- Ali (10/5): Beautiful hotel. - The location of the hotel and very neat. Some of the receptionists can be rude or they don’t know the manners how talk with the guests. When I checked in early morning I was given a room which I did not like the view of the room at all Mr Ayoub was kind enough to give me a better view room. Nice guy and very professional who knows how to make the guests happy. I left my shoes in the previous room which I remembered that I left my shoes called and I was told your shoes was not there. I was later transferred to the reception to deal the matter and I was told to wait but was not sure whether they find or not. I went to the reception and one of the receptionist was rude the way he spoke with me like I was his kid. By GO TO YOUR ROOM AND WAIT THERE. I felt it wasn’t nice but my nature is just to ignore. I did not like that manner. If I knew his name I would have mentioned as he need to be thought respect with the guests and elderly people.

The omelette chefs are always kind, and the breakfast staff overall is friendly and professional. Location We love the location. It’s close to the metro, restaurants, and shopping. Every driver in Istanbul knows the hotel, which makes getting around very easy. Rooftop 360 The rooftop view is absolutely spectacular. Drinks are not very strong for our taste, so we recommend beer. The rooftop restaurant looked nice, although we didn’t dine there. Just remember—it’s very windy, so bring a jacket. Room 1421 The room is a good size, and the Bosporus view is breathtaking. Waking up every morning and opening the window to that scene was the highlight of our stay. Reception The lobby is cozy and very clean. Reception staff is friendly and welcoming. While there are hotel employees outside, they rarely speak to or assist foreign guests. They mostly interact with locals. As tourists, we expected some guidance or help. No one asked if we needed directions or transportation—something basic for a five-star hotel. Major Complaint – Smoking Issue We stayed five nights in Room 1421 on a non-smoking floor, but someone nearby was smoking constantly. The smell was so strong it filled our room every night. Upon check-in, the bellboy clearly told me the minibar and snacks were included in the room — either free or complimentary. The next day, the staff member who restocked the fridge confirmed the same. To my shock, during checkout I was charged 6,750 TL (around $168 USD) for minibar and snack usage. This was never mentioned or clarified properly until the last moment. This kind of misleading information and hidden charges feels like a scam. Extremely unprofessional behavior for a hotel claiming to offer quality service. I do not recommend staying here,

It will need a major remodel plus rooms are too small in comparison to the rate. You could get a five star hotel for much better service management need to teach lower staff how to behave in front of customers and learn how to apologize when they are wrong on several occasions they never said they’re wrong or apologized. Despite the fact, they are very well aware of it. That is not hospitality protocol that is less than street behavior. Therefore they don’t deserve more than three star. Four star is an upgrade for them.

I encountered several issues, including unwelcoming staff, a non-smoking room that smelled of cigarettes, poor upgrade service, an empty shower gel dispenser, restrictive water policy, a non-functional swimming pool, and the loss of my prescription glasses during the hammam. The overall experience was far below expectations, and I feel these issues need to be addressed for a more satisfactory resolution. Thank you.

Always check the cost before taking taxi. Some drivers will overcharged you. Breakfast selection was great. Hotel rooms are nice and comfortable. Felt very safe here. Security is tight. And always got police roadblock. There is a mini mart next to the hotel. Cheaper here than anywhere else. Can stock up.
