Man kann Tee oder Kaffee kochen, es gibt Teller und Besteck. Restaurant unten etwas laut, noch lauter die Touristengruppen, die die Treppe besichtigen, - ein Muss für Game of Thrones Fans... Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, man kann kaum vorbeigehen, ein Nachtschrank ist gleichzeitig der Kühlschrank.

Appreciated the clothes rack so I could wash a few items. Didn't use the heat/AC, just left the window open. It wasn't noisy outside. So nice to have a small fridge. The host offered to help and answer questions. Nada. It's all good.

• Emilie (7/5): Confortable et central - Logement au centre de Dubrovnik, idéal pour visiter la ville, petit mais confortable ! Hôte réactive et accommodante. Isolement phonique un peu léger et comme le logement est situé en centre ville au dessus d'un restaurant c'est un peu bruyant mais ça ne nous a pas empêché de dormir.
• MONDELLE (8/5): Major highlight of our nine week Europe adventure. - It was a beautiful central location right in the heart. It didn’t require climbing lots of stairs with our luggage. It had everything you would need and more. The host was very accommodating and friendly. The beautiful restaurant downstairs We found the hot water system to occasionally be temperamental. And had very limited kitchen utensils to utilise the kitchenette.

O apartamento é pequeno, a entrada do prédio é velha (mas você está na old town, não é mesmo?), o quarto não é muito grande, mas tem boa cama, boa ducha, uma cozinha para auxiliar na logística do café da manhã. O apartamento está bem aos pés da escadaria onde foram gravadas as cenas da famosa "caminhada da vergonha", da série Game of Thrones.
• Martin (7/5): Gut für Kurzaufenthalt - künstliche Beduftung ist nicht so unser Ding - Zimmer karg ausgestattet - Streamingdienste included :-) tolle Lage, nette Kommunikation. Wer künstliche Frische-Beduftung nicht mag (wie wir), könnte hier ein Problem haben; die Betten sind eher was für schmale Personen. Das Zimmer ist so klein wie beschrieben, Wasserkocher und Instant Kaffe sowie Tee - das wars dann auch neben ein paar Tellern und Besteck.
• Finbarr (8/5): - Location was brilliant. At the foot of the jesuit steps. Busy during the day but the room was totally soundproof. The room was comfortable and clean. It looked a bit larger in the photograph but as I was travelling alone this was fine.

• Mariadele (10/5): Un piacevole soggiorno a Dubrovnik - L’appartamento si trova nel centro di Dubrovnik, sotto la famosa scalinata di Game of Thrones. Sono presenti tanti ristoranti, ma la camera è perfettamente insonorizzata e con le finestre chiuse non sentivamo alcun rumore dall’esterno. La camera dispone di tutto il necessario per dormire e cucinare serenamente e Stephanie è stata molto gentile e premurosa con noi. Non ci sono lati negativi, forse migliorerei un po’ le serrature delle stanze e del portone principale per una maggiore sicurezza.

• AMANDA KINSLEY-SMITH (10/5): Absolute Gem - Everything! Stephanie sent very clear information on how to get there and had lots of recommendations. We cannot stress enough how fantastic the location is. It felt very special pushing back that big old door and getting into our own hideaway in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. We were very impressed with how much Stephanie had managed to include in a compact space. The bathroom was bright with lots of lights and the whole place was spotless. The air con was much appreciated! I wish we had been staying longer but it was just a quick stop on further travels. I would definitely recommend to friends visiting Dubrovnik. Genuinely nothing. We were a little worried it would be noisy at night being in such a central location but once the restaurants around closed it was very quiet.

Just above great restaurants, but we can’t hear any noise due to the soundproof windows! AC much needed, working perfectly!!! Definitely recommend and will be back !!! Small room but we could fit in there!

• Jeremy (9/5): A wonderful piece of history, a great place to stay. - True to its name, this unit is really in the heart of Dubrovnik - a lovely old walled town with immaculately maintained buildings, narrow streets and no cars, some lovely churches, (and many restaurants). Staying there is like moving back in time. Only one small complaint. The streets in old Dubrovnik are not all named, and none of the buildings have street numbers. Consequently finding this property when you first arrive is quite a challenge. The good news is that this property is very close to a grand staircase that reminded us very much of the famous Spanish steps in Rome. Once you find these “Spanish steps” you’ve found the Heart of Dubrovnik.

