The kitchen area in the room was ideal for breakfast/lunch prep Only slight negative was the floors were a little dirty, nothing a mop wouldn't fix. We were in room 149 it was slightly noisy at night in one bedroom as it was right across the road from Icon park. It didn't bother on the whole as everyone was exhausted at night but if your a light sleeper I would request a room away from that side

Rooms were very big and very quiet. Rooms a little dated but clean. Beware of the little shop on-site as its incredibly expensive.

There was also easy access to the trolley which was great for exploring further a field. There hotel had everything that we needed including a small pool. We cannot think of anything although the bath was somewhat shallow and the shower had a curtain which I personally have an aversion too. The hotel however failed to make up the extra bed in our son’s room for our granddaughter although this was not a big issue.

• Craig (10/5): - The staff was incredibly friendly. The hotel is clean and has tons of space to spread out and relax. It's close to both a Wal-Mart and the Orange County Convention Center. And its a 10 min Uber to Universal Studios. The free shuttle service is just once in the morning and night, not super convenient. Also, and this was the biggest negative, the bed mattress are extremely hard. To the point where my shoulders and neck hurt every morning and I would wake up multiple times at night. I might not stay here again because of how hard the mattress are.

• 60mickm (6/5): Not an hotel, but a self catering apartment - First of all this is a quite well located establishment situated almost directly opposite International Drive’s Icon Park, look for the Ferris Wheel and Old Red’s Bar. The Sonesta Es Suite's staff are very friendly and helpful, and a big shout out goes to Vanessa at the reception who helped us navigate Orlando with her professional, fun and friendly manner. My wife Tracey and I (Mick) travelled from the UK for our Florida vacation. On arrival at The Sonesta Es we discovered that it was not a hotel suite (as we know of in the UK) but a self catering apartment. The apartment was a little tired with its furnishings but clean and large. Probably good for a family visit being that the theme parks (not the Kennedy Space Center) were quite close and the Sonesta Es offers a shuttle service to them. Please note that housekeeping services including towel change is ONLY EVERY 3 DAYS ! You can have your room serviced each day at a cost of 30 US dollars per clean. The apartments are built around the reception area where there is a small shop to buy essentials. There is a breakfast area for limited hot foods and pastries. But the Sonesta Es DOES NOT HAVE a bar or restaurant for a chill out drink and meal after a day’s excursions or ventures. Nice stay though

• kimjU9620LT (8/5): I would come back, in fact I've done so several times - I've stayed here four or five times for swim meets; it's very convenient to the Rosen Swim Center--quick and easy walk. I like getting the 2-bedroom suite so we have two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and separate bedrooms so my son can get a good night's sleep before the meet, away from my late-night tv viewing or lights-on reading or my snoring (so he says; I dispute that lol!). The staff is always very nice, the suites and premises are clean, the suites are very spacious and comfortable, the noise from International is not as bad as you might expect, and while there is not an overabundance of parking and the size of the spaces is a bit on the tight side, there is enough parking. I've stayed in other hotels in the area where you really struggle to find parking sometimes. The only real drawback (which I tend to forget about between visits and am reminded of each time) is that the air-conditioning does not distribute throughout the rooms very well at all. It's fine if the bedroom doors are kept open so the air can circulate, but if you want to close the bedroom doors at night as we do, the bedrooms get pretty hot while the living area gets cold. Not only is this annoying, it's wasteful, as we keep the air set as low as possible to help keep the bedrooms a little cooler; if the cool air circulated better we would not need to keep it so low and would waste less energy. I would stay here again. It's a little more expensive than a single hotel room in the area, but not as much as you might expect, and the extra space and the convenience of having a living room, a full kitchen with a real fridge, and two bathrooms makes it worth it.

