- hueladh (10/5): Excellent hotel and service - I had a short 6 day stay and I enjoyed the experience and comfort in this hotel. The breakfast was fresh and had a variety of food. The customer service and hotel reception were always very helpful, very kind and generous. The rooms are spacious and contain all amenities. The roof top bar and pool has amazing views. Thank you for your hospitality. The hotel is located on the Old quarter next to all the shops and busy streets.
- U3844BDtims (10/5): Great and better than expected - We 3 friends stayed at this hotel and I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel is. Very friendly welcome on check-in and detailed explanation of everything in the hotel. The rooms are spacious, not huge, good beds and bedding. The rooftop pool is quite small, but amazing views and the restaurant/bar on that floor is a nice place to hang out, though the food was a bit ordinary. It is odd that the food up there isn't great, as the breakfast buffet was excellent with a superb choice of western and eastern cuisine and super helpful staff. Lastly, we each had a massage at the in-house spa and whilst more expensive than those outside the hotel, the massage was great and in a luxurious setting.

It was my birthday so they had prepared our room with flower petals, a cake and a bottle of wine. The staff were very attentive and efficient and the location in the old quarter was close to all attractions. Lovely pool area overlooking the lake as well as a great gym on the 11th floor, well equipped with great views. Great breakfast with both Asian and western style dishes. We would love to come back and can highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful boutique hotel with the rustic charm!

From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and cared for. When they noticed we had booked two separate rooms, they proactively upgraded us to a beautiful family suite so we could stay together—a thoughtful gesture that truly set the tone for our trip. They even graciously extended our checkout time to accommodate our schedule. The highlights of our stay included: Exceptional Service: Every team member was enthusiastic and helpful, especially with managing our many pieces of luggage. Impeccable Rooms: The suite was modern, spotless, and incredibly clean. We especially loved the deep soaking tub and great amenities. Fantastic Breakfast: The morning spread offered a large, delicious variety of options. Post-Checkout Hospitality: After checking out, we had six hours before our flight. The hotel stored our bags and invited us to use their pool, lounges, and restaurants. They even offered us a shower if we wanted to tour the city and freshen up before the airport. Beautiful room with a stunning view over Hanoi, thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks and fresh fruit, and an amazing view from the pool and rooftop bar. I also had the best salmon salad I’ve ever eaten there The shower temperature fluctuated at times, suddenly becoming very hot before returning to normal. The air conditioning also had a small issue now and then; turning it off and back on again temporarily fixed the problem. It was also a bit unfortunate that there was no hairdryer in the bathroom, though those are all minor details

The central location was absolutely perfect — everything in Hanoi’s Old Quarter felt so close and easy to explore, with great cafes, restaurants and the lake just moments away. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to help with recommendations and anything we needed throughout our stay. The rooftop pool and bar were a real highlight — such a beautiful place to relax after a busy day exploring Hanoi, with amazing views across the city. First with 12 other people and then went back on my own on my return from the Halong bay cruise because it was an amazing hotel. The staff went out of their way. Friendliest and most helpful I have ever seen. Bed was so comfortable. The room was super clean and everything worked great. My first room didn’t have a great view and the second time had a spectacular view of the cathedral. Beautiful modern rooms. Used the spa which was AMAZING. The rooftop pool is spectacular with a view of the lake and a rooftop bar/restaurant. Not huge but so well situated. I would absolutely stay here again in my next trip and highly recommend the oriental Jade.
- Passenger64412378771 (10/5): A tranquil paradise in the vibrant Hanoi old town - This was just an overnight on a business trip, but my 2nd time to the Oriental Jade, and that was on purpose. The staff really treat you as a 5 star guest, from the welcome drink on the sofa at check in all the way to standing at your taxi on the way out to wave you goodbye. There is so much to do in the immediate area and you really are in the heart of the old town, which is busy and quite loud. Heading into the hotel gives you a feeling of calm and tranquility. The rooms are not huge but beautifully appointed, very comfortable and the airconditioner is extremely efficient. Soundproofing is great if you keep the windows closed. There is no iron or ironing board in the room but you can ask for one of needed. Everything is clean and well maintained. The breakfast selection is vast and you have choices all the way from a full hot breakfast to a few desserts too.....all were delicious. Great rooftop bar with a view over the surrounding area, friendly staff and cold drinks.....which is needed in May! Overall, a great stay - well done Oriental Jade! Honestly not
- AndyTravels (10/5): - Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer (Jade Suite) war sehr sauber und geräumig. Der Standort des Hotels top. Der (infinity) Rooftop-Pool war sehr angenehm, mit griffbereiten Handtüchern, und ein schönes Foto-Motiv. Beim Gym gab es 2 Duschen. Am Abreisetag durften wir weiterhin den Pool und die Duschen nutzen. Den Room-Service (Essen) konnte man bis 21:30 Uhr nutzen und das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Massagen im Untergeschoss waren sehr angenehm und die Räume sauber. Wir hatten 2 45-minütige Massagen inklusive. Beim Frühstück gab es diverse warme Eier- und Brotgerichte direkt an den Tisch gebracht. Wir hatten 15% Discount auf den Room-Service und den Spa-Service. Täglich gab es 2 Wasser kostenlos, 2 Getränke aus der Minibar und 2 Drinks bei der Bar auf der obersten Etage. Am Ende wurden wir sogar zum Bahnhof gefahren und zum Gleis gebracht. Wirklich ein sehr schönes, sauberes und erstklassiges Hotel, wo der Gast an erster Stelle steht. 11/10 Eigentlich nichts. Wenn man freundlich gefragt hat, ist uns das Personal stets entgegengekommen. - H256KValicew (10/5): Amazing staff, great location, will definitely return! - We had an amazing stay at the Oriental Jade Hotel at both the start and end of our two week vacation. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help us during our stay, with amazing transfers organised, supper with dietary requirements and providing updates when there was a (brief) city-wide blackout and the generators kicked in. The location is excellent and the hotel (including its rooftop pool and amazing Spa) meant we could easily spend a few hours at the end of the day after checking out before our late night flight. We will definitely return to The Oriental Jade Hotel when we return to Hanoi, and would highly recommend it to friends and family. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

