Was ich am schlimmsten fand war das Personal. Von Putzfrau die dich morgen um 6-7 Uhr lautstark mit Videos oder Anrufen geweckt hat bis hin zur Rezeption. Die einzigen wo man mal ein lächeln oder ein guten Morgen gehört hat war die Küche! Soviel liebe Menschen in Vietnam getroffen aber da fühlt man sich von Sekunde 1 sehr unwohl!!!! Keine Fenster im Zimmer wo man rausgucken kann!!!!! Für den Preis pro Nacht was das Hotel nimmt könnten Sie diese Defekte / Schimmel wie auf den Bildern zu sehen schnell beseitigen. Dieses Hotel ist ein runtergekommenes Mittelklasse Hotel mit massiven Defiziten und definitiv kein Mittelklasse Luxus Hotel, was die sich einbilden!!!!!!

The translucent beach wallpaper in the small balcony area was a nice touch The staff were rude, especially the person managing the breakfast area. Also the shower heads in the rooms are so bad that they flooded the bathroom once turned on. The facilities person came with a couple of towels and said the showers were “fine”. I shared my concerns about the shower at reception and the staff clearly didn’t appear to take note or care.

But, they said that they dont have bill for that, the company would not know about that charge, just have to pay that extra charge to the FO and Security team in cash only. Also, they forgot to put complimentary water in out room??? definitely not worth a cent.

They cheat customers by placing used beverages in their mini bar and at the time of check out blame them and extort money. They even threaten to call the police. It’s a trauma for foreign nationals to visit this hotel. It’s better to book other hotels and even the Vietnamese Govt. May not be able to save or help foreign nationals. Rooms too are not great. Very crumped up. Overrated place. Don’t book and try a better deal elsewhere.

El cesto de la ropa sucia tenía basura de otro huésped. Mandamos a lavar ropa y nos entregaron la blanca completamente manchada. Solamente no nos cobraron el servicio de lavandería y no hicieron nada más por haber echado a perder nuestra ropa. Está cerca se la buena zona pero la calle es horrible. Llena se basura. No tiene nada de lujo. Nunca recomendaría quedarse aquí.

Thank you for your service. - I would like to give a Kudos to one of the employees in this hotel who provided excellent customer service - Mr. Jimmy Huynh. He made a difference in our stay with his kindness. When we arrived, he and the front desk lady ( I forgot her name) were the only reasons our stay was okay. If Ho Chi Minh had a lot of Mr. Huynh, people might return to this place. He even called a grab for us and messaged me on the way to the airport to ensure we would not get charged extra on our taxi fare. The one thing we like about Mr. Huynh is he was the only one among the people we encountered in Ho Chi Minh who never forced for a tip and was so happy with just a small amount of tip. You are very appreciated Mr. Huynh.

My room was the Deluxe Double room, which was at the end of the hallway next to a set of stairs that had pipes and rubble strewn across it, and led up to nowhere as they just joined to the roof. My room also had no windows or natural light which created a very comfortable ambiance. Also, the shower head on the roof was damaged and just spurted water out of the front and all over the bathroom. Finally, despite requesting a non smokers room, I was given one with a little smoking closet in the corner. Overall, it wasn’t a great stay and I won’t be returning.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Good - not appropriate for vegetarians andfamilies - The hotel is good and room service and reception staff is very friendly. However it is not appropriate for family as well as vegetarian tourist due to the following reasons 1) breakfast spread doesn't have any option for vegetarians. All veg / non-veg food is laid out together.. serving spoons are mixed up. Despite informing the staff, they didn't bother to bring fresh non-mixed food for us 2) the staff in the restaurant was not keen on helping vegetarian . We stayed for 4 days. On first day there was no vegetarian option.. atleast they could have made somethings for us on consecutive days.. but they didn't bother. When we requested if they could make something for us... first they flatly refused and then said it will be extra charge - despite the fact that breakfast was included in room price.. and there was no breakfast options for us except bread and butter. 3 - All rooms have glass bathroom... which is totally inappropriate for families. 4 - there are no shower curtains or stands to put shampoo / shower gel in shower area. So when taking shower, entire bathroom gets wet and slippery. I even slipped while trying to get shower gel.

