Uns gefällt die Junior Suite in den höheren Etagen mit Blick auf die Stadt am besten (im "älteren Teil"). Super Service, sehr hilfsbereit und professionell. Leckeres Frühstücksbuffet in der Club Lounge, die sich auch tagsüber und abends immer für eine ruhige Pause eignet, das Restaurant Salt and Pepper war sehr gut. Ein Hotel, wo wir immer wieder gerne zurückkommen.

Have been staying 2 to 3 times a year for over 10 years. Some of the staff have been there more that 20+ years which lends to the homely feel of the hotel for a regular.
- Jose (7/5): 5 star in price only - Location. The gym was nice, although hard do get to. Yesterday I arrived at 23.30. Tried to go to the bar, but was told the kitchen was closed. The waiter said “let me check if it’s possible”, then, after looking at me, the manager said the kitchen was closed. Which was strange, since there was food being served. I was coming from the Emirates stadium and had my teams shirt and scarf. I think that’s why I was turned down. I find it objectionable. It’s a 5 star hotel, I’m a guest and was not in a crowd of football hooligans. Was very disappointed. Paying 800 pounds for a room and being barred like in some Pub. Not a way for a 5 star hotel to behave. Also, there’s no pressure in the hot shower. Couldn’t believe it.

From arrival to departure - everything was seamless, personalized, warm and efficient. The property is impeccable and location so very central. Having Club Lounge access is a game changer and one that I highly recommend. Having a more intimate "Hotel within a Hotel" service/facilities made for an exceptional stay.

Everyone from the front desk ,concierge ,valet,restaurant and bar team were amazing. Top notch ! Afternoon tea was one of the best we’ve had and we’ve had many all over the world and in London but our first here. Breakfast had everything you would want and more we also did the cocktail tasting as well as the champagne tasting. Both were very lovely more than we had expected. The location was perfect. We could walk to a lot of the dinners that we had planned the theater, shopping, etc. We had not been to London for about 15 years and after our stay at the Langham, we decided we need to return again very soon !

As with the hotel in New York, I do not know how they remember your name and make you feel like you mattered. We had a connecting room for a family of four and worked out perfectly. The area was close to great shopping and places to eat. I would without hesitation recommend this hotel to others.

We were surprised and delighted to be upgraded and cannot thank enough Mani and her guest services team for this . A lovely surprise in the room for my husband was a bottle of tattinger champagne, delicious box of chocolates, fruit and delicious cake . Cannot thank the team enough . The room itself was lovely ,very comfortable , beautifully designed , well equipped with amenities . The club room is the best in UK if not then world . The drinks menu is fantastic and the food absolutely delicious. The service from the team is brilliant and could not be better . Unfortunately I had been given antibiotics (no alcohol) just before ny stay and the team went out of their way to find suitable non alcohol drinks for me . Exceptional and cannot thank them enough. Alex , Ben, Merci and their team/colleagues were brilliant and definitely are the reason we return. As part of a resort in the city package we took advantage of a history tour of the hotel . Tem was excellent and we learnt a lot about why this is the Grandest of hotels in London. We saw parts of hotel not seen before such as the Ballrooom and the biggest suite we have ever seen in any London hotel . The archive history is fantastic and highly recommend a tour . We used the gym briefly which is well equipped and perfect for our stay. You can also hire a PT if required and noticed one of the guests were using hm . Unfortunately we didn’t have time to go to the pool and use the facilities of the spa etc this time . But having been in the past rate them the best . We would love to move into this hotel but sadly can’t . However we will return and recommend to all. Thank you again for your exceptional service - you are the best

- thenugents (10/5): Excellent Afternoon Tea - Afternoon Tea was purchased for myself and family by a friend who lives in USA. It was a birthday gift and what a great choice she made! We have had afternoon tea at a few 5* hotels in London but never here so was really looking forward to this and i must say it didn't disappoint! Very warm welcome as soon as we arrived which is always a good start. We were slightly early for our booking but it wasn't a problem, our coats were taken and we were shown to our table. We were explained the menu and the choices and our order was taken shortly after for drinks, great selection of tea's and nice to see we were not charged extra for some of the flavours like we were in another hotel. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious, great quality products, extra sandwiches were offered and we opted for the Coronation Chicken although it was a hard choice between that or the beef. The scones were delicious as were all the other cakes. The service was excellent, we were not rushed at all the only slight point i could make is that the drinks were a little slow in coming out when we needed refills. Thank you ! Would love to return one day.

