- J0yaG (10/5): Perfect for roaming Rome! - Everything about this hotel is perfect - let me start with its location …. 3 mins’ walk from the trevi fountain yet on a quiet side street flanked by delicatessens, very good eating places, hosts of gelataria and shops that would suit all budgets and tastes. Secondly, the decor of the communal areas - Roman artefacts (reproduction I’m guessing) and a lovely atrium in the breakfast room ….. which brings me on to their delicious and plentiful breakfast spread….. I strongly recommend the sausages but if meat’s not your thing, they have a wide range of Italian cheeses which you can couple with their very vast selection of breads. Staff in the breakfast room really looked after us and special shout out to Flavia for her custom-made espresso ☕️. Hotel is clean throughout and rooms have an element of sound-proofing

- karengZ2074TO (8/5): Great hotel, great location! - A fabulous hotel, in the best location - just 3 minute walk to the Trevi fountain. Check in was easy and we were able to go to our rooms before 3pm. On arrival we received a bottle of wine for my 60th birthday. Breakfast was ordinary but overall, a fantastic stay. There were a few bars just outside in the road, good for a drink at the end of a long day. I would recommend this hotel without a shadow of doubt.
- narberthgirl (10/5): Excellent Hotel - This is a lovely hotel in the heart of Rome. A tranquil oasis in the busy city. From arrival the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Unfortunately I didn’t get all their names but Bruno and Francis welcomed us perfectly. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy. We found the bed very comfortable. Air conditioning was great (it was 26 degrees everyday we were there) The automated do not disturb sign is such a useful innovation. Breakfasts were good. Everything was fresh. There was even freshly squeezed orange juice. The bar was comfortable and well stocked. The staff knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, from directions and recommendations to booking taxis.

Μας εξυπηρέτησαν σε ότι τους ζητήσαμε και μας βοήθησαν πολύ δίνοντάς μας πολύτιμες οδηγίες για να βρούμε ότι θέλαμε στην πόλη. Όλο το προσωπικό ήταν υπέροχο. Έτυχε να συναναστραφούμε περισσότερο με τον Angelo και την Floriana στη reception και φυσικά τον υπεύθυνο του bar τον Alessandro που φτιάχνει τον καλύτερο καφέ που έχουμε πιεί. Παιδιά σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ!!!

Stayed in the superior double on 4th floor. Bed was really comfortable, lovely walk in shower.... Breakfast was lovely continental and a small selection of hot food. Enjoyed squeezing my own orange every morning for the first time! Staff were all lovely and rooms refreshed every day. Would thoughrougly recommend staying here...can walk to the Trevi fountain, Pantheon and Spanish steps easily....

Fabulous crisp linen, pillows and super comfy mattress. Bathroom was nice surprise having a full bath. Breakfast great with lots of choice, but without a doubt the best thing about this hotel is the excellent friendly, knowledgeable and kind staff. Would not hesitate to return to this gem. - S1985SQmatthewc (2/5): Overbooked so was moved to an inferior hotel - Hotel looked nice, main problem was they had overbooked and moved me to their sister hotel which is not as nice and in a very poor location. No manager available to change anything or complain to. Basically said tough and take it or leave it, oh and you might not get a refund if you dont take it. Awful customer service and wouldn't be surprised if they overbook on purpose just to fill the inferior quality sister hotel. I have posted this review elsewhere with the hotel responding that it is what happened. The facts are the manager wasn't there and when I asked to speak to them was told they wouldn't be there for 3 hours. They repeatedly said they had obeyed the law, I was moved into a worse hotel in a poor location with the original hotel washing there hands of it. I dont see how someone completely unavailable can pass comment on what actually happened. I did say to the receptionist she had been let down by her manager who couldn't even be bothered to show up when I had been told it had happened to quite a few people that day. Just very poor management
- EastSxTravellers (10/5): Hotel Borgognoni, Rome - early Spring Break - Fantastic little Hotel. As others have said, perfectly situated for the main Rome attractions. The welcome received from reception and the Porter on duty that day (02/03/26) was first class. We were lucky enough to have good weather during our stay, so were able to walk everywhere. However, if we'd have had to shelter from the rain, I have every confidence the Hotel staff would have been more than happy to assist with travel suggestions. Again, as others have said, the breakfast was very good, and the two 'front of house' staff on duty during our stay were even better. Very accommodating, very friendly and always seemed to have time to talk, even though they were busy most of the time. Will definitely stay here again if travelling to Rome.

- mloftis (10/5): Wonderful stay in Rome. - Compared to other rooms in Europe this one was a good size. We had plenty of space and did not feel crowded. Our room was very clean as were all other areas of the hotel. the breakfast was good and had a good selection. They had a well stocked bar and our bartender, Massimo(hopefully spelled correctly) was great. The location was excellent for visiting the major areas as it was within a 10 minute walk to both the Trevi Fountian and Spanish Steps. There were many excellent restaurants nearby which afforded us plenty of choices. Concierge services were very knowledgeable and friendly.

