The property is relatively outdated with carpet in the hallway. The room has a strong smell of bleach. The breakfast is OK but almost no changes from day to day

It could be that for this price in Rome the hotel is good as well as the area, however from other experiences I would rate this as average. However, I would like to note that it was very nice of the hotel to upgrade us to a junior suite. The staff were adequate. Again, this may be that we are not used to the customs here. Nothing was particularly unpleasant, but nothing was above average either. A suggestion the the cleaning staff would be to use a little less fragrance, as it seeped into our clothing and we could smell it all day while exploring Rome.

It was extremely clean, well-maintained, and had very helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent—definitely 5 stars—with multiple healthy options, all delicious and a great start to our day. We also appreciated the nearby water fountain, which made it easy to refill our bottles. Overall, we had a wonderful experience—thank you!

The rooms are spacious and clean, the hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the location is within walking distance of the major sites, including the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain (10 min walking). The breakfast is terrific as well, and the breakfast staff is very kind and friendly. The front desk staff helped us regularly, from booking taxis to obtaining directions to offering advice on places to see, etc. We will definitely return to Rome and stay here!

The rooms were clean and tidy with a very Italian feel to them and the bed was comfortable. Greatful for the aircon at the end of a big day. Buffet breakfast was amazing and Dorothy was so lovely. Highly recommended.

- VITHI (8/5): - Nice little hotel about 15 minute walk to trevi fountain. It was clean and rooms are quite spacious. Could do with a wider breakfast choice but still OK. Keys are old school so you have to hand them in everytime you leave the hotel. One thing I did wonder is how they check when you collect the key to go back to the room as all you have to say is your room number and they give you your key. Also i would recommend providing water and perhaps a kettle. You have to pay for water. Staff were friendly.

The breakfast was very nice and the restaurant was great. Wonderful staff! The rooms were big and comfortable especially the big king size bed. Just around the corner there are nice restaurants with great outdoor sittings. The rooms are big for European standards, very clean and comfortable bed big beds too. The shower was great lots of water pressure. Their restaurant was very good with a nice outside patio open in the evening. Breakfast came with the room it was very nice.

Everything was impeccably clean and the bed linens were high quality. The shower was a good size and had ample water pressure. The staff was efficient and helpful. The breakfast is good although the breakfast room is a bit too warm during this summer's record heat. Overall, I would stay here again with no hesitation whatsoever.

Nice neighborhood with many shops and restaurants nearby. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast buffet was well appointed (the croissant were excellent). Room was spacious and the A/C worked very well. We would stay here again.

- Melanie (10/5): Quiet and Understated Luxury - We travel to Italy frequently for business. Hotel La Residenza provides the comfort and quiet we seek on our trips plus reliable WIFI, A/C and a generous breakfast with many options. There is also an on-site restaurant where hotel guests can enjoy a discount. Our king-size bed was very comfortable (rare these days), and the bathroom and show are large. Bonus: the amenities offered included body cream which is rare these days. My only criticism is that this hotel should offer a complimentary bottle of welcome water per person and not charge. It is a welcome detail especially since Rome sizzles in the summer! I would stay here again. The hotel is close to the Borghese Gardens and other attractions but not in a crowded area. Nice!

The only concern is having stairs to the hotel main entrance so you won't want to travel with heavy luggages. Public parking available 2 blocks away. - Michelle (10/5): - Hotel room spotlessly clean. Quiet rooms, can't hear other guests, anyone in hallways. Bathroom very spacious (shower very large, with complimentary travel items - shampoo, shower gel, etc.) Staff (on reception/breakfast) very friendly, helpful. Reception on desk 24/7 so no issue if your flight is late/night flight. Great location, near metro station Barberini (5 minute walk). Also 5 minute walk to the Spanish steps.

- Milton (8/5): - The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was very spacious and nice! The shower was amazing! However, the front desk staff were VERY unfriendly. Both the gentleman at check in and the lady in the evening. Extremely unkind and almost rude. It really needs to be addressed.
- Dennis (10/5): - The staff at the hotel was very professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasteful. The bonus for me was the location of the hotel. Within walking distance to Villa Borghese, the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, shopping and dining. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again myself.

- Susan (8/5): - Beautiful heritage hotel with amazing & attentive staff! Only rated 4 stars at this time because of all the construction noise throughout the whole night. (We didn’t have a good sleep) Restaurant food & staff were also VERY good! When the construction (in the neighbourhood) is complete I would not hesitate to recommend this unique hotel.

- Jose (10/5): - This Expedia “find”(just came as a suggestion in the search)was amazing! Close to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and many places to eat along the way. Front desk personnel(forgot name)was very informative and provided a map and gave directions to and how to get mayor spots. Breakfast was included and delicious ever morning! Will come back and highly recommend to any one!
- Marianne (10/5): Fabulous find in Rome - This hotel was fabulous set in a great neighborhood with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The room was large with a king-size bed (rare find in Europe) and the bath was updated with double vanity and rain shower head. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