No extra sitting room. The transition between bedroom and bathroom floors was painful. I could've used an extra blanket. My roommate liked it cool., but it was too cold for me.

Good communication prior to arrival just to confirm booking etc Couple of mates just on a short stay this was ideal, we didn't want over the top luxury, this had everything you might need eg a fridge, ironing board, air con and WiFi
• Mathew (9/5): Superb - Location is perfect, walking distance to all the attractions we wanted to see/do. The host was very welcoming and provided comprehensive information about Dubrovnik upon arrival (including where to eat and where not to!)
• Sofia (5/5): Passable - The location was the star of the show, the bed was confortable and the ac worked well, there was a wardrobe for storage and the windows are soundproof which was really cool. The room was smaller than shown on the pictures with the bed taking up most of the space, and unfortunately I did not read the fine print on the kitchen facilities wich only included a fridge, tosty maker, kettle and cutlery. But we were able to manage.

• Samantha (8/5): Wonderful stay in a central location - Fantastic location- so central and easy to come back to when exploring the Old Town. Wonderful host, very helpful with restaurant suggestions. Very clean & the windows were very well soundproofed.

• Richard (10/5): Perfect location! - The location was excellent! Near all the attractions and sites in the Old City. Just at the base of the Jesuit stairs, right off a public square full of restaurants. The flat does have a cooktop and refrigerator if you choose to cook for yourself. The air conditioning made the room very comfortable. The host was very responsive and exchanged clear communications. If you have much luggage, recommend using either the Ploce or Tile gates which allow you to use your suitcase rollers. The Buza gate has a lot of steps.

• Michelle (3/5): Would NOT recommend this accommodation!! - The location was perfect. Although it’s in the heart of the old town, with the windows closed you couldn’t hear any noise from outside. It was straightforward collecting the key from the key box. The room is dated, the paint was flaking off the walls. The floor felt like it needed a good sweep and clean. The bin had been emptied but there was rubbish left behind the bin on the floor. The room smelt of cigarette smoke. The shower curtain was clean but the shower had black mould/scum. Luckily I was only staying one night!!

• Jenette (4/5): Disappointing room in central location. - This room was in the centre of the old town, at the bottom of the famous Game of Thrones stairs. The entrance was uninviting and smelt of cats. The corridor smelt of cigarettes, even though it is supposed to be a non-smoking accommodation. The walls needed a good refresh of paint,knocks, and scuff marks on three walls. The bed cover was stained and very dull and not like the advertised photos on Booking.com. the wall socket in the bathroom was loose, which worried me. The door lock was faulty. There was dust all over the wall hangings, which were hanging on the door. I emailed the host. However, I only received a reply once I had checked out. No one welcomed me, which they said they would. I feel this room was highly overpriced. Just because its location is central. I wouldn't recommend it. It felt like a small step up from a hostel. Which is fine if you pay hostel prices. I paid 143.000 Euro for one night room only. In Split I paid 130.00 Euro and the room was delightful. Modern, comfortable, and the host welcomed me.

• Patryk (4/5): Overpriced - For that price which was actually most expensive stay for me in Croatia so far I would expect more. Apartment needs renovation, doors in shower cabin are falling off, doors to the apartment don’t want to close smoothly, everything seems very old. There is no kitchen in the accommodation, there is no even bottle of water waiting what was quite a standard in much cheaper apartments.

• Verónica (6/5): Ok for one night - Location. Is a few meters away from Cersei’s walk of Shame (if a GOT fan). Space was very small (door hit the bed when opening it - so you have an idea) no room to open the suitcases at all, and floors were pretty dusty (unclean). Need to be mindful have to carry your suitcases up the stairs (but this seemed common across our stay in Croatia, so not a con but be mindful).

The room was very comfortable and clean. There are restaurants right outside, and obviously, being in the centre of the old town was great. The stay was perfect.
