Guest Reviews
- Julie (7/5): - Great location, quiet area, easy check in. The outdoor space is in the shade for the whole day. The amount of shade can give the interior a slightly gloomy feel (Its probably a good thing in the summer heat). The dark kitchen and bathroom add to gloomy feel.

- Mona (5/5): A home in the shadow of the Acropolis - The location of the house was excellent and right in the city center. There were several supermarkets close by, and access to restaurants and attractions was very convenient. The bed was comfortable. I had read in the comments that the bathroom was small, but in fact, its size was perfectly fine for us 😄. The kitchen equipment was also adequate. The building was safe and quiet. The sofa in the living room had already been set up as a bed, which we appreciated, but it meant we didn’t really have a place to sit. For example, when we wanted to have breakfast or drink tea or coffee, we either had to go out to the balcony or stand, since it wasn’t practical to eat on the bedding. The balcony had no lighting, so at night we had to sit there using our phone flashlights.
There was also a washing machine, but no detergent or laundry pods were provided!! I looked everywhere and also sent messages, but unfortunately the host did not respond. In fact, on the second and third days I did not receive any reply despite following up several times.
Not receiving any further responses was really frustrating.

- GRIGORIOS (1/5): Improve customer service for sure - Nothing because I never got to get in the apartment I had booked this apartment for two nights. Upon arrival at approximately 4:30 PM, I discovered that the keys were not in the lock box as instructed.
After several attempts, I finally reached the property manager. Following multiple phone calls between the manager, the cleaning staff, and myself, I was informed that the keys were likely stolen. I was first asked to wait for a new set of keys, but I made the decision not to stay, as I did not feel safe knowing the apartment keys were missing.
They then suggested replacing the lock, which would have taken several hours. This was not a realistic option, as I had arrived with my luggage and had a business appointment scheduled just 30 minutes after my arrival.
As a result, I decided to book another apartment nearby on my own. Only after I had completed this new booking did the manager call me again to suggest an alternative apartment nearby that they also manage. At that point, I felt this was handled poorly, as this option could have been offered immediately. At the very least, they could have arranged a hotel stay for that night until the lock was replaced.
I was informed that my original booking would be refunded within 7–10 days. However, this situation caused significant stress, inconvenience, and disruption to my trip, entirely due to the property’s failure to manage access and security properly. A gesture of compensation would be appropriate to acknowledge the impact their mistake had on my travel and professional plans.

- Cynthia (9/5): We had a great stay here and the staff are great! - We arrived in the evening and it was easy to find the key safe to get the keys out for the apartment.
Upon entry, the whole apartment was clean with plenty of towels and bed sheets. The sofa bed was already turned into a bed, ready to go.
There was a bottle of water in the fridge and some Nespresso cups and tea bags.
The bathroom and bedroom were al very clean and there is a washing machine in the hallway as well. In the wardrobe there was an iron, hairdryer with diffuser and plenty of hangers and space for clothes.
The back door to the outside area has a fly screen, which should help with the amount of mosquitos (we still got plenty of mosquito bites, make sure you bring some stuff with you for these bloodsuckers).
Plenty of toilet paper in the bathroom and the shower is nice and warm (don’t forget to switch on the fuse in the hallway about 20 minutes before using hot water), with a good water pressure.
Our flight got cancelled on Friday afternoon, while we were having dinner and the great people from Your Home in Athens made sure we could stay for another night in this apartment. The communication with them has been great. We’ve had an issue with the window, but someone came and looked at it the same morning. I absolutely recommend this property to everybody! It would have been nice to have some cooking oil and kitchen towel when arriving, so it’s easy to cook something without having to buy a whole liter of oil.
- michael (10/5): - Perfect location and cost. I am so greatly appreciative of this establishment.
- Jamie (10/5): Excellent - Flexible very easy to work with and always available to communicate

Prière me rembourser. Il n avait personne pour nous redevoir.
- Chrystalla (9/5): A perfect place for Acropolis. - The location. Everything was good.
- Hannah (5/5): Every review you will read on this apartment is accurate - The good thing about this property was that every review you read on here is accurate, so you know exactly what you're getting. Great apartment location - you can literally walk everywhere and comfortable enough for one or two people. I also appreciated the washing machine and little kitchen in the apartment. The WiFi issues everyone talks about is still relevant in June 2025 and I only had WiFi on the last day of my stay. The bathroom is also tiny, which isn't normally an issue but the shower door doesn't close and keeps knocking into you as you shower. That gets quite annoying as it neither stays open or closed fully. The apartment is also generally quite dark, and there were a few slugs crawling around on my last day as I was leaving.
- Julie (8/5): Fantastic location and super COMFORTABLE - The bed and sofa bed were extremely comfortable, the soundproofing to the bedroom was superb especially given its location. The property was perfect for our needs. No dish towel to dry dishes, and sadly hot water unit stopped working after our first night. It was a great shower when it was working. As we reported on a Sunday they came to fix but required electrician on a Monday so cold showers … we left Monday as scheduled.
