This was my first time staying in such a property and it was really excellent. The bathroom was perhaps a little small, but other than that our suite was lovely.

Smaller hotel, not for someone who likes the buzz of a big chain-type hotel. This is more quiet, elegant and personal. The suite was exactly what we needed: really comfortable beds, nice bath, spacious living area to relax after a long day. Although a little small for real cooking (and who wants to cook on vacation anyway?), the kitchen was perfect for coffee in the morning with a fridge big enough for the wine we brought from Paris. Next trip to London, I would stay there in a heartbeat!
Verified traveler (10/5): All-Round Exceptional Stay - This review is long overdue, since 2 months have passed since our 13-night stay at this lovely hotel. From the time the courteous driver picked us up at Heathrow (arranged by the hotel's concierge) to checkout, we could not have desired a better experience. Our last visit to London was in September 2000, so many things had obviously changed. The staff were more than happy to make themselves available to all of our questions, and they checked in with us when appropriate to confirm that we were pleased with our accommodations, room-service food, etc. We chose 47 Park Street on a hunch through a Travelocity booking (our first), and I wrote ahead directly to the hotel's reservation personnel and concierge about our desires during our time with them. Because we were celebrating our 37th anniversary and this was a special occasion, I requested assistance with getting tickets to "The Graham Norton Show'" as well as the need for a quiet room in the hotel. To our delight, they put us in Suite 37, and we came back to the hotel after a day of sightseeing to discover a very nice bottle of complimentary champagne and a signed card from the General Manager, expressing the staff's best wishes on our special day. I would list all of the wonderful staff members by name, but I do not wish to leave anyone out, so I'll close by saying everyone did an excellent job to see that our time with them was very special; so much so, that we're returning for 10 nights Christmas week. Cannot wait.
