Guest Reviews
- Michael (6/5): - I was very happy they gave us early access to the property but communicating with management in advance was very poor, they gave us one key for our group which was silly and very inconvenient, the washing machine was broken…. And I never would have rented a place without laundry and feel I should get some form of refund since this can be very important while traveling for long trips. In general I would pay 1/3rd less for this place due to the above issues alone.
- Eric (10/5): Comfortable apartment with great terrace - The location was excellent. Very close to the Trevi Fountain (hence the name) and Spanish steps. So many places to eat and a grocery store across the street to stock up on bottled water and snacks.
The apartment itself was clean and very comfortable. We had 3 adults so needed 2 bedrooms and 2 baths so this place worked perfectly. Loved the 2 terraces. There were only 2 wine glasses..... lol. I really had to think for something to write here.
- Julie (9/5): lovely apartment in great location. Great service and value for money. - the property is very well located and we received excellent service from agent. The apartment was very well equiped apart from kitchen utensils There was a shortage of kitchen utensils, for example there is no cutting knife whatsoever the apartment. The bathroom was dirty in areas that could not be seen for example behind
- Teixeira (10/5): The location is perfect. The bedrooms are in the back of the house so it was very quiet. - A representative met us at the door Nothing, it was a very smooth process.
- Alison (2/5): - As a business owner myself, I rarely leave bad reviews, especially if a business tries to make something right. This was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had in my 20 years of international travel. The hosts were outright rude and unresponsive, the place was dirty, the showers rotate hot then freezing cold water, the heat would not go above 69 degrees, there were no paper towels, the furniture was shabby, the beds were hard and uncomfortable, the smaller bathroom shower didn't have a curtain liner so water ran onto the floor, it's noisy in the front rooms from the crowds below. But our checkout experience and communication with the host was the the worst part. On the first day we asked if there was a coffee maker (as advertised), we were told by Franceso, the person who met us at the property that he would check with the management company to see if he could get us something else. He showed us the moka pot but never got back to us. Not really a big deal, but the next day we asked if we could turn the heat up. They said that it was set at 21 and they couldn't go higher. I replied letting them know that I would make sure to include that in my Expedia review so that others wouldn't be surprised. Their response? "We don't care what you put in your review, you don't have to keep telling us". Their website Rome Sweet Rome also says "we are here for our customers 24/7/365". It is nearly impossible to get in touch with them. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.
