• Rui (7/5): apartment with very good location and that we would stay again in case we return to Firenze :) - the location was good next to the station and 10 min walk from the city center. Frederico was fantastic receiving us in a warm and friendly way and with a lot of suggestions the apartment is on the 3rd floor without elevator; and on the kitchen we miss some tools to make soup - but Frederico told us he will provide them for next clients :)

• Ying (10/5): We’ll be back! - We had a wonderful stay at the Blacksheep B&B in Florence. The location is absolutely perfect—just steps from the train station and within easy walking distance to almost all major attractions, which made our trip incredibly convenient. What truly made this stay special, however, was the kindness and generosity of the host. On our departure day, since we had a late evening train and no new guests arriving, he graciously allowed us to keep the room until nearly 8 PM instead of just storing our luggage. This meant so much to us and made the end of our trip completely stress-free. The bed was comfortable, room was clean and well maintained. The stairs are manageable, make me feel we live there rather than just visit. Highly recommend!
• Felt (10/5): You won't be disappointed! - We had a wonderful stay at the Black Sheet B&B. Nothing we would change. Frederico was an amazing host and made sure that we were comfortable, assisted us with our several large suitcases, and even gave us some amazing restaurant recommendations. Frederico spent some time with us to ensure that we would be able to find the amazing site seeing places in Florence. The location is within walking distance to the train and bus stations, laundromat, shopping, restaurants, and sites. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Florence. The stairs were difficult for my mother as there is no elevator. Frederico personally met us at arrival and departure to assist with our luggage. He more than made up for the lack of elevator!

• Norma (9/5): - Enjoyed getting fresh expresso every morning with the nepresso machine provided in the kitchen area. Quiet area very near the main train station, making the ride on the tramvia from the airport very easy and inexpensive. Federico met me at the B and B and carried my bag up. Showed me all the amenities, kitchen area, etc. He made some excellent suggestions of places to eat or visit. The room was very comfortable. There is also an Italian washer/dryer in the kitchen area. I personally missed the actual door of the B and B only because the number 53 is located higher up on the wall than the normal area of the other numbers.

He welcomed us warmly and even surprised us with delicious croissants on our first and last day — such a sweet gesture. 🥐 He also helped us carry our luggage, which we really appreciated. The apartment itself is lovely, cozy, and very convenient — just a short walk to the train station and close to many attractions. The only thing to note is the flight of stairs, but it’s manageable and worth it for the great location and hospitality. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Federico’s place to anyone visiting!
• Maureen (10/5): Wonderful B&B in the heart of Florence with a lovely host! - While the property was up several flight of stairs our host Frederico helped with our luggage. We had the triple room with en-suite which was very spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable! Frederico was so pleasant and provided us with a map and guidance on where to visit during our time in Florence. Breakfast is help yourself in the main kitchen which worked well for us and we found it a very relaxing start to our day. The property is super close to all the main attractions and it provided us with a sanctuary to retreat when we needed to escape the crowds! We stayed for 3 nights. Frederico responded to our messages very quickly prior to arrival and we arranged our departure with him via what’s app as we left early. I would highly recommend this property!!

The location was close to the city center, making it convenient for exploring the old town. He also provided water and milk coffee, which was incredibly helpful! There is no elevator, and it is really tiring for elderly people at home to go up and down the stairs😩.

The flat is located in a busy neighbourhood with many cafes and restaurants nearby, very close to main train terminal but is very quiet at the same time. I can't think of anything negative.

From offering insider tips on local restaurants and hidden gems to assisting with transportation and day trip planning, their hospitality made me feel completely at home. Nothing!

• Eliso (8/5): good experience for the short stay. - Federico is reliable and kind, he will take care of you from the arrival to the departure carrying luggage to upstairs and down. Very easy access after the train station in a 5 minutes. Some difficulties were with AC in the night time because of the old construction of the building. However the location was very good for easy and short access to the historical centre. Around the corner there was Express Carfur where you can buy any food you prefer for your breakfast if the Italian breakfast is not yours. the kitchen of b&b was accessable 24 hours. B&B was spotless . many stairs to access up.

He was very responsive to things but does not live near the property so if something occurs he has quite a drive to get there. The bathroom was large and beautifully decorated. He offered very lovely pastries & juice for the morning and gave great suggestions on places to go to in Florence. We were there in the hot summer in July for 2 nights. We had a large room but the A/C only worked in one part of the room. It did not reach the room w/the single bed so it was very hot and hard to sleep. The common area where the kitchen and seating area is is also not air conditioned so it was not a place to linger but is a very nice space. The drain in our shower was clogged and water overflowed all over the bathroom. Our host did address it as quickly as he could after reporting this but it was an inconvenience to not be able to shower that morning before touring the city due to the heat.

