• Regina (10/5): Amazing! - The place is quite spacious and gives off a traditional vibe, but the best thing about it is the location. You can get anywhere very quickly, and there are several metro stations nearby. There are also plenty of restaurants and things to do in the area, which is great when you’re tired and just want to step out and grab something to eat. The apartment was clean, and everything was in good condition. The only issue was that we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work, but it was probably because we didn’t know how to use it properly.

• Cory (9/5): Quant traditional esque lodging in a very cool nook of Tokyo! - Overall, very great experience! We especially loved the location, it was in a very bustling area but tucked away so it was not noisy at night. We had three people total in our group and it was very comfortable! We did have some trouble getting in contact with the host upon our arrival and were unable to store our luggage before arriving. I don’t know if this is actually not available but would be worth coordinating in advance. However there is a bounce luggage storage very close that we ended up using. It is a bit of a hill to get to the stay from the train station so be aware of you have large roller bags.

• Sharon (7/5): 與預期有落差 - 位置對於沒帶行李（尤其行李箱）會是友好，很多小酒舘、居酒屋等。check in & out 非常方便，時間對晚歸人士極友好。 房間內有一些小飛蟲，不多，但我留意到品種是渠口常有的品種，建議清理一下。浴室的污漬感覺不太好，所以我沒有用。另外煮食工具有油漬，即使我已沖水，還是有，結果煮湯時有不少油浮出來，為時已晚，只好倒掉。因為地方小，不提供行李寄存，非常失望，要去另一cafe 額外付費寄存。器具齊全，但欠基本東鹽、糖等調味料。
• Chiharu (10/5): 静かなエリア、広々としてくつろげる - ロケーションが良かった。部屋のスペースが広くて、大変快適だった。調理器具も揃っていて自炊もできるのがとても便利だった。 空気清浄機や換気扇がうるさかった。時々悪臭もあり、換気をしなければ、カビてしまうのでしょうか？2階の人の歩く音がすごく聞こえるし、振動も感じる。

I enjoyed sleeping on the futon and the feel of the place was calm and cosy. - Fabulous location, away from tourist areas and tucked away down a cobblestone alley way. Lots of interesting cafes, restaurants, shops etc in the local area. Great vibe & beautiful atmosphere at night.

We will definitely come back. The reviews which say the place is small must be the 2 occupancy bedrooms, not the one we stayed for sure. The bar is really nice. The address might take an extra 5 min to find it if it is your first time in Japan.

Les équipements sont fonctionnels. L’appartement est mignon et traditionnel. J’y suis restée 5 nuits début mars, j’ai eu très très froid malgré le chauffage, couette et 3 plaids. J’ai failli changer d’établissement mais j’avais déjà payé et c’était déjà assez cher. Le logement est mal isolé, on entendait beaucoup les voisins du dessus. Personne pour m’accueillir à mon arrivée et aucune instruction. Je suis restée 20 min sous la pluie le soir à 21h, à chercher une entrée (pas de réponse sur booking).
• Vesna (1/5): The worst accommodation of our trip and worst accommodation for me in over 30 years - This property was awful - the worst I have stayed at in 30 years . The photos online must be of the two other rooms . There are 3 rooms, perhaps the downstairs one and first upstairs one are bigger and have a small yard - the room had two poor quality single mattresses and a terrible foam fold out mattress which was supposed to be a third adult bed . When put out no room to walk and nowhere to put anything . Everything . Small , terrible mattresses, overpriced , nil responsiveness , hard to find . Booked 3 nights for 2 adults and teen. Left after one and sacrificed a lot of money to avoid sleeping in such a depressing place . False advertising. This is a dodgy air bnb. Do not book . So many better options in Tokyo .

• Angus (10/5): Fantastic multi-day stay to explore and base from to experience Tokyo. - The location provided a unique experience, traditional feel and humble residence to base ourselves from during our stay in Tokyo. The alleyway access off the main street made us feel like we were locals in the area despite only being there for a few days. The location is surrounded by great, discrete little bars and dining options. It is out of the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku and Shibuya, yet still a stone throw away from al the special experiences in these areas with the conveniently located station at the end of the street. Great for the first few days in Japan to acquaint yourself with the culture without feeling overwhelmed.

• NGUYENMAIANH (2/5): 二度と利用することはないと思います。 - 坂があるため移動は少し大変でしたが、それ以外はロケーションは良かったです。 1．チェックイン対応について Booking経由で事前に荷物預かりについて問い合わせをしましたが、一切返信がありませんでした。また、チェックイン当日までお部屋の案内や来館時間に関する連絡もなく、非常に不安を感じました。 返信がないまま、チェックイン当日の午前11時頃にホテルへ向かいましたが、スタッフは不在でした。 さらに、Bookingに記載されている電話番号は当ホテルのものではなく、同グループの別施設の番号でした。そこで初めて「15時までスタッフ不在」であることを知りました。事前に何の案内もなかったことは大きな問題だと思います。 夜に再度連絡しましたが、やはり当ホテルの番号ではありませんでした。対応してくださった方は丁寧でしたが、その時点で初めてチェックインが23時までであることを知りました。基本的な情報共有がされていないことに強い不満を感じました。 連絡体制および案内の不備は早急に改善すべきだと思います。 2．設備について 全体的に設備がかなり老朽化しており、特に冬場は室内が寒く、快適とは言えませんでした。 浴室の設備も古く、水回りは非常に使いづらい状態でした。 3．客室設備（鏡について） 客室内にトイレ以外の鏡がなく、化粧やヘアセット、着替えの際に非常に不便でした。 トイレ内の鏡は小さく、照明も黄色で暗いため、メイクには適していません。また、化粧品を置くスペースもなく、女性にとってはかなり使いづらい環境です。 正直に言って、女性の宿泊にはおすすめできません。

• 楊 (5/5): Would not recommend more than 2 ppl with checked luggages to stay in this property - Location is great and with wash machine Check-in is only possible after 5pm, and the host is not very responsive. The host has two similar listings on Booking.com, both marked as suitable for three people. However, one is actually meant for two adults and a child, and the other can barely accommodate three adults—especially if you’re traveling with luggage. The heating is weak. With the outside temperature at −4°C, it took about three hours for the room to warm up.