- Teragram10 (10/5): Excellent hotel in great location - 4 of us stayed at the Hotel dei Borgognoni on our first visit to Rome. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet street just 4 mins walk from the Trevi Fountain and 6 minutes walk from the Spanish steps. Great location and plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. The hotel is excellent, lovely warm welcome when we arrived from Floriana. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, have UK adapters already fitted which is very convenient, mini bar, safe. everything you need for a trip to Rome. Breakfast choice was good, cereasl, pastries, hot food, fresh juices. Very helpful staff always on hand to assist where needed. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Special mention to Floriana, Massimo and Paolo who greeted us every time with a cheery smile and lighthearted chat at the same time making sure we were happy with everything. Thank you all.

La nostra camera, poi, era del tutto inadeguata: piccola, buia, e - soprattutto- isolata dal mondo: niente segnale di rete cellulare e Wi-Fi da terzo mondo; nonostante i suggerimenti della reception il wi fi arriva solo nell’ingresso; in camera praticamente nulla. Peccato, rimarrà solo un ricordo. Mai più e comunque evitare la stanza 107

We chose this hotel as we had been previously (in November 2017) and were extremely satisfied then. The location is ideal, the staff are very welcoming and hospitable. Nice breakfast and a big thank you to Flaviva and her colleague ( sorry didn’t get your name) for the special coffee you made me at breakfast. This is our second stay and would definitely stay here again. Location is ideal for the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps.

- Connector265933 (10/5): Fabulous hotel - This was a fantastic short stay and we could not have picked a better hotel. Situated just a few minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain, we were able to nip out before breakfast to take some photos before the crowds arrived. The hotel is down a quiet side street surrounded by lots of restaurants so there is plenty of choice for your evening meal. The public transport was easy to use, as we used the Metro for the Vatican and also the buses were fab. Special mention to Floriana who suggested we buy the Metro/Bus tickets from the local Tabbachi store or from the stand that sells the Big Bus tickets. Both very cheap, just 6 Euros return for the both of us for one journey. The breakfast was varied and fab - just what we needed. We loved our room. The shower was good, bed was comfortable and we slept really well. We recommend this hotel as it is so well situated and we were so well looked after.

- TeeEss704 (10/5): Great location - This little gem is tucked away off the busiest streets with great hotel amenities and restaurants nearby. The staff is very helpful, attentive and friendly. The location is central to the Colesseum and Piazza di Poppoli and only 5 minutes walk from Trevi. We enjoyed our stay a great deal, will visit again and hihhly recommend it.
- euge6525 (10/5): Fantastic location great hotel - We stayed here for four nights 10th to 14th of November. Beautiful old mansion hotel which impressed on first walking through the door all the way through to our departure. From Luca who greeted us at reception on arrival making us feel very welcome to the bar and breakfast staff to the housekeeping team everyone was universally friendly professional and helpful. Room was so comfortable well appointed with a genuinely excellent comfortable bed fridge etc. I must mention the shower which was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. Excellent fresh food with a great variety of everything. Personally I loved squeezing our own orange juice every morning. Including breakfast is recommended as it is an ideal and easy way to start the day. The hotel is so well located between the Trevi (4minutes )Spanish Steps (6minutes) and an easy 20minute walk from the Vatican and in the other direction the same to the Colosseum . We walked everywhere and the shopping , restaurant choice and landmarks were fantastic. Of course I know it is Rome but we loved it all. We were sad to leave this beautiful hotel and plan to return again DV. If going to Rome then this hotel should be top of your list , we loved it and can highly recommend to anyone planning a visit .

- Ronit (9/5): נהנינו מאוד! נשמח לחזור. - מלון במיקום מושלם בין פונטנה די טרווי למדרגות הספרדיות. קרוב מאוד גם לרחוב הראשי ויה דל קורסו. מלון יפה מאוד ומטופח מאוד. מקושט מקסים לכריסמס. יש גם סופרמרקט צמוד למלון, ושתי מסעדות ממש מול המלון. שתי מעליות מהירות. צוות מאוד אדיב ועוזר, בעיקר אלסנדרו ופאולו מחדר ארוחת הבוקר. ארוחת בוקר טובה מאוד ומגוונת, אפילו יש ירקות. החדר נקי ומרווח מאוד עם חלון שפונה לרחוב קטן שבדרך כלל שקט. מיטה נוחה מאוד. המקלחון קטן למרות שחדר האמבטיה מרווח. אם החלונות פתוחים אז מידי פעם בלילה שומעים את משאיות האשפה ברחוב, אבל החלונות די אוטמים את הרעש. הידית של הברז במקלחון הייתה קצת קשה להזזה ימינה ושמאלה כך שלא תמיד הצלחתי לקבל מים בטמפרטורה הרצויה למקלחת. הלוואי שיסודר כי אני אשמח לחזור למלון הזה.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I received a complimentary bottle of wine for my birthday which was a surprise. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and we would be happy again.

