The location was a quick walk to all of the best spots and the fancy coffee machine was perfect for grab and go coffee in the morning. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone! There was nothing to dislike

It was a clean comfortble room that you looked forward to coming back to. The shower was a bit small. The room was not big. The location was slightly outside of the main sights but easily walkable and the metro is very easy to navigate.

• kimberly (1/5): Rude staff and terrible rooms with ridiculously small elevator. - We didn’t like anything about this hotel but it was in a walkable area. The hotel was nothing like Hotel Montalembert, which was exceptional for its friendly staff and warm accommodations. The reception staff was rude. We asked immediately to switch rooms since we were on the top floor in a closet space and the reception staff laughed at my request and said it was not possible because we were only staying one night. I saw they did have rooms available online for the one night but we were refused. Little do they know we plan to return with our extended family and stay two weeks. We plan to book the superior hotel - Hotel Montalembert instead. The elevator is a joke also at Solly and takes forever so plan to wait or take the stairs. If you are on the 7th floor then I hope you are very fit to carry your bags up to your dingy tiny room that smells.

• Lauren (8/5): Absolutely beautiful hotel, great location, facilities could be improved. - Beautiful boutique hotel, the decor inside, especially the foyer is super stylish, bright and Parisian vibes. We had a small balcony in our room with the park view, I would highly recommend this as the park was lively as it was good weather with table tennis, bowls etc but the best part was the fountain. We slept with the doors open and had the soothing sounds of the fountain and the beautiful trees blowing in the wind. The rooms are decorated beautifully also, super comfy beds, loved the addition of water jugs that you can refill downstairs in the kitchen area. The open kitchen area almost feels like you are staying in someone’s home, which is a really nice touch. The lift wasn’t working well. It was opening and closing a minimum of 4 times, (once was 12), before moving which wasn’t ideal. Also our tv wasn’t working and didn’t get fixed during our 3 night stay. We did get a free breakfast as compensation, but unfortunately the gluten free options weren’t great.

• Beate (10/5): Ein wunderschönes Hotel mitten in Paris - Für mich und meinen Mann das ideale Stadthotel in wunderbarer Umgebung um die Stadt vielfältig zu Fuß und mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erkunden. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und das Frühstück mehr als empfehlenswert. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder wählen wenn wir einen Paris-Urlaub planen. Der Charme dieses Hauses spiegelt die Lebensfreude der Franzosen wieder und diese Stadt hat so viele Möglichkeiten zu bieten. Mein Mann und ich kommen gerne wieder. Wir sind mit zwei sehr gut befreundeten Paaren zusammen mit dem Zug angereist. Es hat uns so gut gefallen das wir nächstes Mal auch ein Zimmer mit Balkon wählen würden.

• Rachel (8/5): Cute hotel but not the best location. - The photos online are true to what the room looked like. The hotel and room were really adorable. We loved the little balcony in our room that overlooked the treetops. The staff is friendly, and it’s very clean. The bathroom is really uncomfortable in size. There is not really much space to put your toiletries and good luck shaving in the shower. The park outside and people hanging around seems a little sketchy. We have stayed in Paris before, and I wouldn’t recommend this specific area.

When walking, no matter the direction you end up somewhere beautiful and full of life. Nothing about the location is chaotic and so many surrounding options for sight seeing, restaurants, and shopping. Would stay again when I get the chance to come back and explore Paris! Rooms are trendy but feel Parisian. Staff so kind and friendly and personable. Decor was amazing and the environment was very comfortable. :)

Very limited options for sitting down and enjoying a drink inside the hotel lobby. There is room service only, which didn’t appeal to us as we don’t like eating in our room. It was more encouraged to go elsewhere to enjoy a glass of champagne or have some small eats.
• Maximilian (10/5): Solly Hotel is exceptional in every way and will deliver a delightful stay when in Paris - Beautifully designed and provided a warm yet trendy aesthetic. The staff was immensely helpful and polite. The location was ideal for walking multiple neighborhoods and only a 20 minute walk to the Siene. It ran rather hot. Even with the AC on it remained hot through out the night. It could be that we (Americans) are used to AC more.

Staff on hand at all times, all consistently helpful and friendly. Lift broke whilst we were there, walking up 6 flights with cases not good!

• MARIA ROSARIA (5/5): Positiva la posizione - L'hotel ha un'ottima posizione in una zona centrale ma protetta dal turismo d'assalto, con molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze. La struttura era molto pulita. La nostra esperienza è iniziata in modo negativo poiché nella nostra camera abbiamo avuto una perdita d'acqua dall'impianto di climatizzazione e avevamo l'acqua anche nel minuscolo armadio di cui era dotata. Ci hanno prontamente fatto cambiare camera senza pensare n'è ad un upgrade n'è ad uno sconto per il disagio. La colazione è deludente. In camera il troppo caldo non ci ha permesso di riposare bene, insieme alla quasi nulla insonorizzazione, si sentivano tossire le persone in altre camere, oltre ad avere un continuo tramestio sulla testa. Le scale in legno non avevano la moquette per cui, avendo un solo e lentissimo ascensore, si sentiva di continuo il rimbombo di passi sui gradini e diversi scricchiolii. Non ci torneremo

• Laura (7/5): Clean room in the marais, pretty lobby, first floor room was noisy - Very clean. Nice location in the Marais. We found it walkable to major location. The room was very noisy (could hear the elevator most of the night) and also the shower stayed lukewarm. We had trouble getting the water hot.
• Elizabeth (8/5): Nice stay in the Marais of Paris - Friendly, helpful staff. Well situated. Breakfast offerings were varied and access to hot/cold beverages always available. Like most European hotels, space is tight!

• Fay (9/5): Fabulous trip to Paris in a stunning hotel. Will definitely visit again. - We upgraded to a suite as our room was a little small. The suite was a perfect size and the view was fantastic. Staff were really helpful and the hotel was spotless. The breakfast felt a bit strange - as if we were in someone's kitchen. I wasn't overly keen on the food either - with all the lovely patisseries around we opted for these for breakfast.
