• Ewa (2/5): - The room was very dark with no natural light, and the window faced directly into the wall of the neighboring building. The Wi-Fi was also very unstable, and the front desk staff were unable to assist. As a result, I missed an important work meeting. Breakfast very basic.

• Mike (8/5): - Property is in a great location with many restaurants and shops within steps of it. Hotel room itself was nice but felt older and dated decor wise. Pillows were very soft. Air conditioner was a bit loud and windows had a weird shutter it from of them preventing me to see outside. Room has a large shower-bathtub, toilet and bidet. Room has a good size refrigerator and safe. WiFi worked well without problem. There was a small breakfast available included with the room but was very small. Hotel had 24 hour front desk staff. No currency exchanging service onsite. Within steps of the tourist landmark El Ateneo Grand Splendid theater converted into a bookstore. Great value for the rate and location. Would stay again and recommend.

• Pamela (6/5): - I had booked a Superior Room with a queen bed. But what I was given was a room with 2 twin beds and the window was blocked off with a permanent screen, making this an "interior" room. There was no air conditioning as had been described. The room was too warm. Because I had tripped on the step just outside the hotel & bruised both knees, I was too distracted to realize that my room was not the type that I had actually reserved until the morning I had checked out.

• FedericoA1275 (2/5): Bed bugs - We stayed in room 601 and had to leave because of bed bugs. The carpet has stains. On top of that following day, they charged me for the cancellation of an extra night. Very noisy. Lack of parking. Ancient furniture. They won't offer you a second key. The lobby has worn sofas. Pricey for the crappy conditions they offer.

Rooms need upgrades ! - Location is convenient, very helpful & professional staff members , cleaning crew does an excellent job to keep the bedsheets, towels clean ! Very poor A/C system , very LOUD A/C & not keeping the room cool / old A/C with filthy filter ! Carpets on the floor are spotted & old ! I had to pay extra for an upgraded room with cleaner carpet & window over very noisy Main Street ! Refrigerator was not keeping anything cool !

• 651andresp (2/5): NO AC BE AWARE! - NO A/C!!! BE AWARE!!! This by far the worst hotel condition in Buenos Aires for the location. Owners doesn’t want to fix the AC (told by same employees) since November 2022!!!! Can’t be that cheap! Counter service rude and unprofessional. The only nice guys was the overnight guy with with hair. Marcos(front counter) rude dude! Do not stay there pay extra $20 and go somewhere else! Rooms is dirty and outdated. Walk AC box are from 1960 and don’t work properly. Carpet dirty and super super nasty.

• Cartagena2019 (8/5): Very good price for the location - I only spent one night as I could not get to the apartment in the middle of the night.Two single beds were comfortable, but the ancient AC was so noisy I had to turn it off. The breakfast was very good and the staff very accommodating. Have recommended it t friends mainly because of location and excellent price.

• 18rauls (8/5): Excellent location near Santa Fe Avenue. Good value. - We enjoyed our stay at Wilton Hotel because of the excellent location. Very good cost-benefit ratio. The room was comfortable enough, clean and well kept, and the staff was quite helpful and friendly. The hotel was fully booked, and the restaurant was a bit crowded sometimes, but the staff did their best to provide a quite enjoyable breakfast.

• Trevor (8/5): Lovely Hotel - Hotel was very good, breakfast had an excellent choice, staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent, everything was nearby. Only small gripe I have is with the cleaner, I left dirty towels to be changed, they just got folded up and put back to make it look like they had been changed. Tea and coffee facilities were there on the day I arrived, but not replenished any more the whole week I was there. As i said, only small, just a couple of things that I think should have been done
• Dee1984 (10/5): Exceptional service - This was our first stop in Argentina! We were very impressed with all the staff. As a gang of Canucks, we had been travelling for over 24 hours and were exhausted. We didn’t expect to get into our rooms immediately. Stella got us into side by side rooms. We dealt a lot with Stella. She was so helpful. The breakfast has a great variety. We locked ourselves out of our safe at one point and the housekeeping manager handled the situation with ease and such hospitality! We loved our stay here!