Omg, he goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay and enjoy your time in Florence! From the first message to the last one you can feel how nice and welcoming he is! Not only he greeted us and helped us with our heavy luggage, but also took his time to recommend restaurants, shops and best views of the city. Thanks to his recommendation we took amazing photos from Piazzale Michelangelo at sunset! We were stupid to forget our shirt and he took all the effort to send it to our next stop in Italy!!! I mean that tells you a lot! The property is within 2-5 mins from the train station and within a walking distance from Duomo! The room itself was clean and I especially loved the design with all the small details: pictures, little decor statues, the common area where you can make yourself breakfast. Location is super near Florence main station and is a short walk to everywhere. The oldest pharmacy in the world is a stone throw away as well as a highly rated Florentine beef restaurant 5 mins walk away. The apartment has everything you will need to stay comfortably in terms of toiletries and things for bkfast, beverages, coffee , water etc etc. Overall a very pleasant stay Nothing. All is good

• Yaling (9/5): Great location. Comfy rooms. Great hosts. - WiFi was good. It's on a busy street but the rooms faced to the back and was quiet at night. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. The hosts were very nice and had great communications. The apartment is on the 4th floor without an elevator. Carrying big suitcases upstairs wasn't a fun thing, but we made it! Pack light if planning to stay here.
• Moara (10/5): Exceptional - I don't even know where to start, because everything was amazing 😍! My mom and I are convinced Federico is the best host we have EVER had! He made us feel like home right from the very start: he waited for us outside (in the late evening) and helped us with our luggages, offered us coffee, tea, snacks and gave us suggestions, maps and books of Florence which were super helpful to us. I can't say enough how welcoming he was 😊. The apartment: the room was beautiful and so comfortable, specially the beds! You can tell everything is of really high quality. The bathroom was also a 10/10 and Everything was 150% clean. We even had wine glasses and a wine opener in our room and a fridge with water/snacks in it 🥰. The kitchen: full with tea, coffee, biscuits, cereal, marmalade, butter, milk for all guests..what can I say? Federico is just amazing! And also the kitchen has everything you need for cooking. I will definitely be recommending this place to all of my friends and family when visiting Florence.😊
• Tugba (10/5): Top staying point in Firenze - Federico is the most friendly host i’ve ever seen. He accepted early check-in, guided us details about the places we can visit, street by street. Also suggested very nice restaurants, galeteries. There are only 2 rooms in the flat, so you feel that you’re at your own home. It’s very clean and silent. It’s in 4th floor and no elevators which is very normal in this kind of historical apartment but stairs are not too high and nb of stairs are not that much, so it’s not an disadvantage if you do not need any equipments designed for disabled. The location is also perfect, it’s near train station and close to Duomo and also all other famous points. We would like to stay here if we can come back.
• Cristina (9/5): Well located cozy and clean apartment with a fantastic host - The location was very convenient - 5-10 minute walk to the main Florence train station and 10-15 minute walk to the main sites. Our host Federico was very attentive and provided recommendations. He would respond to the What´s Up quickly and cordially. He helped us carry the big luggage up the stairs and kindly let us use the extra room in the apartment which was unoccupied. The kitchen was well stuffed with the basic necessities to make tea & coffee, have a light breakfast and cook (we did not though). The apartment was cozy, was very clean and had character. We enjoyed our stay at Black Sheep B&B very much and would highly recommend it. The flight of stairs to get to the apartment can be a challenge for somebody with mobility issues. Area felt safe. Host was wonderful and very accommodating to all our needs, free breakfast, very responsive to messages, room was big and beds were SO comfortable and pillows were memory foam and the most comfortable pillows ever! Building felt safe, 3 locked doors to get to our room. Communal area with kitchen where we could use frig and microwave and washer there also. Lots of stairs to climb as others have mentioned, but not a big deal for us.

Also, you get access to a full fletched kitchen! And cookies! Getting to the place can be a bit tricky (because the only sign that you can see is on the doorbell), but that's it. Pretty minor thing, really.

• Ekaterina (10/5): Wonderfull b&b very close to the train station - Great b&b very close to the train station, which you appreciate when arriving by train with several heavy bags. Everything is walking distance from there, including sightseeing, restaurants, bakeries, coffee bars, etc. The apartment is clean and tidy and nicely furnished. There is a lot of room in the guest room itself + you can use the kitchen/living room area and a washing machine. We stayed with 3 people: two adults and one child. In spite of the building being close to the busy street and train station, it is pretty quiet inside the guest room! The host is super welcoming and responsive. He gave us many great food suggestions and helped with luggage. We would definitely stay again if we returned to Florence.

Great balance for price and convenience. Super nice and helpful host. Flexible checkin methods. Always try to help as much as he can. Really appreciate. Third floor without lift is little bit inconvenient. But if you travel light then no problem at all. Plus the host always try to help if you need.

The host is very informative and made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast is also lovely, with fresh croissants and juice/coffee, but the host is willing to accommodate other food requests ! The building is a little aged so no lift. You need to carry your luggage upstairs which probably would be a challenge for old people .

Federico is very good man, payed attention to every detail, gave us recommendations to visit sites and to restaurants. He creates very comfortable atmosphere to guests, breakfast also was service with good quality including our preferences. The property is in a good location 3 mins from train station and close to sites. in the same street we found laundry self service on the direction to the center. maybe just steps to the property, but that’s all

Federico, responsável pelo atendimento no local nos deu dicas do que visitar e onde comer em Florença, estando sempre a nossa disposição para orientações. No café da manhã, tivemos possibilidade de escolher alguns itens que gostaríamos de comer no dia seguinte, e foi preparado no horário combinado. A localização é muito central, a poucos metros da estação de trem Santa Maria Novela. O quarto é muito bem decorado, muito espaçoso e confortável. banheiro muito espaçoso e limpo, boa ducha. Sinal de wifi disponível em todo o espaço. Canais de TV disponíveis. O único porém para quem viaja com crianças ou idosos é que não há elevador, como nos prédios antigos de Florença. Recomendo muito a hospedagem.
