Ankur (8/5): - Did early check with additional fees which was ok. Private Room was of decent size, clean but no charger switch near bed, there was just 1 in bedroom and another in bathroom. Breakfast NOT worth, just 2 types of bread, rolls, basic salad, 2 juices, and just uncut apple in the name of fruits. No self service kitchen. Few public transport options were available between 300-500 meters. Overall property was decent but other facilities were just okayish.

Evelyn (2/5): - I would not recommend this hotel. The room was dirty upon arrival and was never cleaned during our entire stay — no cleaning services were provided at all. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and despite asking twice at reception for proper towels, we were only given small face towels. The staff claimed they don’t have body towels, which is unacceptable for any hotel. Overall, poor cleanliness, no basic amenities, no room cleaning, and unhelpful service — a terrible experience in Milan.
RoyDixie (2/5): Milan Stay - This hotel is in really bad shape. The whole place needs renovating as everything in the place is worn out and tired. Although the rooms were kept clean and the bed and towels changed regularly on our 10 day stay, the furniture, the carpets etc in the entire place has had it.Rooms are shabby and drab. A honest comment in saying this is not a nice place to stay. The breakfast food was rubbish, so much so, we used the cafe across the road for coffee and croissants instead of the hotel. The location is not great either as you need two metro's to get into the city centre. It's not the worst place we've stayed, but comes very close. Mostly the staff are very nice, polite and helpful. A mistake in booking this not to be repeated.
397immym (4/5): Meh - The hotel is close to the metro so easy to get into the city. However the quality of the room was shocking. The plug sockets and electricity in our first room did not work. Once moved rooms our room key stopped working a total of seven times on our three day stay. The elevator was broken as well.

Small rooms but we did have 4 people. We all slept well. Good breakfast and plentiful. Happily stay again.

The room was not clean, floor and study table were dirty, i did nt dare to sleep umder the sheets so spend the night on top of the sheet. When i provided feedback to the reception, the reaction was: oh ok, Thanks. Not really the hospitality and reaction one may expect from an ALL chain.
pedrolI1290JL (8/5): Calm location, next to Underground, Good restaurants around - This hotel is far from the city center but has a underground station nearby (M5), so you can reach easily every part of Milan; nice and cheap restaurants around, good breakfast and nice people taking care of you. If you like to run or jogging, there is a gigantic (640 hectares) park not far (1,5km), called the Parco Nord Milano - I tried and it's very good for medium to long distances. The minus - the rooms, though comfortable as usual with Novotel, could use some refurbishment since they look outdated. I'd say this hotel, together with the nearby Ibis, will enter renovation soon. The shared areas, however, look nice.

Near M4 Metro line and close to a huge Shopping Mall that has great stores, restaurants, bars, Movie Theatre, and more. Definitely recommend! Staff was very nice and welcoming.

QiangB (2/5): Not a Novotel level - This one may be the worst Novotel I've ever been. The welcome desk is quite OK but the building is old. The room is old with some wall peeling off. The bar was surprisingly bad. The waitor had always a sad face and extremely impatient. The waitress was so busy: when we ordered a red wine, she asked us if it was ok to serve in paper cups... What? Not offensive to other people in this hotel. But these bad experences really impacted our mood during our journey.

Bankim (2/5): - The Hotel was very hot and they would not turn on the Air Condition. When I asked several times, they said they only run the Air Condition on between 7-10, not sure if it was AM or PM. They moved us to a different room for better airflow but it was very hot and we couldn’t sleep.
Rachel (6/5): - We chose the hotel for the facilities- especially the Outdoor swimming pool and lounges. It would have been handy to know previously that ‘seasonal swimming pool’ meant that it wouldn’t be open until 1st June and similarly with the sun lounges. On checking in, we had booked a room accommodating 2 beds ( superior king and sofa bed) when checking for the 2 beds, it was changed to just a standard twin and one staff member inferred that it could have been rectified if only we had booked direct even though the space and cost was different- unhelpful to say the least! The best one was when we had unpacked all our belongings to discover that the staff member checking us in, had made an error and we had to repack everything and relocate to a room further up the corridor, with a car park view, 10 minutes later. However, as an apology, we were given a drink voucher. We didn’t use the restaurant, as it was very limited in accommodating dietary requirements and although teas and coffees were provided in the room, we had to buy our own dairy and dairy free milk or told to buy coffees from the bar! Each day we had to go to reception to ensure our keys would allow us back in the room, as they would never work. The room was adequate and cleaned well. Staff were helpful at phoning taxis for us and the location was close to metro, tram and bus stops to get into the centre. It is a hotel that is useful as a base, rather than a holiday style hotel as insinuated in the photos.

