Location 10. Minutes walk to Quay harbour etc CBD “ Hotel is 2.minutes walk to railway stations .NSW transport services are fantastic debit card for trains buses ferries .

So central to everything Bed was super comfy too They did dishes at the end of stay The toilet kept over flowing and staff kept advising it was just toilet paper even when none was used. We asked the room change however were denied this due to the hotel being busy with room changes and then just said it had been fixed.. we had maintenance who didn’t know what was happening. Also it’s nothing like the pictures it’s very beat up bathrooms toilet kitchen curtains have mold at bottom. Staff were so rude! Super dismissive

• Jacqueline (10/5): Hyde Park Suites was the perfect sanctuary for my Sydney Short Break - Location, easy to get to from airport on the train. Very central, polite and helpful 24 hour concierge. Rooftop spar, was warm. 24 hour convenience store next door. Room was excellent size, with small kitchen. Very impressed. It was completely perfect for the price range and my requirements.

The continued smell of marijuana from another room that staff did not investigate or offer remedies. Upon return after 2 day stay elsewhere we were moved to a nicer room. First room was old and dated, poor facilities and in desperate need of a refurbishment. The lifts were slow and very busy. Communication via email was also very slow.

Only thing l can fault is the air-conditioning wasn't working properly in our room but that was fixed & the TV in the room is placed in an awkward spot so we had to move the cabinet it was on so we could watch it properly. Not deal breakers so l would still recommend this hotel.

Very spacious apartment room for a longer stay. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. An excellent location for walking to theatres and transport. Stepping out of the lift I was shocked to see the state of the walls and carpet and a large cockroach running around. Filthy walls and carpet.Not a good impression. Door to my room was very unsecure. One reasonable push would have opened it. Other security problem regarding fire escape door not resolved despite staff discussion. Will follow up directly with hotel.
• Hannah (5/5): The value for money just isn’t here… - The location is great and convenient for our stay Well firstly… the parking is meant to be pre-purchased which isn’t anywhere on bookings.com. Which turns out to be $60 a night for the world worst car park! It’s a two way traffic area and so incredibly narrow. The two bedroom suite that we had was okay… the bathroom was absolutely tiny and yet the living/dining area had an unnecessary amount of space. The cooling doesn’t work very well either so we turned ours right down to 17 and it was still hot.

• Cyril (7/5): Emplacement idéal pour découvrir Sydney - Salle de sport, piscine, sauna, jacuzzi sur le toit est vraiment un gros plus. Et cette vue ! Chambre spacieuse Emplacement idéal pour visiter aussi bien à pieds que pour prendre le bus ou le train. Manque clairement de vaisselle (pour ma part, je suis resté deux semaines dans l’appartement : il y avait seulement 2 assiettes, 2 couverts et 2 verres à disposition bref tout en x2, pas de passoire, mais une théière… (ce qui est assez incohérent). En résumé, c’est insuffisant, d’autant plus qu’un lave-vaisselle est proposé. Absence de machine à laver, ce qui est dommage pour un séjour de cette durée. La literie est confortable, mais le lit “queen/king size” est en réalité composé de deux lits rapprochés, et la séparation se ressent lors du coucher. L’insonorisation est très insuffisante, surtout pour les chambres/appartements côté route, face à Hyde Park. La douche n’est pas très agréable à utiliser : le jet est trop puissant et éclabousse partout. L’attente pour les ascenseurs est assez longue.

• ANDI*romianto (6/5): - We recently stayed at the Oak Hyde Park Suite and had a wonderful experience overall. The location is fantastic, right next to the beautiful Hyde Park, making it convenient to explore the area. The suite itself was spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the rooftop area, complete with a jacuzzi and swimming poo, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning views. However, we were disappointed to find that there was no safe in the room. Given the upscale nature of the suite, I believe investing in this amenity would significantly enhance the guest experience. A safe is a basic necessity for many travelers, and its absence was a drawback during my stay. Overall, it’s a lovely place, but adding a safe would make it even better! Das Personal.

• Michelle (7/5): Great views - Location and views are excellent!! Pool and rooftop facilities good. Staff were pleasant. Were charged for a broken old porta cot and Parking was advertised different (i guess old price) which was steep, these additional cost really brought down the value. Additionally washcloth had stain on it and smoke alarms, which are placed above bed where constantly blinking.
