Yuri (4/5): Больше похоже на замок Дракулы, причем не в романтическом смысле. Точно не остановимся еще раз - Отличное местоположение, аутентичность и атмосфера отеля. Хороший бар. Номер очень уставший, граница между аутентичностью и буквальной старостью с сильным перекосом ко второму. В номере темно, ванная комната оформлена в жутком красном стиле и очень тесная - на третий день уже очень начинает напрягать. Косметика вся старая в ванной, с запахом нафталина. Матрас продавлен, спать нереально. Попросили заменить - вместо этого попытались что то подложить🤷🏻 это никак ситуации не помогло. В номере люксе спать полусидя из за глубокой ложбине в матрасе - так себе опыт. В общем: отель с историей, но явно пора делать реновацию, причем на 100%. Соседний Danieli был посвежее, но его в настоящий момент полностью перестраивают.

Ich finde es schon etwas überzogen bei Zimmerpreisen von über € 700,— für Spiegeleier etc. nochmals zur Kasse gebeten wetden Die Preise in der Bar sind total überzogen. Wir kommen seit 20 Jahren in dieses Hotel und glauben jetzt werden wir uns etwas Neues suchen!

Lovely apple cake on one day for breakfast... Except for apple cake, breakfast was acceptable but not memorable - and no arugula salad [one of my favorite things about Italian breakfast buffet]...

Wayne (10/5): - This is the most exceptional hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Firstly, everything worked. And in Venice, even in a 5 star hotel, you can’t assume that to always be the case. The showers had heaps of pressure and heaps of hot water. The toilets flushed powerfully. The power points worked, as did the tv and air conditioning. The beds were so comfortable I slept through the night for the first time in years. I truly appreciated the love and attention that the owner lavishes on her property. It is immaculate. This is part art gallery, part home,part hotel. I “get” it and love it. Bravo Madame!

Clément (9/5): Une fabuleux séjour vénitien - La décoration et l’emplacement est l’atout majeur du Metropole. Merci pour l’attention portée à l’anniversaire de ma compagne. Le petit déjeuner est extrêmement bon avec du choix des fruits frais, une bonne charcuterie. Le personnel est au petit soin toujours agréable et prêt à aider. En suggestion, proposer de bonne adresse pour les restaurants et tips de la ville Sinon absolument rien à redire

Andrea (9/5): - Sono sincero, questo hotel non era la mia primia scelta. Fortunatamente sono stato piacevolemente colpito. Un cinque stelle piccolo e molto intimo. Uno degli ultimi hotel veneziani non di proprietà di catene di hotel ma di veneziani che lo posseggono da diverse generazioni. Sono collezionisti d'arte e questo è ben presente visitando l'hotel. Il gusto dei proprietari è ben visibile in questa antica struttura, molto curata sia nelle stanze, sia nella colazione, sia nel bel giardino all'interno della struttura. La chiccha la si trova nel loro Oriental bar. Cocktail magistralmente preparati da un vero professionista come il Sig. Andrea, vero fuoriclasse. Cucina di alto livello, che dovrebbe però inserire più proposte sia nei piatti che nella carta dei vini. Prezzi in linea con il mercato veneziano letto un po' piccolo

Bellissime le opere d'arte esposte nei vari piani. Ottima la colazione. Servizio sempre impeccabile. Alcune cose, per me importanti: mettere a disposizione dei punti luce. La mia camera ne aveva uno; ho dovuto staccare tre lampade per collegare ciò che mi occorreva. Oltre al letto, nella stanza c'erano due tavolini tondi e un grande comò, del tutto inutile. Sarebbe opportuno sostituire il comò con una scrivania con sedia, oggi molto più utile. Il collegamento Internet dell'albergo non è sicuro, quindi ho dovuto usare il mio personale. Le tende lato esterno, leggere, avevano il cordone per regolarle. Quelle interne, pesanti, no. Un gancio sul lato destro era sganciato.

J'ai été déçu du bain à remous, on s'attendait à quelque chose de plus sophistiqué et dans lequel on pouvait minimum être à deux personnes. Au prix des nuits nous avons également été déçus de ne pas avoir le spa compris dans le tarif.

Dagmar (7/5): Überteuert: Preis und Leistung klaffen massiv auseinander - Die Lage Die Zimmer gingen auf den Garten hinaus, in welchem die Außenanlagen der Klimaanlage waren. Die Lautstärke war ähnlich der einer Flugzeugturbine, sodass selbst bei geschlossenem Fenster und geschlossenen Fensterläden Schlafen nur mit Ohrenstöpseln möglich war. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte 3-Sterne-Niveau, Filterkaffee und Teewasser auf der Warmhalteplatte, wenig Auswahl bei Schinken und Käse ebenso wie beim Obst.

Madeleine (10/5): Venice Old and New - We loved that this hotel is a throwback to old Venice, but with contemporary flare and updates. We had a suite on the lagoon. One thing to know is that the lagoon rooms have a lot of foot traffic underneath them as people are boarding tenders to go back to cruise ships near here. But we thought that was fun and it did not bother us at all. The traffic is mostly during the day when we were out and about.

Rene (7/5): A very specific styled hotel outside of the crowded areas in Venice that needs attention to detail. - The hotel certainly has a clearly defined style, however, we didn't particularly like it. The rooms were nice, beds were fine too. Breakfast is nice. Personnel were very friendly and forthcoming. The hotel is just outside of the crowded tourists areas. They did nicely arrange for the water taxi to bring us to the airport. The hotel feels outdated. We were upgraded (nice) and had a room with a view on the garden. However, next to this garden all airconditionings are there and they do make quite some noise. Also, our airconditioning wasn't working properly and we advised the hotel to fix this. Instead, they switched the airconditioning off. We didn't complain about this as the temperature in Venice was pretty low for the time of the year, so we were happy to have it off during our stay. The bathroom is pretty small (and warm) for a 5-star hotel. Also, the generic feeling is that of past history. There is also a big pedestrian crossing outside of the hotel for those with disabilities to cross the stairs over small canals.

Tomasz (9/5): Aufenthalt in einem weltklasse Hotel in Venedig. - Ein sehr schönes, sauberes und sehr gut ausgestattetes Hotel. Das Personal ist ultra freundlich und hilfsbereit und zwar alle! Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Hotel hat eine fantastische Lage um Venedig zu Fuß und per Boot zu erkunden. Unsere Suite war super ausgestattet und sehr komfortabel. Es war wirklich alles super sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und wirklich frische und erstklassige Produkte. Auch die gesamte Ausstattung des Hotels und die Details sind sehr außergewöhnlich. Sehr empfehlenswert. Für uns persönlich als Miniabzug, dass es beim Frühstück etwas mehr Fleisch / Würstchen geben könnte. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Das Hotel ist echt super.

Friedrich (10/5): Casanova-Feeling pur - Herrschaftliches Zimmer zur Lagune mit üppigem Dekor, herrlichem Bett und gepflegtem Badezimmer. Lunch und im Hidden Garden war sensationell was Setting, Qualität und vor allem Service betrifft. Ebenso das Frühstück - mit sensationellem Buffet-Setup. Die Bar ist ohnehin eine Klasse für sich und war uns bereits bekannt. Personal an Rezeption bleibt in punkto Freundlichkeit deutlich hinter Personal im Restaurant.
