Pavel (4/5): Déçu par le rapport qualité/prix. - Chambre miniscule, le lit contre le mur, inaccessible pour la deuxième personne, aucune table de nuit avec lumière, les rideaux trop longs dépassaient sur la table et gênaient, aucun emplacement pour mettre les vêtements, il fallait les laisser dans la valise, peu d'espace pour bouger. Pas de porte-serviette dans la salle de bain, la poignée pour ouvrir l'eau dans la douche très dure à tourner et impossible d'arrêter l'eau avec la main mouillée, la vitre de la douche trop courte, l'eau giclait tout autour, les WC défectueux, un seul bouton marchait. Le prix fut trop élevé pour une telle chambre.

Kivoja ravintoloita ja kahviloita alueella. Huone olisi voinut olla vähän siistimpi. Ei ollut kunnollisia shamppoota jne huoneessa. Suurin osa henkilökunnasta oli oikein mukavia ja avuliaita, mutta eräs heistä suhtautui meihin syyttä hieman töykeästi:(
Mark (9/5): The Alfred Hotel has friendly staff and a great, quiet location. Worth it! - Room was well located and pretty comfortable. It was well worth the money and I'd stay again. The only downsides were the lack of a refrigerator, and our room happened to be near the elevator so we heard quite a few people.

Livoi (8/5): Parfait - La localisation est parfaite, il y a un arrêt de tram pas très loin de l’hôtel qui nous conduit directement à Amsterdam central . Le lit était très confortable, la chambre propre et équipement standard , personnel très agréable.
Linda (1/5): Unsupportive handling of a criminal matter - The area is really nice to walk around. My recent stay at this establishment raised critical safety and security concerns. While staying in my room, an unauthorised entry occurred while I was asleep. My personal belongings were deliberately tampered with and damaged. Furthermore, I awoke with physical symptoms strongly indicating that I had been drugged and compromised while unconscious. When I reported this severe security breach and suspected assault to the management, the staff member on duty was entirely dismissive. Rather than initiating an immediate security protocol, checking lock logs, or offering support, her sole focus was to deflect liability and remove me from the desk. The hotel's total failure to secure their guest rooms, combined with management's negligent and unsupportive handling of a criminal matter, makes this property entirely unsafe.

Simon (5/5): Convenient location for the galleries. - Breakfast adequate. Staff in Breakfast Room worked hard. The room was rather stuffy. 1) I requested an extra blanket for my room on Saturday 17/05. This was never delivered. 2) The many requests by email/WhatsApp to check in/out online before arrival are very irritating. This is clearly for the convenience of the Alfred Hotel only, it has no benefit for guests. The front desk is always staffed, so why not check in on arrival, as normal ?

Alexandra (6/5): Great location, but comfort could be improved - We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel offered bike rentals, which made it very easy and convenient to get around and explore the area. It was also located very close to a tram stop, with direct access into the city centre. The room itself was clean as well. The main downside for us was a strong unpleasant smell outside our room, which made coming and going uncomfortable at times. We also found that the shower water would easily spill onto the bathroom floor. In addition, the bed was pushed up against the wall, which made it inconvenient for two people sharing, especially for the person sleeping on the inside. Unfortunately, we also didn’t find the bed or pillows particularly comfortable.

McDowell (9/5): Ok if Your Flexible - Location How small the room was. The lighting, very limited as to what lights could be turned on or off. It was an almost all on, or all off situation. Breakfast was way too expensive. They set a price that was as if they wanted you to go out and get breakfast somewhere else. It was 37 euros for two people. The only thing you could get were coffee pods for your room's coffee machine.

A due passi c'è il Volkenpark, bellissimo parco di Amsterdam. Buona la colazione dell'hotel, con un'ampia varietà. Hotel dotato di ascensore, punto di forza per gli standards di Amsterdam. La pulizia è discreta e potrebbe essere migliorata per il prezzo pagato. Non c'è un gran rapporto qualità-prezzo, ma purtroppo il costo è in linea con i prezzi molto alti della città.

