- Wesley (9/5): We are likely to return! - The location is perfect for exploring North Sydney. The view, well you can see why this hotel had been named the way it has! It was fairly quiet and check in / out was easy. Only two things to mention, and neither is a really big deal. Firstly, the piped music in the lobby area and restaurant is too loud (especially during breakfast at 7 in the morning). Secondly (and this is somewhat to be expected) the food is overpriced. The dessert I got (Brownie) was about $23 and the portion was tiny!

Nice food that was well priced on the Anzac Special at LB’s Restaurant. Really nice buffet breakfast. A lovely note and chocolates gifted in our room for our special celebration. Carpet in the hall access to the function rooms was in poor condition. Our room wasn’t serviced until quite late in the day, but understandable because it was a public holiday.

The variety and quality of breakfast buffet was great, and the special menu dinner was excellent value. Loved this North Sydney location - Very close to the metro train and local bus stops (couple of minutes); Short walk to Lavender Bay and Luna Park. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but be aware of the noise of suburban trains that pass directly by the hotel.

If you are a light sleeper recommend you request a room on a higher level we were on level 4 and could here the train during the night. We were tied from a big day so it was ok for us.