- R6600THmatthewb (10/5): My wonderful stay at the Oriental Jade Hotel. - I highly recommend staying here at the Original Jade Hotel. First, the location is amazing if you enjoy walking around. It’s extremely close to Hoan Kiem Lake, shops, restaurants. The hotel its self is beautiful, clean, with a rooftop pool and bar that give an amazing view of the area and Lake. The room we stayed in was comfortable, had a nice view, and all the amenities one would like. The outlets even supported western style plugs. The mini fridge was always stocked with water, the shower was large with a waterfall shower head, and toilet with a bidet. I can’t not mention the staff. From the moment I entered til the moment I left they took care of me and my husband. Always warm and welcoming, always willing to answer my questions, always kind in a genuine way. The value of the hotel was great! There is big breakfast buffet available every morning that alway left my belly full for my day’s adventure. I really enjoyed my stay here and when I come back to Hanoi, I will be staying here again.

- Dale (10/5): A tranquil paradise within the bussling old town - It was a short overnight trip but my 2nd time at the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel like royalty when you arrive and depart. The hotel is fresh, modern, classy and clean. The lobby smells great and although you are in the centre of the busy old town it's calm and tranquil inside. Eve to the point of leaving the hotel, they escorted me out, into my taxi and waved goodbye. So classy! Free snacks in the room and very efficient air conditioning. Nothing, it really was wonderful. Only thing to "mention" was that there was no iron and ironing board in the room. I could've asked and they would have brought one but it was late when I arrived and I had an early start so didn't bother. Really a non-issue.

The rooftop bar and pool have a spectacular view over the lake. What made our stay truely memorable was as the staff. To an individual, they were polite, friendly and what struck us most was their genuine care about wanting to make our experience of their hotel as pleasant as possible. Breakfast was great and the spa was great. Would 100% return.

- Maricar (10/5): Wonderful stay in Hanoi!!! - The hotel location is right within the heart of the old quarter. Having said that, it’s neatly tucked in a corner that’s not overwhelmingly busy. We were met by a wonderful group of hotel staff. The reception staff gave us a very thorough set of instructions and recommendations of places to see and where to eat. We walked to restaurants and Hoa Lo prison museum from the hotel. The hotel is so close to Huan Kiem lake. They were very gracious to accommodate us before the check in time. The staff communication was so on point and we had help with setting up transportation to our next destination in Ninh Binh. The driver was very punctual, quiet, and safe. The manager Brian sent me a follow up message to make sure we made it to Ninj Binh safely. Best service from start to finish!! Thank you so much!!! Will definitely come back to this hotel in the future. None

- Rebecca (10/5): Wonderful hotel but *exceptional* staff - The hotel is exceptionally well-located in Ha Noi old quarter within easy walking distance of major spots. The hotel is beautifully decorated in an old style and everything was spotless. In addition, the staff were absolutely exceptional. The welcome and service were beyond any expectations, and all of the staff were pleasant and kind when dealing with us. We had an early flight so they prepared a breakfast box (including some fruit sushi which was adorable and delicious!), the night staff (porter and desk) were great and attentive despite the time (4.30 am!) and the housekeeping staff were also so cheery and nice during our stay. Id also like to acknowledge Nancy who helped us out with an additional request - we really appreciated her help! The pool is a little small, you won't be doing any laps! But the view is worth it and the bar has a good selection of drinks and food - but the prices are high for Vietnam

- Calvin (10/5): Exemplary hotel - I had a fantastic stay at the Oriental Jade Hotel. Everything was exemplary from start to finish. The staff were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore Hanoi, and the hotel itself was spotless at all times. The room was very comfortable, and I especially appreciated how accommodating the staff were when I requested a room with a bath. They moved me without any issue and handled everything efficiently. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and both the pool and gym were very impressive with amazing views over the city. The rooftop bar (especially at night) was also a highlight of the stay. The only downside for me was the absence of a steam room, but aside from that, the experience was outstanding. I will happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

- Kristian (10/5): Außergewöhnlich gut, toller Service, fantastisches Frühstück. - Sehr komfortable Betten. Konstante 24° im Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage, obwohl es draußen 29 Grad hatte. Fantastisches Personal, das wirklich sehr aufmerksam war. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und ich vermisse es sehr. Es gibt ein tolles Buffet mit asiatischen und europäischen Speisen und viel Obst. Es war auch toll, am Tag unserer Abreise abends noch mal duschen zu können. So sind wir viel entspannter in den Flieger gestiegen. Auch empfehlen können wir den Flughafen Shuttleservice. Der Fahrer Diep ist sehr nett und spricht sehr gut Englisch. Die zentrale Lage war sehr gut, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Die Aussicht vom Dach war auch toll. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen, denn wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und sehr gut gefrühstückt. Der Pool war im April für mich zu kalt. Er war nicht beheizt und er hatte gefühlte 26 bis 28 Grad. Vielleicht lag es auch daran, dass die Sonne nicht schien und die Außentemperatur tagsüber auch nur 26 bis 29 Grad waren.

The pickup service from the airport was late, but they compensated this by canceling the entire fee, and our bill at their bar. On top they gave us a goodbye gift at checkout. I’ve never encountered this in all my years of traveling. The rooms are comfortable, clean and silent. I strongly recommend this hotel. Nothing