- Christina (7/5): Good -
- Iona (9/5): Very good! Would stay at again :) - The property was clean, in a great location, and well equipped ! It really is in the shade of the Acropolis, only about a 5 minute walk from the subway station (Acropoli) and you can literally walk past the Acropolis on your way to it! The sofa bed was also very comfy! Check in is easy, door locks securely etc. AND it’s close by to many cafes and restaurants and small convenience shops. It has a fridge/freezer and cooking facilities if you wanted to cook yourself. The only tiny downside is that there are windows looking from the bathroom into the bedroom, and one in the external hallway that looks into the kitchen. For the latter, whenever anyone outside switches a light on it shines directly into the kitchen which can be disturbing if you’re on the sofa bed late at night. Equally with the bathroom, there’s no way to use it without disturbing whomever is in the bedroom. Also the bathroom shower door doesn’t close, ironically I think it’s whatever seal they’ve put on the door to keep water in that prevents it from closing!
- Joachim (7/5): My stay in Athens. - The location was good I was not able to reach the owner by text or phone .
- Mariahanni (9/5): Excellent accommodation in a great location! - The property is close to the Acropolis and everything else in town. The owner is very accommodating, and the customer service is amazing. Everything you’ll need is also on the property. The one thing that caused me problems was the Wi-Fi connection. I contacted the management, but the Wi-Fi signal was too weak and intermittent, so I ended up not using it and just relying on my phone hotspot.
- Louise Elizabeth (6/5): - Great location, literally in the shade of the Acropolis, and good communication from the agents, but comfort and cleanliness was poor
- Despina (9/5): Superb -
- Lancaster (6/5): Nice place to stay for a quick stop - Nice property for a one night stay. Very close to Acropolis! Good communication and had late check out. The internet did not work which was very unfortunate as we had things to book for the coming days.
- Riyad (9/5): Superb - Well apportioned flat in great location
- Dean (8/5): Do recommend it. - Big with plenty of room. Close to everything. No
- Nicolae (7/5): Pretty good place to stay for a night but not more than that. - The good things are the location, the sheets are very clean and the bed is great. Very close to Acropolis, lots of places to eat and drink around. The internet connection is very bad, it didn’t worked most of the time and when it worked, the connection was incredible slow. In 2024 when people try to go to Mars you don’t have a good internet connection in the heart of Athens. The bathroom door is very, very noisy. If you use it during the night you will wake everyone from the apartment. The bathroom is very small, if you don’t like small spaces then it is not for you.
- Briana (9/5): Superb -
- Emmanouil (8/5): Very good -
- George (9/5): Excellent location,we were 2 minutes walk from the Acropolis and ancient theatre and metro station -
- Nagy (10/5): I can only recommend it. It’s clean, the host is super nice. The place is quite spacious. Close to everything. - Really well equipped, very close to everything(acropolis, syntagma) quiet neighborhood. AC to keep you cool on a hot day.
- Andrew (7/5): Well located and functional apartment for a short stay in Athens. - The property is in an excellent location, 5 minutes from Acropoli Metro Station, Plaka, great restaurants etc. The apartment is quite large with a separate lounge area and small kitchen. The bedroom is small but a small terrace helps, the bathroom is tiny, but functional with a decent shower. We didn’t meet the hosts, but information was provided on time and very detailed instructions given for location, key pick up, transfers etc. The apartment is a bit dark, would recommend it for as a well located base in Athens for a few nights with all the necessary amenities. Not particularly romantic or memorable.
- Alex (8/5): Very good - I have enjoyed the location, the apartment is well kept and very furnished to be a B&B. It is very central since is located in a road at the back of the Acropolis. The area is residential and very quiet at all time The only thing that gave me pain were the pillows too high which were not comfortable to sleep so I would suggest to buy a couple of orthopedics pillows
- Timothy (7/5): Good - Close to attractions Parking very hard
- Wendy (8/5): - This apartment was in a good area with easy access to the sights of Athens. It was spacious and clean. I would visit again
- Shiva (9/5): Good apartment next to the Acropolis for families! - Great location - 5 minutes walk to the Acropolis. Bed and kitchen were very nice. A/C and heater worked as expected. Great location for families and couples. Bathroom was super tiny but we made it work.
- Jan (9/5): Superb! - We loved the location! Its only a few minutes walk from the plaka, museum, and parthenon. Also close to restaurants and mini market. Definitely will recommend to my friends.
- Irma (7/5): Nice stay, quiet location. Everything in walking distance. - Very good and safe location. Monuments, shops and restaurants in walking distance. Outside space (patio) with a lot of privacy. Supermarkets close by. The artificial grass in the patio becomes wet when raining. It attracts mouskitos. I personally would remove the grass and put some nice tiles in the patio. Is also easier to keep clean.
- Justin (8/5): Decent bang for your buck - Nice location and overall nice value for the size of the place. Bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. Decent kitchen with microwave and other kitchen supplies. Shower has no door so water goes everywhere. It is also very small and ran out of hot water multiple times. Mosquitos were inside upon arrival but we were able to kill them ourselves. Main room AC would not turn on.
