- Javier (10/5): - It was a great alternative for large groups now that Airbnb seems to be ilegal in new york for short stays. The room was spacious enough for 3 couples and a toddler. It is very well located and the view to the river is amazing. You can walk to the Brooklyn Bridge and a lot more attractions in NY. The staff was also very helpful on every request we had.

The laundry room facilities were great as it was snowing that week and clothes had to be changed frequently. Nothing fresh; could do with more fruit and yoghurts.

- Ingrid (10/5): Excellent choix en famille à 4 sur NY, je recommande vivement - Très belle surprise au coeur de Manhattan et c'est mon troisième voyage! proximité métro et Oculus, battery park, le calme au milieu pourtant de l'agitation. venus à 4, nosu avons beaucoup apprécié les cuisines communes aux 8e, 23e et 26e étages, la salle de sport au 7e et la laverie en libre service au 9e. prendre son café en regardant le pont de Brooklyn, quel plaisir ! nous avions demandé une chambre en hauteur pour être loin du tumulte de la rue, malgré des voisins bruyants (mais cela, difficile de prévoir). hyper réactivité en amont de l'hôtel, même depuis l'aéroport quand je leur ai demandé comment venir en métro. une boisson et une patisserie au petit-déj, que nosu complétions par nos propres courses au whole food market à 8 minutes à pied. et puis la déco hyper sympa, on a tout adoré vraiment. Merci aussi au personnel super sympathique. RAS. On aurait apprécié un late check out après 7 nuits, mais bon, vu le turn-over on peut comprendre que cela ne se pratique pas § ils ont gardé nos bagages en attendant pour le dernier jour.

Le studio était très propre, spacieux, la literie confortable. On y a passé un super séjour. La kitchenette est vraiment équipée au minimum et une petite table pour manger aurait été appréciable, mais néanmoins ça permet de faire les petits déjeuner et des petits repas simples le soir.

The only downside is to not expect a proper breakfast or a proper gym as mentioned in the description. The breakfast is only a coffee and a pastry for less days than your actual staying and the gym has some really basic equipment.

- Fabien (10/5): Un emplacement idéal pour découvrir New York - L'emplacement de Placemakr est idéal : proche d'une bouche de métro permettant facilement de rejoindre les lieux principaux, une rue calme pour ne pas souffrir du bruit et du tumulte de la ville, deux supérettes à proximité immédiate. La chambre : nous étions dans la 801 qui offre un lit 2 places dans, un lit en alcôve et un canapé lit : elle est idéale pour une famille de 4 avec des enfants ne pouvant pas dormir ensemble (ex : ado / garçon - fille ...) On se sent immédiatement chez soi. Le lit en alcove permet à un ado de se créer un espace réservé, la pièce principale et la kitchenette permettent de prendre des repas en famille. La salle de bain est spacieuse. Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique, toujours souriant et prêts à nous renseigner. Daniel au bar prépare des cafés, latte, cappuccinos délicieux. Le petit déjeuner compris offre pour chaque personne : 1 boisson chaude et une pâtisserie (qui sont toutes délicieuses et fraîches !). Il suffit de faire un tour à la superette pour l'agrémenter d'un jus de fruit et de quelques fruits frais. Les machines à laver et sèche lignes sont en libre accès et gratuits (c'est assez rare pour mériter d'être signalé) Merci au personnel pour son travail qui a contribué à rendre notre séjour innoubliable. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement ! On cherche encore quelque chose qui ne nous a pas plu ... :)

- ebentum (9/5): Prima uitvalsbasis voor New York - Het was eigenlijk een klein appartement in Manhatten. Je kan er ontbijten en zelf eten als je zou willen. Verder zijn het twee 2 persoonsbedden waarvan 1 een bedstee. Daar moet je wel van houden. Ook was de metro kort bij dus alles snel te bereiken. Een tafel waaraan je kon zitten. Nu was er alleen een klein bureautje, 1 stoel en een bank. We hadden wel onze eigen salontafel gefabriceerd! Verder was het appartement prima.

The property is very clean, the laundry is free which is not that common, there is a great rooftop as well. I love it here. For the same price other properties don’t offer half of the ammenities. The only downside is probably the coffee shop downstairs, one day we could buy a coffee there and another day we got the information we can’t buy it since it’s only for people with breakfast vouchers. That seems inconsistent but not a big issue since it’s Manhattan theres a coffee shop Everywhere.

- Remi (9/5): Super séjour en famille au sud de Manhattan - Emplacement au top, près de battery parc, des ferries pour la statue de la liberté. A 200m de la station de metro. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut aux alentours et le quartier (financial district) est sécurisé et animé. L'hôtel est très bien. Calme. Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien pensées et bien décorées. Il y a de nombreuses étagères et des rangements partout. Kitchenette Ok. Le deuxième lit (pour nos enfants) était parfait et bien isolé. Un coin bien à eux. Les petits plus : petit déjeuner chaque matin avec les tickets, la salle de sport, la salle avec les machines à laver gratuites qui est aussi une salle de jeux
- C (4/5): - The location we stayed for five days , the air conditioning only worked properly on the final night after the technician was finally able to resolve the issue. For the majority of our stay, the room remained uncomfortable, making it very difficult for us to sleep and fully enjoy our visit.I would sincerely appreciate discussing a possible discount or adjustment for the nights affected by this issue.

Réception ouverte 24h/24h. Aucun sentiment d'insécurité dans la rue même tard le soir. En cas d'arrivée anticipée ou du départ, les valises peuvent être gardées par la réception Seul bémol, équipement de la cuisine trop restreint pour pouvoir cuisiner sur place (ex: pas de passoire , pas de poêle,)
