Friendly, supportive & efficient staff. I also liked the fact that I was able to open the windows & let fresh air into the room instead of using the air-conditioning. Loud street noise but that's not the hotel's fault. It's the takeaway & pub across the street. It was quieter on Sunday

The building was fundamentally too hot - it was like a summer's night in early spring. The A/C didn't do much to alleviate the belting heat in my room day and night.

• mehmet (1/5): Dirty rooms - The location My stay at this Radisson Blu was disappointing due to the poor level of cleanliness. When I arrived, the room was not properly cleaned — there was hair on the bed and in the bathroom. What made it worse is that the same issues were still there even after housekeeping cleaned the room the next day. Several colleagues staying in other rooms experienced similar problems, so this doesn’t seem to be an isolated case. For a Radisson Blu hotel, you expect a much higher standard of cleanliness and overall room preparation. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet those expectations.

Dopo la mia recensione, la Manager mi ha immediatamente scritto quando ha letto i commenti negativi sotto, per verificare cosa potesse fare per migliorare i loro servizi, e mi ha precisato di avere discusso con lo staff di alcune critiche che ho espresso. Ha quindi manifestato un serio e notevole interesse nel cercare di garantire il miglior servizio possibile, e questo gioca sicuramente anche favore della struttura. Stanza minuscola, non c'era spazio per la valigia. L'armadio al muro permetteva di appendere solo 4 vestiti e non c'era alcun cassettone per le maglie e gli indumenti. Caldo eccessivo nella stanza : senza l’aria condizionata, tra 25 e 26 di notte: L’aria condizionata una volta accesa permetteva di rinfrescare la stanza ma la bocchetta d’aria era posizionata proprio sulla testa del letto. Pulizia discutibile.

• Walden (10/5): I would stay here again! - Very well presented and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Good location to tube stations as well as local cafes, bars and fast food restaurants. Room was spacious enough and very clean. Fire alarm went off three times during our stay (not enough to cause an evacuation and was during the day). Aircon was very loud and room was too hot without it on, also began to smell damp if left on for too long.

• Tracy (10/5): A lovely very friendly hotel. Practically perfect…… - Beautiful and fully equipped room. Lots of little extras that were really appreciated. The hotel felt luxurious. Breakfast was lovely - all tastes and preferences seemed to be covered. It was also literally less than a minutes walk from the tube station, and if arriving by train to King Cross, the hotel is only a twenty minute walk. Very local to several shops. The staff were amazing, from reception to the restaurant staff, to the cleaning employees. All were very friendly, beautiful people. I would most definitely come back here again. Travelled from the North of England, so not somewhere I come often, but would choose to stay at this hotel again when I do. The only, very minor thing, would be to provide more milk in the room for coffee/tea. The five sachets were enough only for two coffees, yet six coffee pods were provided. It wasn’t really a big problem for us as we purchased some milk from the local shop and popped it in the fridge in the room, but I think if milk is supplied, maybe a few more sachets.

Would stay - Location and easy access to underground station Room was superb albeit at low level height meaning closer to road/street noise than expected. One TV in room not able to show tv channels (no signal) but trip wasn’t for watching tv in bed. Reported to hotel on departure. Upgrade works in an adjoining or very close room started at 8am on checkout day - no mention of such works happening and no choice available to change plans.

Pas de prise près des tables de nuit, ni même de prise USB, à moderniser. Les prises sont uniquement sous la télévision pas pratiques.

I loved the variety of tea in the room, the fig soap, water, biscuits in the room - all nice wee touches. Breakfast was delicious with a buffet and a la carte menu. It was a beautiful old building with lots of character. The location was great. Not far from the main stations and underground. I would recommend this hotel. All good.
