From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, comfortable, and truly authentic. What I loved most was the location – perfect for exploring the city, yet peaceful enough to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Everything was within easy reach, which made our trip so much more enjoyable. The accommodation itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had a lovely charm that made it feel like a home away from home. The attention to detail really stood out. A special mention to the host, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience – comfortable, convenient, and full of that special Roman charm. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit. While our stay at La Casa Romana was overall pleasant, there are a few areas that could be improved. The room itself was nice, clean, and comfortable. However, the bathroom would benefit from a bit more attention in terms of maintenance. There was some mould on the ceiling and around the window area, which slightly affected the overall impression. A little refurbishment and upkeep in these areas would really elevate the experience. That said, we still enjoyed our time in Rome and appreciated the stay.

• Jasminka (10/5): - Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect – very close to St. Peter’s Basilica and all the main attractions. The host was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything to us on a map, which made our stay even easier and more enjoyable. The place is cleaned every day, which was truly impressive. Breakfast was just right, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Everything was great. If you want to truly experience Rome, this is the perfect place to stay. We would definitely come back again! .

• Nancy (10/5): We have already recommended this location to our friends and family. - The host: Our host was wonderful with lots of tips and answers to our questions. He was so friendly and if there were any issues, he was available 24/7. He offered us umbrellas, maps, tourist information to use as needed The location: It was a short walk to everything! Transit very close. You could see the dome from the balcony!! (See picture attached) It was very peaceful and quiet at night so you could get a great sleep. It was a couple blocks away from a good grocery store as well. Steps away from a local theater, restaurants, shops, and the Vatican. The facility: Very secure building. The rooms were cleaned every day. A dry breakfast, milk, juice, tea, and coffee were available whenever you wanted. The fridge, stove, and dishes made our stay very easy. I enjoyed that each room had big windows, and that there were balconies on both sides of the apartment. There was lots of light and airflow. I liked the elevator for when we brought in our luggage. It had great, reliable, fast internet!! The room: The bed was very comfortable and it was very roomy. I appreciated that it had air conditioning and heating as needed. It had lots of plug-ins for charging your phones. I liked that it had blackout shutters if you wanted a longer sleep in! It would have been nice if there was a different door between the two suites that share the kitchen but definitely not a deal breaker.

• Marion (4/5): - Das es zentral zur Stadt war Sanitäre Anlagen, es gab eine Maschine fürs Wasser und man durfte kein Toilettenpapier in die Toilette werfen. Ein bisschen wie im Dschungel. Kein durch gehendes warmes Wasser, Zimmer musste geteilt werden mit einer Faltür zu zu machen.

• Sandra (9/5): Eenvoudig, comfortabel, net appartement met een geweldige host in Vaticaanstad op een super plek. - Het appartement is van een geweldige, vriendelijke, nette en behulpzame host. Hij gaf tips, uitleg, advies, hield elke dag de vertrekken netjes en op orde. Het is een eenvoudig net comfortabel appartement, wat gedeeld wordt door 2 slaapkamers voor verschillende gasten, je deelt de keuken. De locatie ligt op 10 min. lopen van Sint-Pieters basiliek en een half uurtje lopen naar het stadscentrum Rome. Vaticaanstad is geweldig, net als heel Rome met alle bezienswaardigheden. Wij hebben alles lopend gedaan. In 4 1/2 dag hebben wij gezien, gedaan, bezocht en ervaren wat wij wilden, maar je komt dan nog tijd te kort. Vooral Engelenburcht bezoeken, wat een fenomenaal uitzicht over Rome, net als de wandeling door Trastevere, met uitzicht over Rome. Alles was gewoon geweldig. Viel niet tegen, maar je deelt de keuken met andere gasten. Het appartement is opgedeeld in verschillende ruimtes met 2 slaapkamers. De douche is misschien wat minder prettig.

Es un piso alto y si bien hay ascensor, es pesado para subir con maletas y más si vas con alguien con alguna limitación. Es un apartamento con habitaciones, no es un espacio privado, se comparte con otras 2 habitaciones de otras personas. Es posible el check in tarde pero con costo adicional. Entonces mejor verificar esa parte antes. No hay realmente un desayuno incluido. Hay café y te disponible para que tú te lo prepares y pan, pero realmente no ofrecen un desayuno como tal. Tú debes prepararlo.

Nous ne savions pas que nous devions partager le même étage avec d'autres clients. En clair, j'ai croisé un couple qui prenait leur petit déjeuner pendant que je me rendais dans ma salle de bains. Literie inconfortable. Petit déjeuner industriel. Ascenseur minuscule. Aucune inscription "Casa Romana" à l'adresse indiquée au point qu'on a cru qu'on s'était trompé d'endroit...

• MONICA (9/5): Buena opción - El apartamento está muy bien ubicado, la habitación era amplia y el baño cómodo, aunque no funcionaba el aire acondicionado y la temperatura estuvo por encima de 32 grados. La cocina está bien equipada, tiene comedor amplio. La entrega de las llaves no fue tan fácil.

La stanza era pulita e accogliente, e il gestore è stato molto gentile e disponibile (un vero punto di forza!). Perfetto per chi vuole vivere Roma in tranquillità, con tutto a portata di mano. Ci torneremmo volentieri!

Værten var skøn og vi fik en god snak med ham, da vi ankom til lejligheden (alt for sent i forhold til det aftalte tidspunkt, men han ventede tålmodigt på os!).

• Erika (2/5): - La posizione è ottima. Purtroppo a mio avviso il bagno a noi riservato è veramente pessimo muffa sul soffitto, il lavandino rovinato. Non mi è piaciuta assolutamente come struttura. Per affittare secondo me ci dovrebbero essere le condizioni adatte.

Der Besitzer, Elvio, gibt hilfreiche Tips, ist immer zu erreichen und ist sehr nett Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach gehalten. Das sollte mann einfach wissen.

Elvio is the kindest and the most helpful host I have ever met. The bathroom needs a little renovation, especially the shower.
