- Reisebüro Pilz (10/5): - Es ist ein wunderbares Hotel und der Blick ist atemberaubend und wirklich sehr besonders. Wir hatten Halbpension und das war sehr gut. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Man sitzt auch draußen sehr schön. Die schöne Musik zu Unterhaltung am Abend runden den Tag perfekt ab. Ich kann Jedermann dieses Hotel empfehlen. Rechtzeitig buchen, denn es scheint sehr gut immer gebucht zu sein und die besten Zimmer mit Blick auf die Pyramiden sind natürlich am schnellsten weg. Beim Check-In am besten die Variante mit Zahlung jedes Mal am Tisch nach dem Abendessen wählen. Das ist am übersichtlichsten. Der Service im Restaurant hätte umsichtiger sein können. (Frage nach Getränken und Abräumen der Teller)
- krishna (2/5): Over hyped hotel due to Pyramid location, poor service, dodgy food and focus on extracting USD. - I had a severe food poisoning at breakfast on MONDAY 18TH probably from the strwabery smoothie drink I vomited all food and liquids for 24 hours and this disrupted my schedule of meetings and return from Egypt On the last day on 18th May after having spent 2 nights at the hotel and checked out in the morning, I came back at 15:00 and asked for a room for 8 hours before my flight late night. I paid 80 USD because I needed a quiet plance and wifi for an important call. I would not connect to wifi, and had to walk back to reception because the phone was not working in the room. There the front office officer realised he had wrougly typed my name in the wifi access system although he had my passport. I missed most of the meeting because of this. There was no reaction or excuse expressed by the hotel

De lieve mensen in de bediening en onze chauffeur Alladin ( ja die van de lamp) is ons verblijf extra aangenaam geworden. Het interne reisbureau en het feit dat als je rechtstreeks bij het hotel boekt er het ontbijt bij in zit en bij booking moet je er extra voor betalen.
- Carolina (4/5): El personal lo arruina todo - Las instalaciones buenas, al frente a las piramides, muy rico el desayuno El personal en general es pésimo, arruinan la buena calidad de las instalaciones. La primera noche mi amiga tuvo problemas con su vecina que no quería que prendieran el televisor ni hablaran, solicitaron cambio de habitación pero tuvieron nulo apoyo, no hicieron nada y querían juntarlas para saber ambas historias (queriendo exponerla nuevamente). Al día siguiente fueron muy desagradables en la piscina, habían 45°pero querían cerrarla siendo que aún estaba de día, desagradables para solicitar toallas o cualquier cosa, respondían en voz alta y fuerte en especial a las mujeres. Por la tarde quisimos comer en el hotel, el restaurant no tenía pizzas, nos atendieron con mala cara y al solicitar dividir la cuenta por parejas me puso la máquina en la cara, disgustado supongo que por "complicarle la cuenta". En el desayuno si fueron muy amables, pero en general arruinan todo el servicio

- Jo (10/5): Amazing! - Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo exceeded all of our expectations and made for an absolutely amazing stay. The hotel offers the perfect combination of a cultural trip and a relaxing pool holiday. Our room was spacious, spotless, and cleaned beautifully every day. The complimentary bottles of water were replenished daily, and the view was simply breathtaking, with both the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum visible from our room. Breakfast was outstanding. There was a huge selection each morning, and the eggs were cooked to perfection exactly how we wanted them every single day. The pool bar service could be a little slow at times, but the food was delicious and well worth the wait. The pool area was immaculate and very well managed. Towels were brought over immediately, and the staff were always happy to move umbrellas to provide either sun or shade depending on what we wanted. The reception staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was wonderfully quiet at night, and we slept incredibly well every evening. There was genuinely nothing to fault. Although it takes around 30 minutes by car to reach downtown Cairo, we were very glad we chose this hotel. It offered a much more peaceful and relaxing atmosphere than staying in the busy city centre. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is an exceptional place to stay and the perfect base for anyone wanting to experience Egypt’s incredible history while also enjoying a luxurious and restful holiday.

