Macchina del caffè italiano nella sala reception La struttura in più punti si presenta sporca; la porta di ingresso della camera aveva tutte le viti del chiavistello che si stavano staccando; asciugamani spesso logori con fili che si staccavano; colazione con prodotti confezionati e per il prezzo a questo punto conviene fare colazione fuori

• Katrin (8/5): War ok aber Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist nicht gegeben - An sich hatte die Unterkunft Charme allerdings haben wir uns mehr erhofft, für den Preis und die angezeigten Bilder. Allerdings war das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank! Eine Küche ohne Inhalt, es war kein Besteck, keine Teller oder Ähnliches da. Ausschließlich 2 Tassen, eine Mikrowelle und eine Kaffeemaschine. Die Möbel sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen und im Bad gingen teilweise die Armaturen ab. Sehr schade aber war ok, nur halt dafür sehr überteuert.

• Odette (6/5): In NYC finding an acceptable place for a family is tricky so not ideal but acceptable - The room itself was relatively large and spacious, which was a positive aspect of the stay. There were several significant issues. The fold-out bed was clearly in poor condition — it was uneven and uncomfortable to the point that we had to place the mattress on the floor in order to sleep. The location is acceptable but not ideal, as it requires an 8–10 minute walk to the nearest subway station. The most serious problem, however, was the water pressure. It was extremely poor — the shower was reduced to a weak trickle, which made basic use very frustrating. Overall, while the room size was good, the maintenance issues significantly impacted the experience.

• Heidi (5/5): Zwei-Sterne-Luxus zum Vier-Sterne-Preis - Gute Lage, grosses Zimmer, freundliches Personal. Das Hotel hat die guten Zeiten hinter sich. Das Zimmer war eiskalt bei der Ankunft. Die Ausstattung des Raums im 8. Stock war alt und defekt, man stolperte öfters über hochgebogene Ränder der Bodendielen, am Nachttisch klebte ein Kaugummi. Von zwei Liften ist nur noch einer in Betrieb, der jedoch auch einen wenig vertrauenerweckenden Eindruck machte. Dafür war der Preis eindeutig viel zu hoch.

• Veronique (5/5): disappointing - Very friendly, helpful receptionists. This hotel needs to be completely remodeled. Everything in our room looked worn out, not taken care of. No personal touch to make it somehow cosy. The bathroom had a bad smell, just didn't seem clean.

• Emese (2/5): Extremely uncomfortable and disappointing experience - Location The toilet in the bathroom was extremely weak and not working properly. It required several flushes after each use. I found this extremely frustrating especially for a supposed four star hotel. It made my stay extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant. Additionally, I had to move my room as the first room didn’t have working lights and had sloping floors. The room that I was moved into was slightly better, although one of the beds did not have a mattress cover which grossed me out. Luckily the second bed did have a mattress cover so I was able to sleep on that one. There is a lot of water damage throughout the hotel. It is clearly overdue for a major renovation. I’m actually quite surprised that the property hasn’t been investigated.

• Yoel (10/5): Excelente zona y descanso - Ha sido una estación mucho mejor de lo que esperábamos. Las habitaciones son muy amplias, con espacio de sobra para las maletas. Nosotros éramos 2 y teníamos una habitación con dos camas de matrimonio. El baño bien también, aunque echamos en falta un telefonillo para ducharse, solo tenía alcachofa. Las camas muy cómodas, con doble almohada para mayor comodidad. Buena regulación de temperatura Perchas de sobra para la ropa y zona para sacar la ropa. En recepción igual, muy buena atención. Además sabían todos español por lo que genial. El metro está cerca, tienes varias líneas donde elegir. Para desayunar que nosotros no lo hicimos en el hotel, hay justo al lado (izquierda) un sitio de bagels estupendo con buen café además Quizás que limpiasen la habitación, pasar el aspirador todos los días…
• Pedro Jose (10/5): - Me sentí como en casa, quizás para nosotros lo más importante,la madrileña,el cubano, ( perdonar no me acuerdo de los nombres) como todo el personal ,nos hicieron sentir como nuestro hogar en NY. Cierto que el hotel es antiguo,pero el calor de su personal quita importancia a este hecho, limpio y bien situado ,estaciones de metro cercanas, en resumidas cuentas nos han hecho sentir cómodos y ante cualquier duda todo fue amabilidad . • JOSE JUAN (7/5): para un viaje de negocios , suficiente - Habitación muy amplia y confortable, mucho mas grande de lo que son las habitaciones de hotel en NY EL cuarto de aseo se veia viejo . El desayuno bastante normalito y muy basico, no se correpsonde con un 4 estrellas.
• Patrick (5/5): Rundown and Dinged Up - It was close to where we were working - But not as close as the Holiday Inn, which was cheaper and after staying at both places, about the same in terms of quality, staff and overall value. It felt very run-down and dinged up overall. The photos of the rooms on the website are misleading to the quality you'll be getting. The price to quality didn't line up for me and I was paying for 3 rooms. There are only 2 elevators and 1 of them was broken or just not running. The rooms had minor damage and disrepair all over. Everything from the shelves falling apart to the TV hanging on an angle because it's starting to rip out the wall. It's extra disappointing because it feels like if they just spent a little time and money to do a few repairs and upgrades it'd be a nice place to stay. The icing on the cake was the noticed taped on the front door showing that the property had a D rating from the city in terms of energy usage. Just another nod to how long it's been since they've made any real upgrades to the facilities.
