• Mark (8/5): A comfortable and clean venue but hidden away a bit if walking on foot to hotel. - Nice, large and comfortable bed. Good hot water flow in shower. Easy book in with friendly staff. A good array of food for breakfast to cover most tastes. The cups in the room were too small. Providing mugs as well would be a good option. There was no liquid hand wash in bathroom.

• Marife (9/5): It's my first time in Sydney and was worried how to travel around the hotel. The location is perfect - Staff members are friendly. I was able to check-in smoothly and was given information I needed. Maybe include information about nearby local grocer on Miller Street and the Victoria Crossing Metro and St. Mary's Catholic Church. Overall, I am happy with my stay. Thank you. My last two days, the 9th floor was getting renovated. I have mild asthma so the smell from paint bothered me. But it can't be helped.

• Jennifer (10/5): Cozy and conveniently located, this place met all of our needs and beyond. - This hotel is in an excellent location being so close to public transportation. We drove up from Melbourne and were able to explore the city in PT with ease. There is also an underground parking garage for a fee which we splurged on knowing we’d be using PT - totally worth the cost not having to worry about street parking. The room itself was very comfortable. I loved the under lighting and was my favourite feature. Overhead lighting makes me so uncomfortable but this room always felt cozy and soft with the under lighting. Even the bathroom had it for the 3am toilet trip! The bed was really soft and comfy. The room was very quiet and had everything I needed. I also really valued having the choice to opt out of room cleaning as I generally keep things clean anyway and the hotel could save a bit of water. Staff were incredibly friendly and kind and patient. I didn’t get one single bad vibe from anyone there! We paid for the buffet breakfast for our stay and there was a good variety of options including making your own juice - all the fruit/veg is ready for you to make a fresh juice including ginger! I will definitely recommend this hotel and if you’re reading this, don’t hesitate to! My only critique would be the music in the dining/bar area in the morning being too loud and chaotic. It would be better if they had a morning chill playlist playing with softer music. It was too loud to talk over and super jarring first thing in the morning. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some EDM and classic 80s rock but, maybe not so much in the sleepy transition of early morning.

Good value for money also, and super close to the Miller St North train station exit. The entry to the hotel was abit confusing. We arrived by train, so we were walking around trying to find the hotel for a while. A few more signs around the road would be helpful

• Lesley (7/5): Attractive layout and outlook, comfy bed and furniture but inadequate kitchenware - The size and layout of the main room, bedroom and bathroom; the outlook, view to the east including some of the harbour; the discreet and yet very adequate lighting; the comfy bed and lounge chairs; the large televisions; the good sized dining table and padded chairs. The appearance of a good-sized kitchen area. The kitchen bench was long, with many under-bench drawers and cupboards BUT so poorly equipped. Many empty. Booking.com list included tea and coffee maker. There was just a kettle, tea bags and INSTANT coffee sachets. Downstairs cafe was not available for afternoon coffee, nor after 9,30am. The frig was tiny. There were just 4 dining plates, 4 cereal bowls and 5 tiny chunky cups and saucers. There was a microwave but no microwave cooking dishes and no food prep utensils. The tea towel was smelly. There was no kitchen cloth or sponge for wiping down surfaces, nor in bathroom for mopping up unavoidable shower spills. Bed very comfy but 4 pillows all absurdly large, so even one gave me a sore neck when sleeping.

• Trevor (4/5): Very disappointing for a normally flawless hotel. - Location Bed was super saggy. We have stayed at the hotel many times and have never had an issue. The two beds clamped together were sagging in the middle. The lift from the carpark was out of service, with no alternatives other than a steep staircase to enter the hotel. I have recently had leg surgery and struggled to even enter the hotel, particularly with bags.

• Jayanta (5/5): Passable. Ok just to stay overnight with no expectation - Locations Cleanliness....very poor housekeeping. No vacuum cleaning. I found a thread and a piece of paper which had dropped on the floor on Day 1 remained there till the last hour. No cupboard for storing clothes. Iron board was soiled and had to ask for replacement.

• Kerry (10/5): Another lovely stay at Rydges, North Sydney - I returned to this hotel after previous excellent experiences. This stay was equally as good. We did have one small issue with the sofa bed, however, when we notified Sujan on reception of this, he quickly rectified the problem calmly and without fuss. He is such a professional and friendly young man, who is indeed a great asset to the hotel. There is noting to dislike about this hotel
