- Bethan (10/5): -
- Meaghan (10/5): We loved our stay whilst in London for 3 days, it was the perfect space for our family to enjoy the sights of London. Th - The location was perfect and offered everything we needed for a family of 5
- Sebastian (7/5): Pretty nice - The apartment is central located, everything you need is nearby, the size and facilities of the accommodation It was actually clean, but there were stains on the chairs, blinds, and sheets. Upon closer inspection, it wasn't as clean as expected. It was more than fine for sleeping and showering!
- Jeramy (10/5): - The property was located in a nice area, with convenient with pubs, restaurants, and groceries just across the street. Perfect place for the family to relax after a long day exploring London.
- Mathangi (7/5): Good -
- Joji (9/5): Superb - Good and neat apartment for staying
- Jeremy (8/5): - Great location. Needs its own WiFi not shared from next door
- David (10/5): Clean comfortable affordable - Fantastic apartment will definitely use again for future visits to London
- Sonia (8/5): Great location in lively neighbourhood. Basic but does the job. - Location was great for Victoria - lots of supermarkets, pubs and takeaways close by. Very basic - slept 6 but didn't really have enough crocker/cutlery/seats round the table for proper cooking/eating. Could get the TV to work properly.
- Charlotte (10/5): Comfortable and convenient - Easy access.good communication. Clean. Comfortable beds. Only issue was cleaner came before check out time
- Jan (8/5): Nice and clean place for a couple of days - Pleasant location, cleanliness, key handover, communication, spacious shower. Weak flow of warm water (it stayed lukewarm for a long time), soap scent, small "double bed".
- Jenna (7/5): Great location - Host communication was clear and quick.
Location was great!
Property itself was a brilliant house and clean. Wall could be doing with a lick of paint
Basic soft and hard furnishings either not there or rundown, wouldn’t take much for this nice property to be great !
- Tarmo (5/5): Passable - The location was excellent, making it very convenient for our movements. We also had easy access to the property with clear and straightforward self-check-in instructions The lounge furniture and curtains are quite worn and could benefit from replacement to enhance the overall comfort and appearance of the space!
- Pablo (8/5): Very good -
- Charles (7/5): Good -
- Kang (7/5): Good -
- Bárbara (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (8/5): We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the fact that it was very well situated. - The property was very nice ,it was close to supermarket, restaurants and pubs.
And a very short walk to the main and tube station. Nothing
- Erma (8/5): Very comfortable place and accessible - None
- Bhageria (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leonardo (5/5): Passable - The shower and beds were very poor, old and not comfortable.
On the site it says the property is located in one address, but we were told that for the 2-bedroom apartment we would have to go to another address 2 blocks away. It's not too far unless if you have small children. When questioned about why we were placed in another address, the owner was rude.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Kent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cristina (9/5): Superb - Good location, near to Victoria Station, good price
- Isabel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelvin (4/5): Great location. Expensive. Not particularly clean - Great location Cleanliness was not great. Bathroom walls and floors not clean. No coffee/tea/milk for guests
- Helena (7/5): Great value! - Great location. Basic but as expected for price. Although I am happy it is basic and the cost reflects this, I feel there could have been some basic additional details like lampshades on the ceiling lights, bedside tables, bedside lamps etc.
- Jerry (8/5): Would stay again with a group of friends if needed somewhere to stay for the night - Property was fine, we were only in there for a few hours but the place was good, check in was easy and there was everything you need.
Didn’t seem much noise overnight, street seemed quiet.
- Wong.media (8/5): Very good -
- Sheila (9/5): Superb - Location is excellent, walking distance to several restaurants and grocery store, so convenient!
- Francis (8/5): Fine - Very good location, although occasional noise from the restaurants downstairs. Pleasant experience overall.
- Zulu21 (4/5): Would not stay here again, sketchy neigborhood, poorly stalked apartment with wornout beds. - The location of the property was very good. The beds were the worst mattress I have ever slept on. The shower door was broken. the bath tub was a joke. The washer was usless since there was no dryer or clothes line for drying clothes. The court yard that had a singel clothes line was unacesssable. The Kitchen was poorly stalked and only had one small fry pan and wok type pan for cooking and both pans were badly worn and had to be scrubed to remove crud before they could be used. would have been nice to have a drying cloth and some paper towels along with a salt and pepper shaker at the very least. The neigborhood seems a bit sketchy.
- Hall (9/5): Good place for our family. Convenient location. - Convenient to Victoria station. Nice layout. Good communication. Bathtub slow to drain and a bit awkward. No face cloths or hand towels.