• cinematix (2/5): Amazing hospitality - We ordered a day trip for the don silvano ranch through Getyourguide and was asked to go to the hotell adress for pickup. When we arrived there we were greated by the hotel manager / receptionist that told us we had to leave the lobby since we were not guest and they would not give us access to wifi with no shade outside. Even though we were told by the tour operator to wait at the hotel address. They even threatened to call the police if we didn’t leave within 5 minutes. We were dissappointed by the lack of customer service and hospitality we would have expected. We are thank god staying in a much nicer hotell and area around Palermo. The are also seems a bit empty in the evening. Everything except McDonald’s across the street was closed in the morning. Wilton hotel seems to fits its name.

• Erhard (8/5): - I like the location covenient to public transportation the recoletta cemetery and lots of Cafe's and restaurants. But it is cuiet enough for a good night sleep however the furniture is bit tired. The breakfast buffet offers a good start for the day.

• Raul (2/5): A hotel that should be banned from this site - Worst dumpster ever!!! nothing like the pictures, Extremely dirty and outdated, cockroaches inside bathroom, bathroom flooded , carpet was so old that you could not even see color, just stains over stains, walls have not being painted since the sixties, A/C overheated and no controls (and this was the best room, as the first given was even worse!!!), the air was stuffy and funky, smelled like mildew and bad breath all over the place, clerk as rude as it comes, worse experience ever, I felt like in one of those joe's flies motels in the movies. I travel all around the word and book over 100 nights a year on this site, but this hotel should be banned from hotels.com and any other site. Actually should be shut down.

The lobby has clearly been redone and looks amazing, but our room was dated and the carpets are in need of changing. Otherwise the room did seem clean, and the location was great. Really close to lots of good food, and there was a pretty lively scene around the hotel with many shops. We did a lot of walking around the area. The front desk staff was friendly and helped us book tours, and the complimentary breakfast was good.

• mamagolf (8/5): In a city like Buenos Aiires you need a good location and a safe place. - Yes indeed it is a little "dated" and certainly a refurbishing will probably add and extra star from me, but you have to understand South America to appreciate a friendly-efficient staff like the one of the Wilton. Unpretentious, clean, well located and with a staff that is always ready to please you. Good breakfast to start your day too!! Estela, Jose and Martin very nice people.

• Luis Carlos (8/5): A good hotel on an outstanding area. - The Wilton Hotel is located on an outstanding area of Buenos Ayres. It has an amazing Team Staff and provides a good services. However, it seems the rooms of this hotel have not been renewed for 10 years. Air Condition Machines are old and noisy. Internet did not work on my last day during this stay.

• Juan (8/5): Walking distance to everything - the hotel is in a great location and close to everything you got subway, buses and taxis. Some of the room are small but the junior suit has a good size, breakfast is good but after 2 days is all the same. i enjoy staying there i will return next Year.
• JAK (4/5): bad experience - No heating system during few hours at night on winter time, (outside was -6°C ) they turn it off to reduce cost they told me, I ended with a flu. There were no extra blanket either in the room, and had to ask for them. Went to Argentina for 10 days and was sick thanks to them most of the time.
• Thom (10/5): Close to everywhere - Rented a room here after a bad experience in another place. This was way above what we expected. The rooms were small but had a refrigerator, desk, comfortable bed and great bathroom. We are planning on using this Hotel for our next trip to Buenos Aires!

• Luis Carlos (10/5): Excellent option in Recoleta Buenos Ayres - Excellent stay. The hotel staff is very friendly and the hotel is very well located. To be perfect the hotel needs some refreshments as the air conditioning machines and carpet replacement.

Aside from that, we were very happy with the hotel. Room (suite) was nice size and clean. Did not expect to have wifi in room but it worked there. Included breakfast was very nice with a good variety and a nice setting. While the location is on a busy street (Callao), we didn't hear any street noise in our room. The location is convenient to shops and restaurants, buses, a few blocks to the subway, and walking to key spots. Overall, we found the hotel to meet our needs, and be conveniently located in a safe area, and a good value for the money.Would definitely recommend.

• mxh (8/5): excellent location - stayed here at the end of our South American cruise. Hotel is a family-run hotels and is located in a upscale section of B.A. with lots of shopping, restaurants and located close to the subway. Staff were very friendly and front desk spoke English.