- Leeds_Traveller2019 (4/5): Mixed Emotions at The Langham, London - booked a stay at The Langham to celebrate my birthday, expecting the quintessential five-star excellence this historic institution is known for. Unfortunately, the experience left me more frustrated than pampered, and it certainly didn't live up to the standards of other luxury hotels I’ve frequented in London and abroad. The Culinary Highs and Lows The dining experience was a tale of two extremes. The Highlight: The Langham Burger was truly fantastic—cooked to perfection and arguably the best part of the stay. The Disappointment: Breakfast was a major letdown. While the hash browns and sausages were decent, the bacon was almost inedible—tough, overcooked, and difficult to eat. For a hotel of this caliber, you expect every element of the most important meal of the day to be executed flawlessly. Restless Nights & Service Failures The biggest issue was the lack of sleep. At 3:00 AM on both Wednesday and Thursday, I was awoken by loud noises. In a premium five-star environment, peace and quiet are the bare minimum requirements, yet the disturbance persisted across two nights. The way the management handled the situation only added to the frustration: The Delay: After complaining about the noise, I was offered a different suite. However, the Duty Manager failed to respond for over 30 minutes. The Inconvenience: I eventually had to leave my room, travel down nine floors to reception, and complain in person just to get a resolution. When you are paying for luxury service, you shouldn’t have to hunt down staff in the middle of the night to have your concerns addressed. Final Verdict This was meant to be a special birthday treat, but it ended in disappointment. While the property is beautiful and the burger was a win, the poor breakfast quality, unacceptable noise levels, and sluggish management response times mean The Langham fell well short of its five-star reputation this time.

We enjoyed the 3 for 2 deal and stayed in an executive room which provided access to the club lounge. I'd expected the bedroom to be a little old fashioned but it was beautiful. Classically elegant and spacious. A real calming space. I adored the bone china cups, the flavoursome Jing tea and the plush carpet in the room. Housekeeping didn't miss a beat. A soft close toilet seat is the only improvement I could have made! Thank you for the beautiful surprises for our special weekend away, it meant so much to us both!🥰 Club lounge access is worth the extra - it felt as though I barely ever stopped eating and drinking!! Benny was always there with a top up of champagne and the lovely Italian man who brought us breakfast in the morning kept us well fed. I managed French toast after Turkish eggs...what a start to the day!! Palm court is a wonderful experience for breakfast also should you be staying more than one night, a highlight being having my loose leaf tea poured through the silver tea strainer into the signature Langham China teacup. For a tea enthusiast this was a little moment of heaven. Not to forget the caviar and blinis! We cannot wait to return. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay utterly wonderful ❤️

We are especially grateful to Assistant Manager Allister (“Alex”) and his porter team. Alex personally escorted us to our room and ensured every detail was perfectly arranged from the start. His warmth and ease made us feel at home immediately, and his continued attentiveness—including ensuring our room was immaculate after our days touring London—did not go unnoticed. The housekeeping team's turn down service truly left us in awe and was a highlight of our stay. Additionally, the porter team were absolute gentlemen, handling our luggage with such meticulous care. We would also like to recognize Poppy and the service team for their help with my request for local flowers, as well as your floral team for creating an arrangement that truly delighted my wife. The care and attention within the Langham Club elevated our experience even further. Every interaction felt thoughtful and precise. We would particularly like to highlight a member of the Club/dining team whose name we unfortunately missed, but whose kindness left a lasting impression. She is Romanian, wears a hair covering, and her name begins with an “O” (perhaps Olena or Olga). She personally escorted us to the Club and introduced us to the team, making us feel like VIPs the moment we stepped inside. - Stay791616 (8/5): Phenomenal Location and World-Class Service - We’ve stayed here three times, and while we debated trying the Rosewood this time, we ultimately returned to The Langham for its unbeatable location. The Location If you’re in London for the shops, this is the place. It’s right on Regent Street and about 150 meters from Oxford Circus. We were able to walk to Liberty, Selfridges, Kith, and Aimé Leon Dore in minutes. The Staff (5/5) The service here is world-class. The staff were incredibly accommodating with our daughter and our dietary needs. Concierge: They have real integrity. They suggested we take the tube to a concert rather than pushing the hotel’s own (more expensive) transport. The Club: A huge thank you to the team at The Club. Even after we checked out, they invited us and our friends to enjoy the afternoon snack buffet on the house. That level of hospitality is hard to find. Food & Facilities Breakfast: We preferred The Club on the 3rd floor over the 4th-floor option. It felt much more intimate and friendly. The Spa & Rooms: Both were good, but if I’m being honest, they felt more like a 4/5 than a perfect 5. They are starting to feel a little standard compared to the rest of the experience. Final Word Despite the rooms being a 4/5, the staff and the phenomenal location make it a winner for my family. We will definitely be back.

The staff were amazing. I loved how they continually called me by my name, opened doors for me A secure internet connection would have benefited me. I was unable to make some transactions, such as book a hire car from the hotel, as my bank did not allow transactions through an unsecure internet connection. I would have felt more secure from hackers etc while at the hotel, doing my banking online.