Vicky (6/5): Generally ok but rather average place to lay your head in the heart of Amsterdam - This hotel is in an excellent location very close to the museums and to transport links. It’s functional, the staff were helpful and pleasant and sorted out a kettle for us and fixed a faulty safe quickly with minimal fuss. The whole place feels dark and airless and with few windows and there don’t seem to be any communal areas. the room was supposedly a twin room, but so small that the beds had to be together. It was also very dark and nobody replaced drink supplies or loo roll. The beds were also tiny and uncomfortable. Then there was breakfast served in the basement. The breakfast buffet room was so tiny that there was only room for a couple of people to get anything at any one time. The breakfast was not included and cost 18 euros extra, but staff turned a blind eye to us making ourselves sandwiches for lunch too, which made it seem reasonable value in the end.

Krzysztof (5/5): Na dwa dni było ok, ale na dłuższy pobyt w tym konkretnym poooju nie chciałbym zostać - Lokalizacja ok, w miarę blisko centrum. Personel w porządku. Pokój był bardzo ciemny. Okno małe i zlokalizowane tak, że nawet w południe trzeba było mieć zaświecone światło. Śniadania w piwnicy też nie nastrajają dobrze na cały dzień.

Para repetir la verdad, todo bien Todo bien , es verdad que era un poco raro que fuese en el sotano pero ya lo reservamos sabiendo que seria en la planta baja. Pero tod bien

Boeru (8/5): - The hotel was in a nice, quiet area, a 10-minute walk to the Rijksmuseum. There were lots of cafes and restaurants around. There was also a supermarket two streets away, which was also convenient. Bus 397 to the airport was 1 minute away. The room was clean and updated, but the windows didn't open. We were on the ground floor. I don't know if that applied to all floors, but it was strange not to be able to air the room. Breakfast was varied, rich, and filling, with savory choices like omelets, cheese, and cold meats, and sweet choices like pastry. There was coffee and juice, and fresh fruit. Overall, it was a delicious breakfast. The bathroom was modern and updated, but underfurnished. There were no shelves for your toiletries. None. The wash basin was literally inside the shower cabin, so when you showered, the floor in front of it got wet as well. You really need some slippers to go about in the bathroom and avoid getting your feet wet while using the wash basin. There was no fridge in the room, but the receptionists were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and allowed us to use the reception fridge.

Christina (1/5): Verschrikkelijk 😖 - Niks Er was een muis in de kamer!! 2:30 werd ik er wakker van en heb tot 6:00 met de receptie zitten appen dat ik woest was! Heb ze een Foto en filmpje van de muis gestuurd, maar niks mee gedaan. Ja ik kon gratis ontbijt krijgen de volgende dag, maar daar heb ik voor bedankt.

Essi (7/5): - Sijainti oli erinomainen, kävelyetäisyys keskustasta, mutta aivan vierestä meni tarvittaessa myös bussi keskustaan. Rauhallinen alue, jossa myös kivoja kahviloita lähettyvillä. Kahden hengen huone parisängyllä, parisänky oli vain 120cm leveä, mikä ei ole kahdelle aikuiselle ihmiselle riittävä. Pitäisi mielestäni mainita huoneen kuvauksessa. Pieniä epäsiisteyksiä huoneessa, muutamassa tyynyliinassa pieniä tahroja ja kahvinkeittimeen oli jäänyt vedet.

Anastasiia (4/5): Really noisy - The location was great, easy to get to the city centre on foot as well as by tram. Great neighbourhood. Nice breakfast just opposite the hotel. The room is quite rub down and needs refurbishing. The hairdryer was not working. The noise was unbelievable. It was impossible to sleep without ear plugs and still I was waking up every night because of noise.

Catalina (7/5): - Locatia foarte buna, la cateva minute distanta de tramvaiul 2 care ducea direct spre gara centrala. Magazine, plus terase, restaurante langa hotel Personalul hotelului. Nu sunt deloc amabili, iar doamna in varsta de la receptie foarte obraznica si deloc politicoasa.