- Vicken (7/5): Good -
- Lynne (8/5): Very good -
- Agnieszka (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, easy check in and check out.
Everything what I need in the apartment. Nothing
- Thainna (8/5): Very good - Great location, clean and adorable. Beds were uncomfortable. Tv didn’t work well, couch was also uncomfortable.
- Kathryn (7/5): Good - Great location. Nice to have a little patio. A few maintenance issues.
- Cosycampbell (8/5): Great location for a stay in central London! - The apartment was in a great location on a small but bustling side street. There was plenty of space for the four of us. Facilities were excellent. There was some confusion on our part around getting into the apartment with the lock box code but a phone call to the host got us in promptly. If you stay here and are driving, I recommend using the Plaza Palace Hotel for parking through the Just Park app. The bathroom was clean however, the shower hadn't been cleaned before our arrival. Based on the cleanliness of the rest of the space, I imagine this was an oversight.
- Jo (5/5): It was ok, great location, but could with a spruce up. - The location was good - 5 min walk from Victoria train station and lots of restaurants on the doorstep plus a sainsburys across the road. It had a good bathroom and nice shower. As it was advertised as a 'Stylish' appartment' it didn't live up to expectations. It was basic and quite tired in places. It could do with a general update. The TV did not have a good reception and kept gliching. It could do with a few extra touches. Lamps in the bedroom, light shades, coffee table as there is nothing to put cups etc on when in the seating area.
It was quite noisy but that's to be expected on a busy road. The price was expensive, it was the London Marathon Weekend so all prices were highly inflated.
- Egidijus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachael (8/5): Perfect place as a base for a family to explore London - The location was fantastic, it felt very safe and grocery stores are in walking distance. Everything was cleaned nicely and it looked like it had been recently painted. In fact most negative points that had been mentioned in other reviews seemed to have been rectified. Although we found the general upkeep ( for example the outside area) pretty typical of a British household- lacking care and attention in some areas. We only stayed one night but even if we had stayed longer it was perfectly acceptable for a family of 5. There is a full kitchen including a dishwasher and washing machine. There are also two bathrooms although the ensuite does not have a door. We took this basement flat as it was the cheapest, at just over three hundred Pounds , available at short notice over Easter. It was perfect for a family with 3 teenagers as a base for exploring London. You need to be VERY careful when opening the lock box. As mentioned in an earlier review it is just above the drain and yes, worst case scenario- the key fell exactly through the holes in the cover and down into the drain . OMG, we had to put our hand down into the water to get it back. I felt a bit confused with which place we had rented as it was not the one shown in the initial pictures on Booking. Although a very clear explanation was provided after booking as to where the property was and how to get in. It seems the flat above has a storage place in the basement opposite ( which explains why some reviews mention people going up and down the stairs to this flat) although we did not notice anyone using the stairs whilst we were there. The bed sofa needs a good clean as it has quite a few stains on it.
- Daniela (9/5): Great place for Family vacation - Excellent location. Recently renewed apartment. Street is busy at all times but apartment is silent. Fantastic terrace. Mattress are not the best, few glasses missing but overall a very pleasant stay
- Magdalena (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (10/5): Homely - Extremely spacious and is a good environment for me and all my friends Nothing
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (8/5): Great time - Location was amazing Nowhere to sit in kitchen so a bit squashy probably ok for 4 people but we had 6 - so our fault really not theirs.
- Asif (6/5): Get ready to take your luggage downstairs before you open the door. Sometime noisy from top floors - Nearby restaurants and shops None of the toilets had lock
- Pierre (8/5): Very good -
- Marquez (5/5): mediocre - location noise. lack of stable heating. lack of stable hot water in shower. beds were cheap. no disclosure in advance that it was a basement unit.
- Fatihah (7/5): Good -
- Jane (10/5): Perfect location for what we wanted to do, everything in walking distance . - Location
- Carol (7/5): We had a good stay and would stay again - Very good location for Victoria Station
it also has a very good restaurant under. The flat was clean, the beds comfortable and sheets well laundered
Very warm on a cold night. Very Good kitchen and Bathroom. Lamps: the lack of.
it would be better to have bedside tables and a lamp at each bed not chairs. We thought one pillow per person was not enough if you were 2 in a bed. The shower grout needs cleaning and the bathroom sink was slow emptying we had to use the drain cleaner. The lounge also could do with a small table and atmosphere lighting.