On arrival two "men" skateboarding doing flips at main entrance, which concierge thought was amusement, then another vaping at the entry. I get it, vaping, skateboarding but this is 5 star? Kids running through foyer screaming, again love kids? but what is the vibe you are creating here? Staff at reception dressed in immaculate outfits, but did not match the vibe. The room was beautiful but service inconsistency, staffers debating the price of drinks!! and $46 room service for one fried rice! outrageous and we googled hotels with a pool bar, especially for the experience, slight winds and its closed? won't be back.

It definitely feels like a Grand Hotel--it exudes quiet luxury and sophistication rather then having the big, flashy feel of a high end resort. We did not have th opportunity to make use I the leisure facilities this time, but we will next time - and there will be a next time when we are back in London.

Therefore lots of hotels state they are five star but under deliver in many areas. However my stay at the Langham was brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful, that’s what stood out for me. I think my room was upgraded, it was lovely. The little touches when they refresh the room also didn’t go unnoticed. I was given a room even though I was early and arrived in the morning, which was super helpful. Gym/spa was great. Cocktails and room service were delicious.

The staff is very accommodating and hospitable. The location is perfect and the hotel has great bars and restaurants plus a nice fitness centre. We had the afternoon tea which was over the top and maybe excessive. Having breakfast in the Palm Court is great but there is always a line up to get in. This was the only annoying part. We instead ate at the Wigmore which is the other hotel restaurant which is not but not as grandiose. I am definitely coming back to the Langham.

(Regent Wing Club Junior Suite) - I stayed at the Langham, London 22-28 December in a Club Junior Suite in the Regent Wing, and I’ll absolutely be returning. The arrival experience was a standout: When I arrived, reception escorted me to the Club Lounge for a calmer check-in. I was able to do an early check-in and have breakfast at the same time, and then a concierge personally escorted me up to my suite. It immediately set a very positive tone for me. A suite with club benefits was the sweet spot for me (especially if you’re solo): The Club Lounge on the 3rd floor basically became my home base: a calm, welcoming space to decompress, snack, and reset without it ever feeling awkward as a solo guest. The staff make you feel genuinely looked after every time you walk in. Housekeeping was exceptional and personal: The team was incredibly attentive to my preferences, and my housekeeper even introduced herself, which made the whole stay feel more human and special to me. There were small touches that mattered a lot to me, like welcome pastries and champagne, and the overall care in the room was consistently top-tier. Service was seamless and fast: In-room dining was impeccable… punctual, polished, and easy. The WhatsApp concierge contact was super useful: anytime I needed anything, it was handled quickly and calmly, which honestly removes a lot of friction from travel. It was just very convenient. The suite itself was luxurious: I loved the layout and feel of the Regent Wing Club Junior Suite. From what I understand, some of the other Club Junior Suites can be a bit smaller… but for me, the one I got in the Regent Wing was 100% the right choice. I put in a "special request" on my booking asking for a Regent Wing suite based on other reviews I had read. One thing about the suite (which wasn’t a dealbreaker for me): At times you could faintly hear/feel the Underground, and I noticed the lights flicker a little when it passed. It felt weird on day one, but then I got used to it quickly and barely noticed it afterwards, so I didn’t bother bringing this up to them until I checked out. I really loved the suite otherwise, and it actually made the hotel feel “alive” in a “city way” for me 😭 instead of complete and utter silence... but it’s worth mentioning in case someone is extremely sensitive to it. I do hope the flickering issue is handled though, as at one point I was wondering if the place was haunted (which I’d be into anyway 🤣 👻). Practical tips that might help: - My rate wasn’t prepaid (and was actually the better deal), but I emailed the hotel and they let me prepay the stay in advance via a secure link (incidentals still held at check-in). The flexible cancellation/refund terms stayed the same. Worth asking if you prefer to pay upfront for a rate that isn’t initially prepaid. - A room with Club benefits is absolutely worth it: I can’t overstate how nice it was to have a place you can “crash”, eat/drink what you need until 9pm, and feel comfortable. I even brought a guest once that wasn’t staying at the hotel and it was a great experience, very seamless. - The Regent Wing access can be a little confusing your first day (easy to get lost), but once you learn it, it’s fine. And you can contact the concierge whenever you need if you get lost round the halls. - Make use of the concierge service, they are there for anything you need - even before your trip (via e-mail) if you need help planning anything for when you arrive. The WhatsApp contact was best for me once I was at the hotel, but they are also always present at the Club Lounge if you need them. - There’s a handy exit for the Regent Wing on the spa level, useful if you don’t feel like walking back out through reception after repeating an outfit 😆 Overall: warm, attentive luxury with real substance behind it, not just in appearance. Good value, especially using the “With Our Compliments” booking offer (every 3rd night free).