• Nergis (10/5): Location is perfect - The hotel is located in on one of the main streets of Buenos Aires close to the Subte ( subway) .The hotel staff speaks English. Nobody understands English in Buenos Aires therefore it was vey important. The staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast was open buffet and plentiful. The only downside was that the air condition in the room was very old and making a lot of noise. They help you to get a private car with a driver but the driver takes you to the airport within downtown not to pay the toll for the highway which takes a long time to reach the airport .
• Martin (6/5): Good Location - The location of the hotel is excellent, Buenos Aires is a "walking friendly" city, you can walk to just about most of the places by walking. Many restaurants nearby, subway stations were just few blocks away. Hotel staff speak English and very helpful. Maybe we booked the hotel through Expedia (a third party), we were assigned to the old building (instead of the new). Thus, everything was very basic. My local friend who suggested this hotel told me that the new tower were very nice. We didn't stay in the room much, so it was OK.

• michael (8/5): Pleasant Surprise - We were delighted with our stay at this hotel. It was conveniently located in the Ricoleta area easy walking distance to famous cemetery and church and only a five dollar cab ride to anywhere in the city. The room was nice and the bathroom was a plus with good hot water and a terrific shower. Breakfast was a quality offering of pastries, fruits, cereals and an array of lunch meats, cheeses and bread. The staff was very helpful especially the English speaking members who made our stay quite enjoyable.
• Bharat (4/5): Good - I find the girl at the front desk does not have any people skills, there were a charge for one pesos and I said that I didn't have one pesos can you waive it, she insist that I find the one pesos, which I did. she would do nothing out of the box not even offer a glass of water from the restaurant when you arrive, I heard her tell a guest 'No' who wanted some water after a 12 hour flight. In the afternoon I connected with a young man, the bellboy Mr. Martin he was exceptional, very friendly and helpful. This young man should be in the front desk. • Rick (6/5): Value for part day stay - We disembarked a cruise ship at 10am and checked in at 11am ahead of going to the airport at 7pm. The hotel served our needs for free internet, a bed and shower to use, and an easy walk to attractions. Staff spoke English, arranged currency and transport. The only negative to report is that the wall mounted air conditioner was ineffective on this hot day. Otherwise well worth the $82.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Located at walking distance from Downtown BsAs. - 10 minutes to Carrefour food supermarket. 20 minutes to Palermo and Recoleta Cemetery. About 45 minutes to Florida street. 5 minutes to subte. Breakfast really good (swedish buffet): cheese, ham, eggs, yoghourt, milk, cake, etc. Busy, noisy neighbourhood, but seem safe at night.
• Amanda (6/5): Very rude staff but otherwise OK - We requested a double bed, which was clearly stated on the Expedia booking form. When we arrived after a long flight, we were given a twin. We went back to reception, where the night manager argued and said we had not asked for a double, despite us showing it to him on the Expedia printout. Eventually, he said we could have a double if we waited an hour. We waited and were given a room with two beds pushed together. We accepted this for the night, but said we would still like a double. He promised to move us the next day, but did not, even though we were staying another two nights. The room was spacious, but very noisy and hot and no airconditioning. We could not open the window because of the traffic noise. Also, you had to pay extra for wifi in the room. On the positive side, the water pressure in the shower was strong and the water hot, and breakfast was good. We ended up spending an extra night in Buenos Aires, but moved to another hotel. We are not overly fussy people but this was the worst service we recieved in any hotel in South America.

• Luis Carlos Zuim (10/5): A great money-value in the Recoleta's neighborhood - A great money-value in the Recoleta's neighborhood. Good service, confortable and clean rooms, friendly staff. Several local and good restaurants at walking distance. About 1/2 mile to the Subway (Subte) Line 4.

• Erhard (8/5): convient location - The front desd is very helpfull in reserving transportation and the hotel is in good location and has an exellent breakefast buffett.
• Crissy (6/5): Good, reasonably priced stay - This is worth the price you pay. By no means a luxurious stay, but good if you just need a nice, clean place to stay. Breakfast is fine and there are a decent amount of options. The only minor issue I had was with having to constantly go downstairs and getting new wifi codes. Other than than, Wilton is a decent hotel in BsAs.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Close to everything - Nice hotel and very well located. Metres away from all downtown attractions. My only constructive feedback is the carpet condition in the rooms. I used the hotel few times before and I always encounter the same issue. It looks that it hasn't been cleaned properly or it is just old and it needs to be change. Also the hotel looks a bit outdated and a bit of renovation will give a fresh look. Nevertheless, a nice experience and I will come back again
