- Ruxandra (1/5): - Hotelul ne-a trimis un mesaj prin care ne-a cerut sa anulam rezervarea fara un motiv clar, fix in momentul in care ajunsesem de hotel pentru a ne caza. Angajatul din receptia hotelului pe un ton nepasator si extrem de arogant ne-a spus ca nu mai au camere libere, ca au vandut mai multe camere decat aveau disponibile, ca nu il intereseaza situatia noastra si ca e treaba Booking ca vinde camere desi hotelul nu are disponibilitate. Am incercat sa sunam la grupul NH pentru a gasi o solutie, un loc de cazare in alt hotel din grup, fiind in situatia in care la momentul respectiv Amsterdam era sufocat de turisti, unitatile de cazare nu mai aveau disponibilitate, iar preturile treceau lejer de 600 de euro pentru 1 noapte. Vizitam Olanda si Amsterdam in fiecare an fara exceptie. Calatorim mult si obisnuim sa ne cazam la hotelurile din grupul NH in locatiile pe care le vizitam. Insa, dupa aceasta intamplare NH nu mai exista pentru mine si familia mea!

Location nice but very noisy at night. - The hotel is lovely... and well placed for the city ( please see below though) breakfast excellent. staff lovely and very helpful... We specifically asked before arriving and were led to believe that the beds would all be proper beds... it was very unfortunate that one was a fold out bed which led one of the party to find sleeping even more difficult. We did ask the reception if there was another available and were told only ones with the fold out bed in a three person room. Perhaps this could be made much clearer when booking. The staff were absolutely fantastic and did try to find another room for us though none were available. As we were at the front facing Rembrandt square which though a lovely square.. was a nightmare at night. The noise is VERY bad and we were all very tired by our last day ( we stayed 4 nights) as we only slept about 4 hrs each night due to the excessive noise. If it could be made much clearer that Rembrandt square is a major party square after dark, it would help guests with their choices. Having said that the hotel is lovely and staff excellent.

- Bruno (3/5): Si je retourne à Amsterdam, je choisirai un autre hôtel - La connexion très facile avec la gare centrale d’Amsterdam par tramway. Personnel assez sympathique. Très cher. À l’ancienne, non encore rénové. Sur une place très bruyante. Mauvaise insonorisation. Des taches jaunâtre sur l’un des lits à l’arrivée. Heureusement le personnel nous a apporté une couette propre et on nous a fait une petite réduction.

- Ilaria (10/5): OLTRE LE MIE ASPETTATIVE - La stanza che ci hanno dato era molto grande, con un angolo divano e poltrona e due grandi finestre che davano sul retro, quindi molto silenziosa; bagno grande con vasca, doccia e doppio lavello; i due letti alla francese molto comodi con doppio cuscino; la colazione è completa, dolce e salato, in abbondante varietà, tutto buono ed anche la sala è veramente carina, pulizia della camera ottima. La posizione dell'hotel è perfetta, centrale con tram 4 e 14 che ti portano in due fermate a piazza Dam o alla stazione ( raggiungibili comunque anche a piedi con una passeggiata di 15 minuti); in un minuto a piedi si arriva al mercato dei fiori, e girovagando per le stradine si arriva in breve ovunque; la piazza è animata, ma il giusto, ci sono ristoranti di tutti i generi, locali da ballo, caffetterie, souvenirs. Conosco la catena NH e so che sono hotel sempre di un certo livelllo qualitativo, quindi una garanzia. Consigliatissimo !!!

- Christoph (8/5): - zentrale Lage Wir hatten ein Standardzimmer gebucht. D Das erste Zimmer Nr 121 war schlichtweg eine Katastrophe und keinesfalls den hohen Preis wert. Es war nur über mehrere steile Treppen erreichbar. Man fühlte sich wie im Keller. Die Sicht aus dem Fenster war zur Hälfte durch einen Aufbau auf einem Vordach versperrt. Dies sollte so nicht als Standard bezeichnet werden dürfen.