Première fois que nous avons une chambre sans fenêtre, et vraiment cela fait un drôle d'effet. soit disant c'était écrit. Mais après vérification, cela n'est pas précisé pour la chambre de notre choix, une deluxe triple"! Pour certaines chambre en effet c'est indiqué. avec ou sans fenêtre, je n'ai pas trouvé cet hôtel acceuillant dès la réception. et la chambre mérite un bon coup de frais.

• ZfyEd (8/5): It's a satisfying and comfortable stay here - We have been to HCMC many times but it's the first time we are staying in this part of District 1, as previously we all stayed around Ben Thanh market, that is about 15mins walk from here. The hotel is nice and staff are overall friendly and helpful! Location wise, it's near to city center and there's a circle k convenience store located opposite and some eateries around too. Our room on 1st floor is spacious and large, and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is good (they change a few dishes daily and there's live cooking too). Room service was well done. The bathroom is big and have bathtub and automatic blinds. However, on certain days, there was no hot water (possibly many people are using at the same time) and was lukewarm. And the drainage has problem and all the water from the bathtub would flow out from below and flooded the entire toilet floor. It took a while for the water to be fully drained and floor was wet. If you don't really mind this, there's no issue. Overall, our stay here was nice and lovely and would be happy to stay here again when we revisit HCMC!
• MyName13579 (8/5): A good place to stay - We stayed in a triple room, which was a decent size. The room has a nice deep bath, accessible powerpoints and a safe large enough to fit a laptop. They let us check in early. The window looks out into a fully enclosed space, which is better than a view but with curtains that don't block the light. A pity the shower shares space with the toilet and the water pressure for the rainfall shower head is poor. The hotel has an excellent buffet breakfast with many varied dishes, both Vietnamese and continental.
• Robert (10/5): Clean, comfortable room, perfect location - Location of the hotel is great. It's close to Little Japan, and walking distance to lots of other places. Staff was friendly and spoke good English. Decent breakfast. Room was clean, and comfortable. Didn't have a window though.

• N2948SUdonnah (2/5): Disappointing to say the least - We had high hopes for the hotel but we were so disappointed. The room smelled of mold and the mattress on the bed was easily 30 years old. There was no window in the room. The towels were worn and thin. We were moved to another room that was incredibly small and also had a moldy smell. There was no window in this room. The hallway carpets were disgusting and the smell was awful. We complained and we were moved again to another floor. The ceiling started leaking in this room so we were moved again to the 7th floor. We were told it was the VIP room. There was a window that had no screen and we could not shut the window as the lock was broken. We could hear the outside noise all night. The elevator was so slow I was afraid we were going to get stuck in it.

Very crampy rooms. 4. Aircon is bad/slow. (And its central). 5. Bathroom/room is weirdly designed, glass bathroom with electronic curtain. 6. Charged 200k VND for a small towel that was stained by me.

• Peter (8/5): Blue Diamond Hotel - Pleasant accommodation for a short stay. Located at a quieter side of the city centre although still convenient and easy access to amenities and local attractions. Breakfast can be improved though. Would recommend nonetheless

• R (8/5): - I have never stayed in a schizophrenic hotel before but this is definitely one. It is a luxury hotel in many respects, the building is beautiful, the furnishings, the decor, many things make this a really high class hotel. Also, the front desk staff and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. But there were also aspects that I found perplexing. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, but it only had a tiny closet with 4 hangers, which also housed the safe, and a tiny minibar with only 4 drinks. There was no ice available in the hotel. There was a great deal of open wall area where they could have included a much bigger closet, but it seemed they chose to focus on appearance rather than usefulness, more like a museum. The bathroom was also a dichotomy. It was beautifully designed with a large tub, shower area, picturesque and glass walls with electric shades. But the design was such that once you used the shower the entire bathroom floor was always wet and slippery, and I nearly fell on more than one occasion. Overall, the staff was very friendly and anxious to help, except for the dining room staff. The included breakfast was less than satisfactory. The food was mediocre at best, and the staff seemed to disdain any eye contact, or any contact at all with guests. They were very good at cleaning tables and washing dishes and that seemed to be their primary focus. Guests often had to request for buffet food to be refilled, and the refills were often cold.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Smelly and bad service - The entire level was full of cigarettes smells. Receptionist was not helpful and rejected us a spare entry card which make us very inconvenient as we need to arrange who keep the key or pass to Receptionist which we are not very comfortable. Out of so many hotels we stayed before, this is the only hotel that rejected a spare key. Hotel look like a quarantine hotel.