Daniel (10/5): - Having read a lot of negative reviews and having visited the Novotel in Paris in January (which was truly fantastic) I was nervous about my stay so wanted to leave this honest review as yes the rooms are quite small and could do with an update, and the outside area desperately needed the grass cutting but the staff, breakfast and accessibility to the metro were all fantastic. The only real point I’d make is that we travelled with our two young children and there is nothing to do around the hotel aside from a gelato shop (Milky Way - which you must try) so if like our kids you end up back at the hotel quite early maybe consider somewhere a bit more built up.

Bed was really comfortable, pillow not so much. No balcony. A couple of bottles of free water. The pool pictures look a 7/10 but in reality that area is more like a 3. Sat there for about 5 mins. Great pizza over the road

When we arrived in last week of may we were told the pool was seasonable and would not be open until June. We have some very disappointed kids and ruined the break away. We were mis-sold.

The air conditioning needs to be upgraded as it didn’t really provide effective cooling. Unfortunately the pool doesn’t open until June, so that wasn’t an option to have a cooling swim. Kristina (10/5): - The location was excelent, close to 3 metro stations. The rooms were cleaned well. We didn't take breakfast but there are many cafes and supermarkets around. In general it was comfortable stay

Elizabeth (4/5): - The housekeeping was poor, the bedding was not clean nor was the toilet. The room was not cleaned or beds made for 3 days. Aircon ineffective at best. Coffee stains on wall under window, carpets + curtains gruppy. Two tea bags, two coffees, no milk..... does not merit 4 stars
Sushil (2/5): WORST NIGHTMARE HOTEL - It was the worst ever Novotel hotel i have ever stayed in Either Europe/USA/India/Asia Pacific. The receptionist said that the AC was not working because the General Manager closed it & went home. The breakfast was so horrible that they also could not serve on omlette.The rooms were smelly. Overall people should avoid at all cost . They charged Euros 239 per night which is criminal for such pathetic services
Yair (8/5): - it was ok- good value for money but the hotel is not so clean and one lift was out of order and was not repaird and probaly will not and the hotel works with one elevator. if you want a cheap hotel novotel is good enough we were 4 people in the room and it was ok for 5 days
Rob (8/5): staff need a lesson in customer service - Hotel nice, rooms ok. Pool is FREEZING. Middle of august and it was ICE COLD! Not pleasant!! Reception staff very helpful but evening bar man was rude and also didn’t know how to make cocktails, plus one elevator was out so we were told to use service elevator, only for a housekeeping woman to get in and SHOUT at us! Very rude. We made a formal complaint about her. Metro is close and takes 30 mins to get to Duomo (main square).