From the moment I arrived, the level of hospitality and attention to detail was exceptional. My sincere appreciation as well to Caroline from Guest Relations for her professionalism and genuine care, ensuring everything was perfect throughout my stay. Grateful thanks to Gana at the reception for her warm welcome and smooth assistance, and to Habiba from Housekeeping for maintaining such a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. This is an exceptional hotel, in a breathtaking location (overlooking the Giza Pyramids), with outstanding staff! It couldn't not have been more perfect. - pamelaaC6350XW (10/5): My favorite place to stay in Egypt - First, there are lovely, efficient receptionist Ganna and guest relations, Caroline who welcome you into the Steinberger Pyramids Hotel as if it is yours. Then every wish is granted. I needed hair oil from Egypt and Caroline not only sent me photos, she called and had it delivered. 25 Egyptian pounds ... The room cleaning and maintenance staff were very sensitive and caring. Grateful! Best of all the general manager gave the early arrivals of our group an upgrade. We didn't have to change rooms! I even had leftover food from outside warmed up! The jewelry merchants at the front are empathetic and patient. Everyone here that I came across was sincerely interested in what and how we were doing. I will treasure this experience and whole area forever! The breakfasts are too delicious ro write about ❤️! The weather was perfect too, and we could control the air-conditioning in the room... we had it turned off in the conference room ...ha ha. What else can I say except, .. oh yes! You opened my heart deeply, , I felt safe, supported, and I allowed myself to expand my trust to all of humanity ... in that Egyptian spirit 🙏 : Welcome back home

Environnement délicieux et apaisant (piscine, végétation, bungalows...). Un excellent choix. Le (tout petit) paradoxe est que bien que l'hôtel soit juste en face du fabuleux Grand Musée Egyptien, il est impossible de traverser à pied, et il faut prendre un taxi. Idem pour aller sur le site des pyramides. Mais ce n'est naturellement pas la "faute" de l'hôtel, et il n'y a pas d'offre d'hôtellerie de l'autre côté de cette avenue impossible à traverser. C'est juste un peu frustrant.

Удобный отдельный вход с мягкими креслами на маленькой терассе. Хороший подогреваемый бассейн. Очень вкусные, разнообразные завтраки. Очень понравился номер : большая гардеробная с зеркалом в полный рост, огромная кровать, плоский телевизор с большой диагональю. Душ, туалет, раковина и дамский столик Очень удобно расположенные в отдельной зоне. Очень внимательный персонал. Отдыхают в основном европейские пенсионеры. Рекомендую этот отель для остановки при посещении пирамид и музея. Сами вернёмся сюда с удовольствием! Очень дорогой бар у бассейна, мы были неприятно удивлены стоимостью. Заказали коктейль виски -кола (баночка Pepsi и примерно 50 мл не самого лучшего виски) стоили 15$. Очень большие подушки. Нам было не удобно спать.

- Dietmar (7/5): Gute Lage, viel zu teuer. - Beste Lage zum Großen Agyptischen Museum, etwa 500m zu Fuß .Das Hotel liegt an einer sehr befahrenen großen Straße , hört man aber kaum. Die Pyramiden sind von dort zu sehen. Das Hotel scheint schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein. Der sehr hohe Preis erschließt sich mir nicht, vielleicht die Lage?? Häufig Reisegruppen. Keine Ausflüge oder Taxi über Hotel buchen, sind deutlich teurer.

The staff were all incredibly kind to our children, the food was great, and a special shout-out to Hany, who was a joy to interact with every day and also took care of cleaning the rooms.

Ahmed the cleaner was great and did a brilliant job which was so welcome after a day at the Pyramids. Food is good especially at breakfast and the Pool bar snacks are also worth it. - Fedia (8/5): - Sehr aufmerksames und nettes Personal. Ich hatte meinen Rucksack vergessen und sie haben es mir unversehrt mit dem Auto zugeschickt. Zwar etwas zu teuer, aber trotzdem alles sicher und vertrauensvoll! Frühstück war top und die renovierten Zimmer sind auch sehr schön!

