De locatie was ook super centraal in de stad, alles op loopafstand. Personeel is super vriendelijk. Het hotel is verouderd en zo ook de kamers...voor het label en de prijs van "Hilton" verwacht ik meer luxe op de kamers en dan met name in de badkamer.

Evelyn (1/5): Schrecklich - Die Lage Es war unfassbar. Sämtliche Sachen im Kühlschrank waren abgelaufen. Als wir uns unten in der Hotel Lobby beschwert haben, ist man uns nicht entgegengekommen. Ich habe eigentlich erwartet, dass uns die kompletten Kosten zurückerstattet werden. Vor unserem Zimmer lag ein Teil einer toten Taube, das Zimmer war zu geraucht. Überall waren vor dem Fenster Zigarettenkippen.

Voor die prijs, verwachtte wij iets meer comfort. We moesten douchen in bad! Kleine badkamer. En we moesten €50,- borg per dag betalen, dat is niet meer van deze tijd en we zijn geen jeugdigen. Daarnaast heb ik met creditcard card geboekt.

Julian (5/5): War gut, aber für das Gehalt erwarte ich einen hohen Stabdard - Die Lage wir hatten einige Probleme bei unserem Aufenthalt, falsche Zimmer Kategorie. Wurde dann behoben. Dann hatten wir 12 std kein heißes Wasser im Zimmer wurde erst nächsten Tag gelöst. Schade
Soraya (5/5): Prima, maar vraag om een vernieuwde kamer en als je die niet krijgt ga meteen naar de frontdesk. - De locatie is top en het ontbijt is van goede kwaliteit en voldoende uitgebreid (wel weinig beleg). Volkoren brood is lekker en de koks maken heerlijke eitjes/omeletten naar wens. Zwembad is fijn. Personeel aardig en conciërge erg kundig en behulpzaam. Het hotel wordt gerenoveerd, en wat nog verouderd is, is flink verouderd. Precies 1 stopcontact bij het bed, als je met 2 personen bent kan je niet tegelijk op bed 2 telefoons opladen. Ziet er behoorlijk afgetrapt, smoezelig en uitgeleefd uit:glad bad, ratelende airco uitlaat, gaten in tapijten, half kapot telefoontoestel om te bellen naar de frontdesk, vieze randen in de WC's, makeup spiegel is lam dus werkt niet, etc. Dat weet je als hotel, dan vind ik dat je bij check in al bij wijze van "we are so sorry' iets moet doen richting de klant om het leed te verzachten. En niet alleen als iemand er wat van zegt als je vraagt: did you have a pleasant stay? Wij hebben ervoor gekozen om het aan het einde te melden, het antwoord was: ja we weten dat het er oud en vies uit ziet, had het eerder gezegd. Nu kunnen we niks meer doen. Snap het maar deels, wij hadden geen zin om het gesprek aan het begin aan te gaan, maar de reactie achteraf viel vies tegen. Je weet het en kiest er dus voor om alleen de mensen die klagen te bedienen. Ook zei de Frontdesk medewerker: alles loopt via BOOKING dus ik kan ook niet bijvoorbeeld achteraf een korting geven wegens mindere kwaliteit. (wat opvallend is, heb aan de balie betaald, direct bij Hilton zelf). Jammer, er is een verschil tussen niet willen en niet kunnen/mogen. Ze reageerde bijna verbolgen toen ik vroeg of ik een slechte kamer kreeg omdat ik via Booking had gereserveerd! Ook bij de advertentie bij BOOKING staat er niet: het hotel wordt vernieuwd, de oude kamers zijn oud en er is sprake van overlast door de verbouwing en bouwpersoneel dat rondloopt in het hotel. Kortom: niet Hilton-waardig en zeker geen 5 sterren!

Desiree (8/5): Heerlijk ontbijt! - Ontbijt was fantastisch! Heel veel keuze, ook als je wat later bent. Metro voor de deur is heel erg fijn. Het achterstallige onderhoud aan de kamer. Zie foto’s. De verwarming, plafond, knop aan de deur en ik vermoed de tissuebox hingen er af. Ook zooltjes van de pantoffels lieten bv los - kurk lag door de kamer. Geen 5 sterren waardig. Ik heb tegenwoordig het gevoel dat als je via booking boekt niet de beste kamers krijgt. Het restaurant voor het avond eten vond ik echt overdreven prijzig. Klein biefstukje met frietjes- 50€. Het was prima, maar niet naar verhouding.

Foodiemia (6/5): Central but mediocre stay - Our check in process was very chaotic, and traveling here had made it so much more hectic. The attendants were not very helpful or clear in their reasoning for our room selection. The room we were assigned to had a connecting room on the 4th floor, but that wasn’t the only problem. After speaking to the check in staff, we were able to get changed to a room on the 6th floor which was an updated room and much better. Why this was not offered the first time is beyond me. I would offer a renovated room for loyalty members if such a room was available. We were also turned off by the “perfume” that is piped in through the public spaces. I think it is the same low quality Crabtree and Evelyn that are part of the bathroom ammenities. It was so strong in the lobby at times that you had to hold your breath. There was also contruction going on throughout the stay - something that was not mentioned on their website, until we inquired. Everyday there was loud drilling noises interrupting our “relaxing” vacation. This is mostly a business hotel that has conventions and gatherings of that sort. Breakfast is heavily affected by the number of people. But we appreciated that they had filtered coffee and quality breakfast foods for use to enjoy. The executive lounge offerings were somewhat confusing. There was a cumbersome salad bar to prepare, but delicious hot items that were changed daily. Our room was kept very clean by the kind housekeeping staff.

The staff were nice The parking is not included .. they give you only one time during your stay two bottles of water which is bad especially for a five stars hotel . When I asked them about more water they told me that I should buy from the kiosk or drink from the tap water of the bathroom 🙂 When they were cleaning my bed they threw my clothes on the floor and kept them there ..