Lisa Jayne (6/5): - This was good value when booked and I suppose for a base it was acceptable but it is cheap and basic. Air con did not cool the room and we were there in 38 degree heat. The surrounding area leaves a lot to be desired and barely anything open for food snack & drinks. Nothing of an evening to do locally. Everything in the local area was shut down and looked derelict with graffiti everywhere (this is common in Italy) Rooms extremely basic and gym poor. Swimming pool small and very basic. The hotel looked more like a cheap Motel. I would only rate at 2.5 stars to be honest. The staff were friendly in the main and the breakfast was excellent value for money and the the quality was good. We did not eat of an evening in the hotel so can not comment. To get into the centre of Milan cost approx 15 to 20 euros each way depending on the taxi. We noticed when the hotel called for a taxi the driver obviously charged from their initial destination as each taxi had different values on the clock when they arrived. Only worth staying here if you like basic accommodation. The property could do with a lot of TLC.
Aaima (6/5): - It was a good hotel however, the are not many restaurants around the hotel so you’ll have to go to the duomo. Also, the pool open at 10 and closes really early at 7pm which is a shame. There were ants in our room every day. Also, they had an ironing room but the iron was not working and they didn’t show us how to use it. The breakfast is really good and delicious. The beds were comfy. The shower was annoying because the water kept dripping out of it.
hussam (6/5): - The reception staff are amazing The pool is clean and good enough The food is too poor, no vegetables (Only tomatoes :D ), The juice is soo sweet (a lot of sugar) The coffee Machine should be thrown into the trash right now, totally broken, and when it works it produces a really bad coffee (in Italy :( ) overall I've stayed in multiple Novotel hotels in Europe, and they were really better than this branch still like Novotel, and I recommend it thanks
Sue (10/5): Fantastic comfortable and clean hotel - Lovely comfortable hotel. Great room and bed. Nice pool and garden. Enjoyed our time. Not too far from centre of Milan.

Myrvete (6/5): Okeish - The bed was very comfortable, the toiled had yellow stains which looked very dirty/old. One night we couldn’t sleep from the noise next door. We had to go to reception at 1 am to notify the receptionist as we couldn’t sleep.
KAROL (6/5): - We stayed 4 nights (4 persons) and they gave us only 2 towels that they didn’t change. Toilet paper run off and didn’t put more (We had to request it). Cleanness not the best. Located far from Central Milan, but a Metro station is close to the hotel, making easy to move across the city.

Faisal (6/5): - Hotel's location is great and within few minutes of walk to subway. Clean hotel with nice rooms. Staff on the other hand was not aware of any hotel policies and appeared that they were pulling the policies on the fly. We got three different piece of information on the hotel child/adult policy which was confusing and not inline with Expedia which is where the booking was made. At checkin we were told that 18 and under are free for breakfast with paying adults. In the restaurant we were told 12 needs to pay and on the front desk once again when enquired the age limit was 16 needs to pay. There was no consensus on the information which was annoying.
Ann (10/5): - We enjoy the area and the easy access to Duomo and other tourist attractions. Close to trains, and other public transportation. I highly recommended it.

Islam (2/5): out of expectations - The hotel is old, staff attitude was not helpful, too tight room space despite supposed to be a family room. breakfast have no good varieties, staff of restaurant were not too helpful , compared to other Novotel hotels in Europe i was disappointed.
Massimo (4/5): Far from being a 4 star hotel - It is not a 4 star hotel in the facts. Our room was old and a bit dirty. There was the queue for the breakfast. good quality, slow service. For dinner, very good quality. For the room, old and even without ho t water in the evening.

Daniel (6/5): Mediocre - Some of the worst service I ever experienced in the Bistro restaurant. The hotel seems quite dated and in desperate need of refurbishment. For instance, the shower head in the bathroom was completely rusted over... not just hard water buildup, but proper rust. Everything else in the room was in similar condition as the shower head... In other words, badly in need of replacement
Verified traveler (4/5): Not the best Novotel - Turned up and there was a queue which is fine so got asked to take a seat , there was no organisation as new guests and current guests were coming to the desk and getting served before me even though I had been sat there for 20 mins waiting. The key then didn’t work on my room and got told it was my fault as my mobile interferes with the key, I told the guy it was the door not me as the new key he gave me I had in my hand and didn’t have my mobile near me and it still didn’t open the door. The next morning the key stopped working again and the lady sent a Technician up who also couldn’t get into the door even with the master key , we finally got in I packed up and moved rooms. There seemed to be no structure and would struggle at the desk of there was more than one person on the queue. The hotel was rather run down , mould in the bathroom, holes in the curtain and everything just looked tired.