• Paul (8/5): We have stayed before and will do so again. - The location of the hotel is brilliant and the suites are well appointed and provide excellent value for money. All of the staff that we encountered were friendly and accommodating. For a hotel at this price point we were happy with the pool, hot tub, onsite laundry and the small fitness center. It was rather disappointing to learn that the suites were only cleaned once every seven days unless we were prepared to pay an additional cost. This was not ideal with four kids! Although it didn't have a hugely negative impact on our overall experience, and we will stay at the Sonesta Suites again if we are in the area, it is certainly worth mentioning. Also, the free WiFi was not very good at all - connecting was very hit and miss. Again, there were additional daily rate options for enhanced WiFi. As I say, neither of these issues would prevent us from staying again (unless it was my intention to work from the property) but I would have expected more regular cleaning and reasonable WiFi as standard.......

El personal muy atento, nos ayudaron con la custodia de nuestro equipaje después de hacer el check out, ya que nuestro vuelo era en la tarde. Me hubiese gustado que él aseo de la habitación fuese mas seguido, ya que estuvimos 9 noches y nos hicieron aseo el sexto día.

• Raiza Sousa (7/5): Custo benefício bom, mas limpeza deixa a desejar - A localização é ótima, vários restaurantes próximos e que podem ser acessados sem necessariamente estar de carro. Além disso, o fato de que não é necessário pagar estacionamento é ótimo! Os acessórios da cozinha, apesar de não ser tão completa, tinha tudo o que precisávamos para fazer um café da manhã todos os dias no apartamento. Por último, o staff é muito gentil e fomos super bem tratados durante toda a estadia. A limpeza deixa muito a desejar. Quando entramos no apartamento ele não estava 100% limpo, o chão estava super empoeirado e tive que varrer toda a acomodação (com a vassoura que eles deixam a disposição) para que fosse minimamente possível ficar. Ficamos 7 dias na acomodação e nesses dias trocaram as toalhas e recolheram o lixo 2 vezes e em UM ÚNICO dia fizeram a limpeza do que consideraram ser limpeza geral (Full Service). Minhas expectativas da limpeza geral eram grandes, mas o quarto continuou bem empoeirado e com as superfícies (mesa, tampo da cozinha e etc) sujos.

We were also allowed to leave our car in car park until we had to leave at 2pm for airport and because of this I have given 5 stars..even though it was an inconvenience that the TV had no channel guide.

• Ghaith391 (10/5): An Excellent Stay in an Amazing Hotel - We have been visiting Orlando and staying in this hotel for many Years . The Receptionist Staff was Friendly and Cooperative,and always happy to help if you needed anything. We booked Two Suites “Two Bedroom Suite- King and Queen “ ,stayed for Two Weeks. Both Suits spacious and Very clean containing all the amenities.Beds are comfortable. The kitchen had all Needs. Towel and bin change every 3 days and full cleaning every 7 days. There are a Laundry,Starbucks,Pool,Gym and Car Rental office on site. Location of the hotel is Perfect and walkable distance to ICON Park,Restaurants and Shops . It was an Excellent stay,made all of us feel at home,Surely will come back to our favourite hotel. Great Thanks to Front Office Manager Vanessa and all her Colleagues in Sonesta ID. All in all a great stay would Highly Recommended.
• ralphe799 (10/5): The hotel was wonderful as was Vanessa the wonderful lady who check me in and looked after me - When i arrived to check in on Jan 29th as this wonderful person, Vanessa, wonderful lady checking me was going through the process when we had power outage, noting to do with hotel. I cant say enough about the professionalism shown by Vanessa in how she handled me, the other slew of people wondering what was happening. I truely enjoy my stay, hotel very clean and Vanessa, at the front desk, the owners should be so so grateful.

• Veronica (10/5): We love Sonesta! - We've stayed here multiple times when we come to Orlando and it's our favorite place to stay! The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious, and the hot tub is a must after walking miles in a day! My only complaint is I prefer a softer mattress and theirs are more firm but it doesn't keep me from staying here I just wish they were softer. Totally personal preference!
