• choonwai (8/5): 4 Nights Stay at Brunelleschi Hotel Milan Italy - We had a 4 nights Stay at Brunelleschi Hotel, Milan, located near to the Metro. The room is clean, the bed is also comfortable. The bath room water pressure is also strong, aircon is in good working. Noted the Breakfast spread in the Hotel remains the same throughout the 4 days. We enjoyed the stay very much. Thanks.

• JandApe (8/5): Good value, excellent location. - We were only in Milan for four days and we prefer to be close to the Duomo. On our last visit, we stayed at a pretty good hotel that suited most of our requirements but had two aspects we didn’t care for - round beds and price. So a fairly easy search turned up the Brunelleschi, which was literally half the price of our last hotel in Milan and mercifully - regular shaped beds. Most of the reviews we read online were fairly accurate. I think TA does a better job at grading hotels than restaurants. So the location was perfect, the Duomo being a couple of minutes stroll away (plus taxis are able to drop you off at the front door). The decor of the hotel does harp back to the 20th century. Lots of stark contrasts and seventies style. It’s not a boutique hotel by any means - being much bigger than it looks from the exterior images. The public areas are all in good shape and reasonably comfy. We didn’t use the bar or the restaurant so cannot comment on those. The staff at reception ranged from very friendly, to some stony-faced characters (note: this isn’t a complaint, just an observation). Our room was pretty good, having everything we required for our stay. Everything in the room worked as it should and the fixtures and fittings (while some bits looked a little tired) were made during an era when build quality was king. There was little evidence of shoddy, modern MDF furniture but real, solid wood fittings - very nice. I wouldn’t stay in our room (202) if you’re the kind of guest who likes a room with a view. Our window had a front row seat to some industrial looking machinery in an inner courtyard. Breakfasts were taken in the lower ground floor and consisted of pretty standard hotel offerings. There was plenty of choice but some aspects (notably the machine dispensed “juice”) were pretty basic. The staff at breakfast did a fantastic job of keeping the place ticking over smoothly, credit for that. So in conclusion, the hotel Brunelleschi is a pretty good hotel, at this price point. As I said, we have stayed at other Milan hotels costing twice as much but delivering less. If all you want from a hotel is a great location and a decent night's sleep - you could do much worse.

Per il resto la struttura è vecchiotta e poco ben mantenuta sopprattutto i bagni e le camere. La colazione e SOLO self service con poca scelta e bassa qualità La pulizia delle camere. I bagni devono essere rinnovati, si vede che la struttura è lasciata invecchiare. Il prezzo è abbastanza elevato e l'unico punto forte è la posizione in pieno centro

• cteague1 (8/5): Top location, super friendly staff, fine breakfast and clean hotel - Minutes from the Duomo and its countless restaurants and bars, the Brunelleschi's location is faultless. It's also a lot cheaper than every other large hotel in this prime location and the complimentary minibar is a nice touch. The staff were super friendly and helpful, whether the front desk or housekeeping who fetched us extra pillows. The 90s decor did not faze me in the slightest because the room was spotless and how much time will you be spending in it whilst in Milan? Breakfast was copious with plenty of choice from full English to pastries and kept very orderly and clean. Perfect for our 4 day minibreak. NB city tax is now 10 euros per person per night in Milan, something to bear in mind.

В номере чисто, хорошее постельное белье, удобный матрас, хорошее освещение, много зеркал. Есть чайник, можно бесплатно пользоваться баром и на рецепшене каждое утро можно брать бутылку с водой и бесплатно выпить чашечку кофе. Приветливый персонал. Завтраки хорошие, есть выбор. Всё понравилось

• Manfred (9/5): Top Lage Nähe Dom und Shopping - eine sehr gute Wahl für zwei Nächte. - Die Mitarbeitenden waren im Restaurant und auf der Etage waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einer der Rezeptionisten redete und lachte laut mit einem anderen Mitarbeitenden, während er uns Gäste nebenbei und nicht auf uns fokussiert bediente. Das geschah wohl ohne Absicht und eher unbewusst, hinterliess aber einen etwas unangenehmen letzten Eindruck vom Hotel.

• E6315UAmegang (10/5): Don’t look at photos of the 1970s decor - this hotel is perfect in all the ways that don’t show in a photo! - This hotel suffers from reports and photos showing its dated decor and definitely tired-looking exterior but I can assure you it is very comfortable! We usually stay in more trendy-looking places but picked this one for its absolutely superb location despite some poor reviews. We’ve just stayed here two nights and can find no faults. The staff are all faultlessly kind and helpful. I rang down to ask for an extra pillow and it appeared within 5 minutes. Everyone speaks English and bends over backwards to be helpful. The bedding is crisp where it needs to be crisp (the linen) and soft everywhere else. The breakfast offering is hard to fault - I can’t think of anything more they could offer. The bathroom is perfectly comfortable and functional. If I were to return to Milan (and it’s been my favourite Italian city) I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.
