- Melody (1/5): hope that the booking offers for customers can be honest and respectful. - The location of the hotel is great, and the staff's attitude is very good! However, I hope that the following points can be addressed with honesty and respect for the customers. The room I booked is 27 square meters and fully paid in advance! However, when I checked in, the receptionist kept telling me that because the hotel was fully booked, he had upgraded me to a room with a small living room. We were grateful but insisted that we needed a room with a bathtub. When we happily arrived at the room, there was no bathtub, so we immediately requested a room change! I returned to the front desk and told him that I needed a room with a bathtub, and I was very firm about it. The gentleman told me, "Is a shower not okay? I’ve already upgraded you!" (His so-called upgrade was smaller than the room I originally booked with a bathtub.) I was unhappy and showed him my booking information! I booked a 27-square-meter room with a bathtub, and I had already paid; why should full booking affect me? I occupied the front desk for 10 minutes while he kept telling me it was fully booked! But I was persistent! Eventually, a lady took over, and I showed her my booking! She said, "Yes, you booked a 27-square-meter room," and then I stood there for another 15 minutes before she finally said there was a room available, after which I waited another 15 minutes for them to check everything! The whole process wasted me nearly 45 minutes!
At checkout, I was asked to pay the city tax, which is reasonable, but there was an additional charge of 22%! I confirmed with the front desk what this charge was for, and I said I didn't use the minibar or room service. The front desk told me that was a tip for all the hotel staff! First of all, we already gave tips when the hotel staff brought our luggage, so charging again is inappropriate, but it should be respectful of the guests, as tourists should decide how much to give! It’s not that you printed the bill and when the customer questioned it, the front desk said, "You can refuse to give a tip, and I will remove it right now." How do you expect customers to respond?

Unauthorised Charges and Unprofessional Conduct - Regardless what I like about this hotel, but one single dishonest person destroyed the hotel reputation! I made a reservation at this property from 9 February to 11 February via Booking.com. The total amount, inclusive of all taxes and fees, was clearly stated on the platform and paid in full at check-in.
At check-out on 11 February, a male receptionist demanded payment for additional purported “service fees”. This demand was made despite full settlement of the agreed amount and without any prior disclosure or contractual basis. The receptionist was aware that we were pressed for time due to an imminent flight, yet persisted in seeking payment under circumstances indicating potential bad faith.
I have formally raised this matter with Booking.com and am pursuing recovery of the unlawfully charged amount.
Separately, upon our arrival, the same individual inquired about our occupations—a question that is both irrelevant and professionally inappropriate. Such conduct suggests a deliberate attempt to assess vulnerability rather than provide legitimate service.
This incident reflects a serious lapse in integrity and staff oversight. Regardless of the property’s physical standards or the professionalism of other team members, a single dishonest employee can materially undermine guest trust and reputational standing.
I cannot recommend this hotel, and I caution prospective guests to verify all charges and remain vigilant when interacting with certain members of staff.
Recommendation to Management:
Immediate review of front-desk hiring and training protocols is strongly advised. Without demonstrable corrective action, incidents of this nature will continue to expose the establishment to liability and reputational harm.

La ubicación es muy buena una vez que llegas. Es difícil llegar porque está en el centro y hace también te dificulta para conseguir Taxis Lo malo fueron los ruidos. Los primeros dos días me dieron una habitación en el fondo que a las tres de la mañana empezaba la orquesta de los recolectores de basura. Vaciando tachos y llenando camiones tardaron como 35 minutos a puro ruido. Me cambiaron de habitación al frente y ahí me tocó una obra en construcción pegada al hotel que a las 8.01 empezaba con un martillo neumático y chau sueño.

La gastronomía del restaurante excelente también. TODO el personal sumamente amable y servicial. Sólo remarcaría que en pleno invierno hacía mucho frio y la calefacción no funcionaba correctamente hasta que fue reparada. De todos modos el ruido del motor de arranque de la ventilación del calefactor fue algo que molestó para dormir.

Bununla birlikte, otel girişinde karşılama görevlilerinin güler yüzü ve oda servisi ile temizlik personelinin özverili çalışması olumlu yönler olarak ayrışıyor. Ancak işletmenin genel anlamda özellikle ön büro ve restoran hizmetlerinde ve restoran menüsü ile yemeklerinin kalitesizliğine (!) daha fazla özen göstermesi gerektiğini düşünüyorum.
Bugüne kadar konakladığım oteller için yorum yapmamıştım; bu ilk yorumum. Ne yazık ki bu konaklamadan memnun kalmadım.

Das Hotel hat einen tollen Charme und ein großartiges Ambiente. Der Empfang ist herzlich und charmant, man fuehlt sich sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Qualität des Services in allen Bereichen ( Frühstück, Zimmer, Concierge, …) hat ein hohes Niveau und entspricht den Anforderungen, die man an ein solch renommiertes Haus stellt.
Das einzige, was ich als sehr schade empfand, war, dass die Dachterrasse geschlossen war und offensichtlich nur in der Hauptsaison geöffnet ist. Denn ich liebe die Dachterrassen Roms, die zu jeder Jahreszeit reizvoll sind.