• Jae Marie (4/5): - Location was convenient for access to trains and bars. The title of this listing is misleading and is more of an AirBnB than a hotel. There is no lobby nor onsite staff available for the duration of the stay. One day prior to our stay, the hotel messaged saying it was their holiday and would not complete regular check ins. We were given the code to the room and a check in code without any other instructions. Finding the room was difficult and checking in was confusing as it was done via an in room iPad. The in room book seems incomplete as it noted amenities that were unavailable in the room we were staying in - had a page on how to use the automated bath filler, despite our room not having one. It also did not have instructions on how to control the heating/AC/ventilation.

The bar is a real experience and the owners are very kind and friendly. Highly recommended for an authentic Japanese experience.

It was very late at night and we had not received our pin code, rang the hotel contact several times. Finally were where met by a staff member who took us from the station to the hotel. Frankly without this assistance we would not have found the accommodation. We had booked the room for three adults, the third bed was in al old style cupboard area and too small for this person to sleep in. No formal pillow for that bed either and the ones supplied were dirty. Was not suitable for three people, virtually no space for third person This was definitely not suitable for three adult people that we had paid for and in that way very disappointing Television did not work

• Johanna (9/5): Authentic local stay in perfect location - The location was perfect, right in the heart of the charming Kagurazaka district with plenty of small local restaurants and bars. The hotel has only three rooms, and access to them is from outside, so it doesn’t get crowded. Check-in and check-out were smooth and fully digital. The room has everything you need, but the bed on the tatami takes up most of the floor space in the bedroom. We mainly used the room for sleeping and washing up, as we spent most of our time outside.

Incredibly small and for a family of three simply not suitable. Bedroom and living space is one room. three beds on the tatami completely filled the room. No where to sit and relax anywhere else in the apartment. only the third bed could be rolled up. Would be perfectly adequate for two adults, but with two adults and a 14 year old it was a squeeze.

Literally could hear conversations and laughters throughout the night from the bedroom. IMO better sound proofing could be done.

The property is on an old cobbled street that is quiet but there are lots of very cute eateries and restaurants within a 2 min walk. I loved staying here. Nothing. It was great!

• Julienne (10/5): A beautiful oasis in Toyko but close to all you need! - We stayed in the most amazing apartment—truly an oasis tucked away from the buzz. It had a beautiful garden where we sipped our morning coffees in peace, and the space itself was perfect for relaxing: we lounged on the floor under a cozy heated blanket table, snacked, and just unwound. Sleeping on the tatami mats was such a treat—so comfortable and grounding, I honestly wish I was still there. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, even accepting our forwarded luggage and keeping in touch throughout. So great that we had a few drinks with them at the bar! A perfect stay. How short my stay was!

The woman how meet me at the Retro Bar at check in was very not nice, even screaming as she was frustrated and couldn't understood what I was saying in english. Her first world when she saw me instead of 'hello and welcome' was 'What' Well I just came to check in.. I really didn't expect it from japanaise hospitality. There is no view from the room window, even glass is not transparent so you won't be able see a wall behind it.

Lovely chill neighbourhood with a few minutes walk to the metro to go to all the tourist spots. Very small accommodation, as we were 3 very big people but we knew to expect that so very ok and loved the retro vibe :)

• Mm (6/5): amazing location - location was amazing. central, convenient, lovely area yet quiet and safe at night no space to open luggage, bed was very uncomfortable with coils randomly popping at night while sleeping. no space to put toiletry anywhere and no mirror to dry hair

• Patrick (9/5): A traditional Ryokan! Mostly Pro's, some Cons. - Felt like a classic Japanese Ryokan. Great experience for a first timer in Japan. Friendly reception as well at the Whiskey bar. Spacious common areas, plenty of mats and cushions to sit on. Plenty of extra futons so you could double up on the beds if you like. Actually had fun sitting with the boys having a drink, then planning our trip thereafter on the table. Located right by a main train station so the location is solid. Amenities were a little dated. Chairs downstairs were cracked and did not support your weight on the back very well. Hair dryer had zero heat so if you have long hair good luck. Ceilings were a little short.. under 5'7 you're fine. Above? Duck.

• Ka (8/5): Very good - The location was excellent. A bit small and hard to find in the area. Also, there are many unnecessary furnitures and things in the room that occupy spaces.
• Darryl (10/5): Great location, nice staff and cozy room. - We had booked the 1 bedroom apartment. This had two beds and a futon bed. This was a thin mattress, which was fine for us, but not recommended with back problems. We had to make the third bed ourselves, and it was a bit tight to fit in. There was no room to sit in the apartment, but we only slept there and were mainly outside. This is a great room for 2 people, perhaps a bit too tight for 3, but doable. Location was very nice, in a nice and relatively quiet neighborhood. Tokyo's public transport was easily accessible, and a good base to explore Tokyo. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The first evening we went to the associated bar, which is directly below the apartment. Delicious cocktails, and having fun talking to each other with the help of Google Translate. They recommended a nice izakaya and even made a reservation for us. After some confusion about the location, the bartender even walked us to the restaurant! Super friendly and the food was delicious! - Tight fit for 3-persons
