• katiascho (7/5): Localização boa. Limpeza ruim - Excelente localização. Ótima cama, travesseiros e edredons. É ótimo também contar com minibar no quarto. A academia é super bem equipada, mas muito suja e mal mantida. Havia um vazamento em cima da esteira que a deixou suja. A poeira nos equipamentos e nos cantos era muito visivel. Vale dar uma faxina. No quarto também faltavam alguns cuidados de limpeza. Entre o frigobar e o armario a poeira fazia gruminhos.

• Lars (5/5): Tolle Lage und funktional aber dunkel und teuer. - Die Lage ist super, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und preislich attraktiv!!! Das Parkhaus ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig (Kfz im Fahrstuhl) funktioniert aber nach Buchung in der App. Das Hotel selbst, die Flure und das Zimmer selbst sind sehr dunkel. Der Toiletten- und Duschbereich sind quasi im Zimmer und nur durch eine (dunkle, blickdichte) Glaskabine getrennt. Für das Gebotene ist es einfach viel zu teuer.

The bed was especially comfortable compared to those in other hotels. Many attractions within walking distance. Nothing to complain about.

• Jimmy (8/5): Awesome location, worth paying for - After spending five nights here in early April 2026, it became very clear why this property remains consistently popular with visitors who want to experience Amsterdam properly without relying too heavily on transport. The hotel sits right beside Vondelpark and only a short walk from Leidseplein, which immediately places you in one of the best areas of the city for restaurants, bars, nightlife and general atmosphere. For a first-time visitor especially, it is difficult to overstate how convenient the location really is. The twin room felt somewhat smaller than it appeared in promotional photos online, and the beds were positioned closer together than expected - a lot closer than the pictures on Booking.com indicated.

Meer Nederlandssprekend personeel, toch tenminste tweetalig en niet enkel Engels! Jammer koffiemachine kapot in de Bar 's avonds, dus geen Irish Koffie meer!

• Ludovica (5/5): Poteva andare meglio! - La posizione dell’hotel è perfetta per spostarsi comodamente per la città. La camera era inoltre molto silenziosa e il letto comodissimo. Migliorerei la pulizia delle stanze e le rifiniture (purtroppo abbiamo trovato l’armadio scorticato, il tappeto macchiato e abbiamo dovuto chiedere due volte un paio di ciabatte) che non ritengo all’altezza del prezzo altissimo della struttura! Inoltre mi è arrivata la fattura di una bottiglia di vino che ovviamente non abbiamo consumato, anche perché sono incinta e siamo tornati in hotel solamente per dormire!

• Chin Wei Yen (7/5): Comfortable Stay - Location is central. Vondel Park is next door. We took a stroll. Lots of people in the park when weather was nice. Across the hotel there are lots of places to eat; 2 Streets to choose from. We arrived early but they had room available and we managed to check-in immediately to our room which we appreciated very much. General lighting and wall painting a bit gloomy. The room corridor also very dark. Bathroom don't have hangers for clothes or towels. Bathroom door opens outwards so water on the surface drips onto the floor.

• ian (5/5): It was comfortable… but lacked that 4 star rating and was expensive at £400 per night - Room was clean bed was comfortable… Air con didn’t work asked for it to be fixed but never was sorted … tv was tiny … bathroom mirror no anti fog …when checking in the staff couldn’t get the check in system working … after 30 mins we agreed to let us go to our room and we could sort it in the morning.

Da consigliare per chi ama i musei - haineken. Vicino al parco cittadino molto bello e rilassante. All'arrivo in Hotel l'accoglienza molto fredda e poco empatica. Ci è stato chiesto una cauzione di 50 euro a Notte bloccando la cifra di 3 notti su Carta di Credito, tale informazione non era presente ne su booking ne nelle comunicazioni successive ricevute dalla struttura. Nella stanza il set cortesia non è stato mai reintegrato per 3 giorni consecutivi. C'era una bottiglia acqua come regalo e anche questa è stata l'unica in un soggiorni di 3 notti (una seconda solo su insistenza con il personale di piano). Tale acqua serviva per preparare una tisana visto che era presente un bollitore in stanza. Camera con bagno direttamente in camera quindi poca privacy. Alla colazione seppur servizio a buffet c'era un menu alla carta ma con limite di una sola richiesta per persona, cosa mai capitata in tutti gli altri HOTEL di cui sono stato ospite in precedenza.
• Vidal (1/5): What happened to this hotel ?!! - To increase the number of rooms, the room sizes were reduced. We stayed as two people, and it was nearly impossible to fit two suitcases in these rooms. You cannot walk around without bumping into each other, and the rooms have lost all sense of comfort. The room cleaning service was terrible. The carpet in the room was dirty, there were no slippers, and while there were towels in the bathroom, there was no bathrobe—you have to specifically request these items. I don’t understand how a hotel room can lack basic slippers. They seem to have cut corners on everything under the guise of sustainability. The internet service they offer is extremely slow and constantly cuts out. It was incredibly slow and didn’t even work in certain parts of that tiny room. There is no room service in the hotel. The reception is a disaster—they don’t answer the phone, and you have to ring multiple times. When someone finally picks up, they are extremely rude. The coffee machine in the room was very old. I wanted to have coffee at 10:30 PM, but I couldn’t get any. When I called the reception, they said there was no service to the room. When I asked for milk for my coffee, they sent something resembling powdered milk. There wasn’t even milk for coffee in the entire hotel. The hotel is run entirely by an amateur, indifferent, and incompetent team. On previous trips, I stayed at NH Hotel, and then I stayed at this hotel once or twice and was very satisfied. After that, I always chose this hotel for my trips. However, after the hotel changed ownership, it no longer resembles its former self. For people who care about reviews, my advice is to choose another hotel; this hotel is truly not worth the price.

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially at checkin and breakfast. Strong recommend for the waffles and pancakes from the breakfast menu! The location is excellent too: a short walk from tram connections at the Leidseplein, and ideally located for a walk into Amsterdam or around the Vondelpark. Seating in the bar area is a bit sparse and some seats are draughty from the front door. Adding a wider range of comfortable seating there would be great.

Personeel was erg aardig. Welkomsdrankje kon later genuttigd worden. De locatie van het hotel was geweldig en het ontbijt heerlijk. Geen enkele klacht!! geen klachten