Key locker a little tricky took 4 attempts
- Miles (8/5): Lovely stay - Great location and easy check in Slightly noisy road with restaurant below
- Mattb97 (9/5): Superb - Great location near tube station and resturants in area
Patio area
Comfy beds The shower didn't drain very well
Sofa bed not the comfiest
- Jamie (8/5): Very good -
- Antoinette (4/5): Disappointing - Location was good and it was clean Fuse went because of a faulty oven, also door of oven wouldn't close. Staff response was poor, didn't answer a call, didn't fix it. We were told to use the microwave. Next response was that the oven wasn't faulty, our phone chargers must have blown a fuse! Very cross at the poor attitude. Did not get the service we paid for. Would not recommend for this reason. Apartment was OK. Shower was poor and bathroom smelling of damp.
- Sreeja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (1/5): Basement flat dreadful - The location Stylish Maisonette and Studio in Victoria is how it is described. It wasn't anything like stylish or a maisonate or studio it was a basement flat, which when you opened the front door the bathroom smells awful and fills the flat. The beds were dreadful, no bedside lockers, no lamps. Two tiny towels. No view. Small outside space no key to get out even if we wanted to, plus it looked a mess empty beer cans. Sofa has seen better days . I could go on and on.Think twice
- Hing (8/5): Very good - Location very near and walkable distance to Victoria station. Easy self check-in and out. Lots of excellent food and beverage options around the neighbourhood. Great bathroom size. street noise especially during weekends, weekdays are fine.
- Breeanna (7/5): Cosy apartment in good location but could use some work to improve the shower situation - It was a great location, close to lots of restaurants, pubs, grocery stores, takeaway food shops, chemists, and anything else you would need. Our original apartment had an emergency issue so was no longer available, but staff booked us into a nearby apartment which was close to the original. It was quite cosy. We liked that the shower/bath was in a separate room from the toilet. Staff also gave clear directions on how to find the property and use self checkin. The sofa bed was uncomfortably hard. The shower dripped non stop, sometimes more like running water than a drip, no matter how tightly we tightened the taps. There was also a ringing coming from the pipes that kept us awake at night. The exhaust fan in the bathroom also stayed on for hours at a time though perhaps this was user error - however, we couldn’t find any switch to turn it off. The area was also noisy, with lots of people walking past at night and their chatter flowed right into the lounge area which is not too bothersome if you’re sleeping in one of the bedrooms but if you’re on the sofa bed it can be disruptive. Although there was a kitchen with all relevant appliances, there were no cooking utensils such as spatulas, tongs, can opener etc., only knives/forks/spoons, so we did not cook anything while there.
- Liz (8/5): Very good - Location was spot on and flexibility allowed us to drop our luggage off before getting keys later. Painting on walls could do with being refreshed.
- Rozaimah (5/5): Passable -
- Kateryna (10/5): Exceptional - Very convenient
- Kyle (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cristina (8/5): Very good location, is enough for a city trip! - Location is very good! The apartment is spacious, kitchen is very well equipped, very good and easy check in and check out. Very loud, no bathroom on first floor, only on second floor.
- Damian (7/5): Good - Location Shower wasn’t the cleanest but not bad.
- Roisin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liz (4/5): Disappointing - location The entrance hallway was extremely dirty, the carpet was thick with dirt
- Anonymous (8/5): Perfect location for the money - Location Furniture
- Jeff (9/5): Superb - Great apartment, clean, beds good, en suite, kitchen, communication. Small negative, the key lock was a little tricky and positioned above a drain where we could have lost the key.
V small pillows 😉.
- Markku (7/5): Good - Location was excellent. Easy access. 1 double bed was a sofabed not suitable for adults. Table and chairs about to break. The showertiles and silicones show some moisture problems. Extractorfan not working.
No answers to messages after arrival.
- Paul (8/5): Good accommodation in a great location - Great location
- Leanne (9/5): Great place to stay, close to sights - Close to all the sights in England. Close to train station and nearby supermarket. Easy to get around. Clean apartment with washing machine to wash/clean clothes. No air conditioning. Across from a pub.
- Simon (8/5): Very good - Great place to stay for a couple of nights in close proximity to the underground. Some tea / coffee would have been a nice touch.
- Dale (9/5): Excellent value! - Nice big space
The shower was amazing
So close to the station and food market
Fans in the room! Only one pillow, but that was the only thing!
- Lee (8/5): Very good -
- Terry (6/5): Great location and unit if they could just get better beds - Surrounding area was very nice, ease of access was simple, the amount of space was large The beds were bad. They were broken down with a deep well in the center. We loved London but could not wait to leave the unit to get a good night's sleep.