- Zoe (1/5): Thank God, it only one night… a very scary night. - very close to Acropolis shower room’s glass door couldn’t be closed, we have to use one leg to hold the door during shower😓. No natural light. No lock on the building entrance, feel very unsafe.
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Constandina (9/5): Really enjoyed the location. Easy walk to the museum, Plaka, Monestraki and other areas of central Athens. Metro close b - Location, location, location!
Bedroom comfortable and cool breeze from little courtyard in the evenings. No table or space to sit an eat a meal.
Bathroom lacked a little bit of space.
- Somin (8/5): Lovely well located athen apartment - The hotel is very well located and quite. The airport pick up service was also well arranged and spacious space was good. The bedroom and bathroom is spilt by a glass wall. When you are only two people, the flat is perfect but if you have anyone who will sleep on the sofabed in the living room, the toilet light during the night can wake people up.
- Diniz (9/5): Great Acropolis and Plakas Visit - Great location and condo. You are less than a minute from the Acropolis promenade and 6 min from Plakas restaurants/shops. The team was very resposive and helpful with tips. I would tear out the artificial grass in the patio and just have painted concrete.
- Peter (6/5): The stay was adequate and did its purpose. - The location was amazing and close to everything!
The communication and transfer to and from the property was second to none and a lot of stress was taken away from the fact that they staff helped so much as they always answered anything. It was noisy at times with street level talking outside our window. The hot water did not come on at times and the shower door was not closing.
There was some type of construction work outside our door one morning and lots of drilling and talking in the morning.
- Alvin (9/5): Superb - quiet neighborhood, well equipped facility, laundry machine. bit of a walk to subway station
- Judith (10/5): Exceptional - Location was excellent
- Gordana (9/5): Superb - Location is perfect! It has got nice little garden.Bed in the sleeping room is comfortable. Fold out bed in the living room is not comfortable,so maybe apartment is better suited for two persons instead of four (we were 2 adults and 2 kids). But for our short stay it was ok. And wi-fi is not smooth, signal is lost somewhere between a sleeping room and garden, and it may occasionally "hiccup".
- Kay (6/5): Under the shade of acropolis july'23 - Location just around corner from Acropolis museum; quietness of area; comfort of bed and sofa bed; functioning wifi; plentiful clean towels; good aircon. Foul smell outside on fake grass; glass shower door not closing; no bench or cupboard space in small bathroom; no teatowels in kitchen; only one set of keys for 2 guests.
- Mohamed (9/5): Good - Location Nothing
- William (10/5): Brilliantly - we arrived from sailing on a boat and they had left clothes washing capsules. also water in fridge and coffee capsules.
The bed is very comfortable. There is a cool outside space for eating and relaxing. Very convenient for transport and sites All good
- Севда (6/5): Pleasant -
- Християн (6/5): Pleasant -
- Elaine (9/5): very good location - great location, very comfortable, very nice apartment
- Keren (8/5): overall nice - Location is excellent, the air condition is definitely a blessing, the beds are comfy. There were teabags, coffee capsules & small chocolates, which were nice. Wifi worked well could do with a bit of maintenance (the broken door knobs) :) and a note about the wifi details - at least when I was there, they are what's written on the router, not on the welcome sign
- Nicolas (9/5): Superb -
- Bessie (9/5): Superb - Fabulous location!
- Suzanne (10/5): The perfect ‘home away from home’ while exploring Athens. - This apartment was a super comfortable ‘home away from home’ while we explored Athens. The location was unbelievable, right at the foot of the Acropolis, an easy walk to all the landmarks. plenty of food options too! The hosts were responsive and communicative. There is a lovely private courtyard too. n/a
- Sylvia (7/5): disappointing stay - The location was fantastic- only a couple of blocks from the Acropolis and restaurants.
The bed was very comfortable as was the living room
area. 1- The wi-fi wasn’t working when we arrived. I reached out to the host and he informed me that it was the weekend and no one would be available to fix it. Monday comes along and all I did was let the host know that we would prefer that no one comes in to the apartment while we are not there and his answer was simply that no one would be coming. No other options were given. As a result, we had to purchase an extended data plan from our home carrier and go to the cafe across the street for Wi-Fi service. This was an inconvenience that should have been resolved and extra money spent because of it.
2- The bathroom is just not acceptable. It is way too small - you can’t really move in the shower and the shower head needs to be replaced.
The shower door doesn’t close properly.
The toilet paper holder is loose and as a result, the toilet paper roll comes out and falls in the ground.
3- The patio is not very inviting with the dead plants.
** Due to the lack of Wi-Fi and the poor bathroom facilities, my partner and I decided to leave a day early.
These items (except for the Wi-Fi issue) have all been mentioned in previous reviews. I imagine that we all think that they are resolved when we book our stay there.
This apartment is definitely not worth more than 3 stars at best which is sad because it is could be fantastic.
- Phil (8/5): Very good -
- Zane (9/5): Superb -