Most importantly, the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. My wife received a complimentary bottle of wine on her birthday which was a delightful surprise. We would have hesitation to recommend this hotel to others and we would be happy to stay at this hotel again when visiting Rome.

- harush (10/5): המיקום הטוב והמרכזי ביותר ברומא. נחזור שוב - מלון במיקום הטוב ביותר ברומא, 300 מטר מהמדרגות הספרדיות ובלב כל המקומות התיירותיים, אין צורך להתנייד בתחבורה הכל ברגל, שפע של מסעדות וחנויות. יש חניון לרכב במלון עלות 30 יורו ליום, לשים לב שהמלון ממוקם באזור נסיעה מוגבל ולכן אפשר לצאת עם הרכב מהמלון פעם אחת ביום מבלי לקבל קנס, כלומר מרגע שיוצאים מהמלון ונוסעים לאזור מרוחק יותר זה אפשרי אבל צריך לחזור רק אחרי השעה 20:00 בערב כדי לא לקבל קנס. שירות מצוין, חדר מצויין אך מעט קטן, בידוד מעולה מהקור, ארוחת בוקר מעולה לא חסר כלום וצוות נהדר. אין ספק שזה המלון המרכזי והטוב ביותר שהיינו בו ברומא מבין כל הפעמים שהיינו ברומא. נחזור שוב ללא ספק. תמורה מצוינת ביחס למחיר. תודה רבה. שימו לב מס תיירות ברומא עולה 7.5 יורו לאדם ללילה, זה לא קשור למלון אך לקחת זאת בחשבון במיוחד למשפחות עם ילדים.

In particular Luca on the front desk and Paolo in the bar. It was my wife’s birthday and on returning to our room found a lovely surprise to mark the special occasion. Luca and the team were fantastic from the moment we arrived until we left, they could be more helpful with all our queries, and surprising the birthday girl ❤️. Paolo doing his stuff behind the bar was a great way to relax after a hectic day of sightseeing. Look forward to seeing them all again.

- lesanjo (10/5): A really lovely hotel - This is a great hotel, and not just for its perfect location. Which as others have said is only moments away from Trevi, Spanish steps and the Pantheon. The staff are excellent and everyone so friendly and wanting to help with everything. The decor and finishings throughout are 5 star and our room wss wonderful with a view over the garden atrium in the centre of the hotel. Breakfast was a highlight and had a full range of everything we could have wanted, and kept fresh regardless of whether you were there at 7am or 11am. So thank you to everyone for a lovely stay with you and if or when we return to Rome next time we certainly wont stay anywhere else.

- keithbT156SC (8/5): Roma - This hotel is slap bang in the middle of everything, 5 minutes maximum to the Spanish steps and about 3 minutes in the opposite direction to the Trevi Fountain. Bars, restaurants and cafes all near by. We had a room directly above the main entrance facing onto a busy lane/road which could be quite noisy but once the windows were shut we were never really bothered by any noise. Breakfast was adequate with pastries, cereal , bacon and scrambled and a few other options, only complaint would be the coffee machine at breakfast, always prefer a coffee made for me in a hotel in the morning! Rooms could do with a wee freshen up but apart from that an enjoyable stay.

- fran532016 (10/5): Roman Holiday - This is a small hotel with a lounge, bar and restaurant. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Rome along a cobbled lane between via del Corsa and via del Tritone which meant we could walk to all of the sites, shops and restaurants. I highly recommend it especially for a weekend city break and would stay there again.

Front desk, staff were kind to make a reservation for dinner for us and also called the cab when we needed it. They also helped us by collecting our luggage before our check-in time.

- Mudgirl64 (10/5): A wonderful trip. - The hotel is in a perfect position, central, meaning that you cam walk to the sights. It is in a quiet road and is surrounded by restaurants and gelaterias. The hotel breakfast is extensive and sets you up for the whole day. The croissants are some of the best I've eaten. The hotel is also as clean as a whistle. I would not hesitate in booking this hotel again next time I go to Rome.

- GavKez (10/5): Perfect location - We stayed here as a couple for a 3 night break. The location of this hotel was perfect for us. It was approx 5-7 min walk to the Spanish Steps and about the same to the Trevi Fountains. Check in was great and was dealt with by Luca who was very friendly. Our room was on the 1st floor at the front of the building and was basic but ample for the time we spent in it. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day sightseeing. We traveled from the airport by train which was €14 each and was so easy to use. We then walked from the Termini which took us about 30 minutes. We walked back too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Rome in the future.
