floor. Shower not good, not clean. Need to be renewed urgently.
- KEE (8/5): - Good location but it’s about 10 mins walk to Tsim Sha Tsui . Airport bus A25 stops at the hotel . Easy access to China Ferry terminal . No ferry to Macau but the shops there arrange land transport if you want convenience
- Tarfa (7/5): Good - I like the staff for the cleaning room they are polite
And i didn’t like that they charge me twice for the room saying that the first just hold and will return shortly and nothing returned yet!
- 854carissak (10/5): Convenient - I live in this hotel in 2024 of May Until now
I feel that Royal Pacific Hotel is very convenient to live and
Eat or even go shopping and taking MTR
The price is affordable
Room are clean
Large
Also, the Local Integration is full of Decor and design that reflect the local culture, giving guests a sense of place.
- KEE (6/5): - Located on top of China HK city with transport options to various parts of China , macau . There are bus stops that bring you to various places and also the airport bus stops right infront of the airport if you are departing HK . Rooms are smaller than many others for the price you pay
- msfiyah01 (10/5): Lovely place to stay when in Hong Kong! - PROS:
• The hotel smells really nice
• Rooms are small, but cute and cozy. Decor is simplistic and minimalist, but neat and well cared for.
• There's an air purifier in the room.
• There's an electric tea kettle in the room, as well as porcelain teacups and whiskey glasses.
• Plush, thick, soft, fluffy towels
• The common areas are beautiful, clean, and well kept.
• Lots of mirrors in the room make it feel a bit bigger, and make it easier to do makeup without hovering over the sink
• Laundry service is available in the hotel
• The hotel provides disposable slippers
• The front desk responds to requests quickly
• Room service is fantastic. The service is quick, and the food is delicious. I ordered Singapore vermicelli noodles (my favorite dish!) without pork and they were wonderful. The price was reasonable too. They also gave me the option to charge it to my room or have the staff bring the credit card machine to the room with my order. I appreciated the ability to choose the option that worked best and was most convenient for me.
• The restaurant offers limited but delicious breakfast options, including of selection of both Asian and American foods.
• The shower gets hot very quickly. It also has a handheld nozzle so you don't have to do the 'rotisserie chicken thing' to rinse off.
CONS:
• There are very few electrical outlets in the room. One on each side of the bed, one in the floor in the hallway, and one in the bathroom. There are no USB outlets.
• There is no iron or ironing board in the room.
• No microwave or refrigerator in the room
• There are no washcloths in the room
• There is only one lock on the door (it looks like the swing bar was removed at some point)
• The lighting in the bathroom is dim and yellow which makes doing makeup particularly challenging.
- Whitney (8/5): - We enjoyed it overall.

- Kin Ping Louisa (8/5): - Room size is small. Inconvenient to MTR transport, shopping and foods activities.
- Kin Ping Louisa (6/5): - Inconvenient
- Shi Xuan (8/5): - Walkable distance to Kowloon Railway station and Tsim Sha Tsui, as well as the Victoria harbor.
Pretty spacious room with a water view, but it is a bit run down. Noticed some mouldy stains on the curtains as well..
- judyh848 (8/5): Hong Kong 3 nights stopover Feb.2025 - We stayed in this hotel many years ago and chose it again because of it's location.. Clean but very small room but as we were out all day it didn’t matter too much. Kettle for coffee/Tea in the room. Very good, varied breakfast buffet and efficient, friendly staff in the restaurant at breakfast
The location could not be better. There is a pedestrian bridge to a lovely park.
Very near to shopping and also within walking distance to the Pier. Also, near to the promenade and to some restaurants.
- Arthur (9/5): Room is very spacious and clean. - Outstanding location The bed and the pillow.
- Ron (6/5): - Rooms need renovation
- Explore723009 (10/5): Nice stay for 4 nights in Hongkong - Nice ocean view from our room. lNice walk along water front to ocated Habour City and Star Avenue. Friendly and helpful staff at the concierge and bell desk.