- Mª SOLEDAD (10/5): Hotel único, pero servicio por debajo de lo esperado - Ubicación inmejorable frente al museo y con vistas espectaculares a las pirámides. Desayuno fantástico, muy variado y de gran calidad. Habitación amplia y camas muy cómodas. Trato muy amable y comunicación muy cómoda vía WhatsApp con Caroline de Guest Relations. El servicio no está a la altura de un hotel de esta categoría. En la piscina había mucho ruido de niños jugando con la pelota sin ningún control por parte de los socorristas, a pesar de haber una piscina infantil. Destaca la amabilidad del personal, aunque la atención es lenta y poco ágil, con falta de proactividad en el servicio sobre todo en el restaurante de la terraza El baño tiene muy poca iluminación. La presión de la ducha es muy baja. El secador no funcionaba correctamente (se apagaba por sobrecalentamiento) y, pese a solicitar uno nuevo varias veces, nunca lo trajeron. Tampoco respondieron a otras incidencias: el mando de la televisión sin pilas no fue reemplazado y la recogida de lavandería express (con suplemento del 50%) requirió varias llamadas. La diferencia entre el precio mostrado (230€) y el precio final (431€) es muy significativa y no se explica claramente en el proceso de reserva.

- Walter & Andrea (10/5): Ein grüne Oase zum Entspannen. - Die Lage für das GEM und zu den Pyramiden einfach perfekt. Zum Entspannen ist die Poolanlage und die Poolbar perfekt. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich. Wir waren 5 Tage vor Ort und haben in einer sehr hektischen Stadt die Ruhe im Hotel gefunden. Mit der Halbpension haben wir die perfekte Wahl getroffen. Das Essen / Buffet war umfangreich, ausgezeichnet und wir als Vegetarier haben einiges an Auswahl gehabt. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Alles OK

- christine (10/5): Thank you for an amazing experience. - This stay was incredibly special for us was a short trip back to our homeland, and a meaningful father-daughter getaway to relax and recharge. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcomed. A heartfelt thank you to Caroline and Ganna at reception, who were absolutely phenomenal. Caroline went above and beyond to organize a wonderful tour for me, while Ganna made sure my delivery arrived smoothly without any stress. Both of them welcomed us with the biggest smile. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional. The servers were attentive and kind, and the housekeeping team—especially Abd allah was outstanding. He kept our room spotless and made sure we were always comfortable and warm. We also had another phenomenal housekeeper, Mohammed, who insured that we were comfortable before we checked out and made sure that we had help with our luggage and made sure we had enough water just exceptional. What touched us most was the genuine care shown to my father, who is recovering from a severe stroke. His mobility is limited, yet every staff member we encountered offered help with kindness and compassion. Even the chefs they came around from the kitchen where they were cooking and they would help my father to get up and get food. One of them that was by the grilling station even brought my father food on the table. I have been to so many hotels, and I’ve never experienced such amazing Customer care. I truly can’t say enough about this hotel. We are so grateful for the experience and look forward to bringing the rest of our family back. Your hospitality is truly top-notch—keep up the amazing work!

- Anja (8/5): - Perfecte ligging tegenover het nieuwe GEM museum en vlak bij de pyramides Het hotel ligt aan de rand van Cairo wat prima is maar er zijn in de buurt zijn geen andere restaurants terwijl het hotel alleen een buffetrestaurant. A la carte eten kan 's-avonds alleen buiten bij het poolrestaurantje. Ze hebben binnen volgens mij plek voldoende om een restaurant er bij te creëren.