- Joyce (7/5): Good location but place needs some work. - Close to transportation, grocery stores, restaurants and walkable to many London sights. Pictures are misleading; there are 3 different properties and we got a different one than first told. Only real shower was in a small bathroom off one of the bedrooms and had no door. People sleeping in that room had to leave so others could use the shower. Stairs and courtyard (which was locked and you couldn’t go in) were unkempt.
- Ringo (8/5): Very good - Good location, several shops and restaurants nearby The apartment could have been more cosy
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Gerat location, very close to Victoria Station.
- Dorothy (1/5): Bad -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - The apartment was clean, WiFi enabled, good location
- Wright (3/5): Great location, but we won't be back. - Location was great. When I reserved the room, the pictures showed a different apartment than we received. We ended up with a basement apartment with a bathroom that had some major plumbing issues. It made the whole apartment smell like a sewer. Someone kept loudly dragging a bicycle up and down the metal stairs all night. Not great to be kept up while trying to recover from jetlag. There were bare minimum amenities. It felt like we were staying in an apartment that had been moved out of except for the beds and table/chairs. No dressers, No hand towels, no washcloths, no kitchen towels, minimal bedding, and pillows that were flat as a pancake. It was clear the hosts had no interest in making their guests feel warmly welcomed.
- Rebecca (3/5): Terrible - The location was good DO NOT STAY HERE!! We had no hot water or heating for the entire duration of our stay and were not offered any alternative accommodation. From the day we arrived the property messaged to say that they would be doing “boiler checks” that day, the boiler was actually broken and was not fixed/ sorted at all during our time there. This was completely unacceptable and really impacted on our enjoyment of our short holiday. After booking based on the location we were only told the exact address the day before we arrived and that it would be one of 3 properties. This does not allow you to make an informed decision about where you are actually staying. Very disingenuous. In the property the kitchen window was cracked, a tiny courtyard but no access that was a dirty mess. There were not enough towels, the towels that were there were threadbare, no tea towel and the most bizarre - no door on the shower room / toilet that we all had to share. Stains on the sofa, dirty cushions only one pillow per person on the very uncomfortable beds & did not look like the pictures on the website at all. Very bad value for money and would not recommend. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND why booking.com endorse this property and we will never use them again.
- Rosemary (7/5): perfect base for London trip - location
space for a group to stay
facilities beds , few maintenance issues , lots of bath mats not towels
- Mukesh (9/5): Superb - Best location, good for 5 people Mattress is not very comfortable.
- Caroline (4/5): Disappointing - The location was absolutely perfect we walked everywhere instead of using public transport No furniture in the bedrooms ie. bedside cabinets, drawers to put clothes.
No mirrors other than the one in the bathroom.
Sofa wasn't the best and the bedsheets were stained.
The apartment was clean just needed a few living comforts.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Sarah (6/5): easy access to property and communication with host was good too . sofa bed is only comfortable for one person really . - location was perfect easy access to where we wanted to go . very basic , no iron was found even though it says one was there .
- Nicola (6/5): Pleasant - Good location for restaurants and tubes. The kitchen and bathroom were clean. Looking at the pictures on the website the place was a little run down, pictures had been taking of the wall leaving behind stains and holes in the walls. It was very basic no finishes touches.
The key holder wasn't the easiest to use.
- Gissel (10/5): Exceptional - location was great! apartment was everything as expected
- Asker (1/5): 1 out of 5 - Location of the place It was not clean, and comfortable. Beds were very bad, soft, and noisy. It gave me a back pain. There was not a table in the kitchen, no paper towels. TV does not work. I got charger more than it's value. Maybe it's good place for single person, definitely not for family.
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zita (9/5): Superb - Very good central location but quiet at the same time. Excellent cafes nearby.
- Mª (8/5): Has everything needed for a good stay - The house is perfectly placed in Victoria. A 5 minute walk to the underground station, loads of excellent restaurants and very nice atmosphere.
The apartment has everything one might need to prepare a meal, all the toilet amenities as well and the rooms are a good size. The beds are not the most comfortable, but the sofa-bed in the living room sleeps easily two people, and it's quite comfortable.
Check-in and check out are also easy to do and very flexible. Unfortunately, since the apartment is located right next to the street, it is possible to hear the noise from outside if you are sleeping in the sofa-bed. It can become uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. However, we understand it's not a fault of the appartement, and it was resolved with noise cancelling earbuds. The mattresses could be more comfortable as well.
- Ian (9/5): Easy to find and the host was very helpful, this will be our first choice when we come to London with friends. - the location it was too short - we were only there for one night.
- Nikki (7/5): location location location! - the location! so central to public transport and major tourist attractions first impression in the hall was not great. and the pictures didn’t reflect the property accurately.