- Katherine (8/5): All in all we had an enjoyable stay! - Wonderful location, helpful maître d staff, front desk responded to requests in a timely fashion. Very clean. Good lighting in the room. We had requested 2 twin beds at the time of booking and I also emailed the property 2 days before arrival. The room did not have twin beds but one double (?queen?) when we arrived. They said we could be switched to a different room the following day. I’m not sure how else I could have set that up for success? They did call and offer an alternate the next morning, but it would’ve meant we would have to pack up our things and then our baggage would’ve been stored for the day. We also were afraid we might end up with a smaller room because they said there was no guarantee. I will say the housekeeping department was very helpful bringing my sister and I 2 twin duvets. The room was very hot. The Air conditioner did not seem to work well. We asked for assistance but we were told that the air gets shut off for 3 hrs in the late morning and it should cool off shortly. I remained quite warm but we like a very cool room for overnight sleeping, probably cooler than most.

They should have the names of doctors and dentist in case there is an emergency, instead they offered to google it???

- Wales (8/5): Great location - The staff were attentive and friendly. Earplugs were supplied but being on the 5th floor, street noise was not so bad. Reception team were happy to find a kettle for the room as this was not in the room on arrival. Room 501 had a super vista of Rembrandt Square and was a good location for exploring the city. Transfer from the main train station to the hotel was easy, using the tram. The hotel would benefit from a refurbishment to reflect a more contemporary feel. Breakfast was fine but again, a refresh would be helpful.

- Vanessa (6/5): Perfekter Standort für seinen Amsterdam Trip. Fürs Schlafen, Earplugs oder Noise Cancelling Kopfhörerbenutzen. Preis Lei - Standort ist perfekt. Zimmer sind klein aber fein. Aufgrund der Bars und Clubs ist es sehr laut. Zum Teil kann man fast nicht schlafen
- avik_2025 (10/5): Excellent service throughout stay and brilliant location - Hotel is walking distance to all major Amsterdam attractions and the canal - which was extremely useful as a family of three. Reception were very friendly and helpful even during busy times. Special mention goes to Lauren at the bar for exceptional service and Yeray at reception who always helped with a smile. Would return here without a doubt.

- brierley (8/5): - Hotel was in an excellent location. Hotel inside had some period features like staircase. Although on a very busy square at night the nosie was limited.
- Hüseyin (9/5): - The location is really good, the rooms are rather big and very clean, service is also good. The are a lot of restaurants and cafes around, floating flower market is just 3min walk, the is a good Chinese massage salon very close. We enjoyed our stay here The price is rather high
- Emma (5/5): Clean rooms but noisy and a typical Amsterdam ‘smell’ late a night - Good central location. Clean room, comfy bed. I know it’s located in central Amsterdam but the noise late a night is bad! The room I was in was (I presume) located above a nightclub on the square which despite the earplugs provided you could hear the thudding music until about 2:30am. The room also smelt of cigarette smoke when I entered and then weed throughout the night - even with the windows firmly shut. Quite disappointing given the room cost nearly £400 for the 1 night.

- Antonio (8/5): - Personal muy atento. Las habitaciones son mejores y más modernas de lo que puede dar a parecer el lobby, ascensores y pasillos. La ubicación es muy buena, y sería perfecta (en el centro de Amsterdam, en medio de la mayoría de zonas a visitar) si no fuera porque es una zona de fiesta y puede afectar a la estancia, aunque a nosotros, siendo sábado, apenas lo hizo. El precio es alto en relación a otros hoteles similares de la misma calidad o mejor en otros sitios, pero está donde está y hay que pagarlo.

- Italo (7/5): più che discreto.... migliorabile - posizione, reception, per il resto personale freddo non saluta...la piazza Rembrandt è molto bella dall'hotel si raggiungono facilmente a piedi molte zone interessanti ottimo il letto comodo e grande bene la colazione anche se manca il bacon stanza piccola scale da non caderci ripidissime pulizia non adeguata certo si tratta di un edificio antico .... ma si può fare di più ...non mi piace il personale che non saluta.... la piazza è Comunque molto rumorosa pulizie in piazza insufficienti ...le bici sono prepotenti e davvero pericolose . Senza nessuna comunicazione!!!! ci è stata addebitata una tassa di soggiorno di oltre 50 euro a testa.... carenza hotel e BOOKING!!! la tassa mi risulta essere stata imposta quasi 2 anni or sono INFORMARE!!!