- Veronika (10/5): Great stay with excellent service - We had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent with a wide selection, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

- Enrico (10/5): Absolute Weiterempfehlung - Wir hatten einen schwierigen Start in Ägypten und sind in ein unschönes Hotel untergebracht worden. Wir haben dann umgebucht in das Steigenberger Hotel. Da lagen Welten dazwischen. Das Person war mega freundlich, sind herzlich empfangen worden und hatten ein total schönes Zimmer. Check-In dauerte keine 10 Minuten (im anderen Hotel 2,5 Stunden) und Wünsche wurden sofort umgesetzt. Besonders hervor zu heben ist die Caroline von der Gästebetreuung. Sie war jederzeit ansprechbar über WhatsApp und hat sofort geholfen wenn es Verständigungsprobleme gab. Alles in allem eine 10 von 10. Jederzeit wieder.

- Ahmed (10/5): Amazing Vacation - That place was amazing, seriously one of the most beautiful spots we've ever stayed at. Everyone, from the gate guard to the receptionists and chefs, greeted us with a smile. They were all super welcoming and really wanted us to have a good time. The food was incredible too, with so much to choose from. A big shoutout to Caroline and the receptionists for helping us with everything. Oh, and the view was absolutely stunning, watching the sunrise over the pyramids was just wonderful. Nothing

Great hotel. Lovely layout and facilities. I think it would be so clever to have a viewing space to have sundowners with the pyramids in view.

- Renate (5/5): Mittelklassehotel zu 5-Sterne-Preis - eine Enttäuschung - Umfangreiches Buffet beim Frühstück. Geheiztes Pool. Durchschnittliches Mittelklassehotel, von einem 5-Sternehotel - außer beim Preis - weit entfernt. Zimmer Pyramid View oder Museum View liegt direkt an der 8-spurigen Schnellstraße, man kann nur mit Ohrstöpseln schlafen, weil es keine Schallschutzfenster gibt. Die Möbel sind alt und abgewohnt. Spa und Gym werden derzeit umgebaut. Im Restaurant gibt es am Abend nur - sehr teures - mittelmäßiges Buffet. A la carte kann man nur an der Poolbar essen, das ist im März kalt und ungemütlich. In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es nichts, keine Restaurants, keine Geschäfte. Man muss überall mit dem Taxi hinfahren. Das neue Museum GEM ist genau gegenüber, aber auch nur per Taxi (10-15 Minuten) zu erreichen, da es keine Möglichkeit gibt, die Schnellstraße zu queren.
- Stevan (9/5): Ein toller Aufenthalt. Eine Oase am Komfort in einer einfachen Umgebung. - Die Lage war für den Besuch der Pyramiden und das Great Egyptian Museum perfekt. Das Essen war vorzüglich. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Für uns hat es weder mit dem Abholen vom Flughafen noch mit der Fahrt raus mit dem Fahrservice geklappt.

- Detlev (6/5): Steigenberger ist nicht immer Steigenberger - Da das neue Museum GEM genau gegenüber des Hotels liegt, hatten wir gehofft, einfach über die Strasse gehen zu können - die Strasse erwies sich jedoch als ca. 8-spurige (pro Richtung) Stadtautobahn mit einer imposanten Betonmauer in der Mitte. Unmöglich zu überqueren. Stattdessen riet man uns im Hotel ein Taxi zu nehmen, das dann bis zum nächsten Kreisverkehr fuhr und dann wieder zurück zum Museum/Hotel. Preis/Fahrt ca. 10,-- EUR. Das GEM lohnt unbedingt einen Besuch !!! Das Personal war zum Teil sehr nett und hilfsbereit, andererseits aber auch unzuverlässig und auf Trinkgelder fixiert. Wirklich gut gefallen hat uns das Frühstück mit einem großen, vielfältigen Angebot und die Möglichkeit, bereits im Februar draußen, inmitten von Palmen und exotischem Grün zu sitzen. Steigenberger Pyramids kann nicht mit einem deutschen Steigenberger Hotel verglichen werden. Das Niveau, die Instandhaltung, die sanitären Anlagen sind deutlich unter Niveau.
